The last Day of my long lasting big auto plant.

Day 64 - flowers are so nice! - 201 watts of light a. the buds are covered in frost, this week will begin the Ripen b. added 5L of fresh spring water, ppms 900ppm, she likes 800-1100 ppm c. PH in DWC has been yellow the entire grow with hints the slightest hints of green from time to time, 6.0-6.1. d. uploaded video of grow e. like Pineapple Express, this plant will harvest a bit earlier than most of mine. pistils are turning colors fast. f. trichomes are very milky, still some clear, no amber yet Day 65 a. replaced the 5L gone in the DWC with fresh spring water b. will gradually take PPMs down closer to the 700 range for the ripening phase, tamping down with spring water for a week c. DWC has plenty of nutrients in it. d. the buds are incredibly sticky. Day 66 a. doing very well, the smell is very inenst, my carbon filter is not powerful enough to filter the smell... good thing I like the smell b. 4L gone from the DWC overnight, added more spring water, ppms down to 840 to get ready for Ripen tomorrow at 800ppm, probably 10 days or so. c. the trichomes are very milky, but there are plenty of clears still present. The pistils are turning nice colors, and no new pistils are forming! Day 67 - Ripening Day 1 - only TA Final Part (GHE Ripen) 5ml/L a. Started TA Final Part (GHE Ripen) at PH 6.0, 800ppm, she is loving it, consumed 4L overnight of Ripen solution b. I will keep the Ripen between 700 and 900ppm for the next week or more. c. The trichomes are filling fast, no ambers yet.. The buds are noticeably swelling Day 68 - Ripening Day 2 a. she is consuming 5L a day of ripening solution b. the buds are becoming noticeably larger, thanks Ripen you always work well! c. adding spring water to the DWC to top up and keep ppms between 600-800. Day 69 - Ripening Day 3 a. 4.5L gone overnight from the DWC, will top up with Ripen solution to keep ppms 600-800 b. the resin is very sticky and smells amazing, rubbing a sugar leaf and the fingers stick together Day 70 - Ripening Day 4 a. 5L gone from the DWC, topped it up with 1/2 strength ripen, ppms 800 b. the smell has overtaken the internal carbon filter and is coming out into the grow room c. she will be finishing up next week

Lights 6500EVO 9(650w) UV (50w) 15min a hr, Under canopy (86w) 12hrs, IR 15min pre and post main lights, Deep Red 20min per hour pH 6.2 EC 2.5 PPFD 1150-1300(with DR on) These things are wonderful 👍👍

Bushing out nicely! I probably should have adjusted the LST to allow them to grow taller but they were responding nicely so I kept them pinned and adjusted every few days. Finally started ph’ing the water to around 6. Water is tap, not measuring TDS or adding liquid nutes at this point. The soils transplant was done with 50/50 mix of Natures Living Soil and soil, botto 1/3 of pot and remaining 2/3 soil.

The thickening is complete! Into the ripening stage we go smelling like sweet bubblegum candy and chemically skunk cologne. Although she ran into some N tox late veg into early flower, she didn’t seem to care! Extremely thick and relatively dense buds, next level trichome coverage, and lowers that look like some of my tops when I first started growing 😂 Super satisfied with these results, and I have 4 more beans of this strain to run! She’s ready to chop now, but I want to allow my Cookie Monster (SamOG x FS) to finish drying first before harvesting this one.

Day 21 of Flower 🌸 Girls looking real fire right now — stretch is finally done and the canopy has locked in. Big, chunky colas are stacking up and the tent smells absolutely crazy when I open the door (honest — forgot how sweet flower smell is after a few years off). Quick notes / vibes: Switched to 400W HPS + 300W LED (4k) for flower — you can see the HPS side blasting the fattest colas. The two plants that were smallest under the little LED pre-flip have blown right up under HPS and are now the tallest. Kush Crasher is showing beautiful dark colours from the cooler nights (~17°C). Some big fan leaves are almost black — gorgeous. I did some supercrop & last tucks earlier while there was still room; with the net full I’m mostly done training — one last clean tomorrow/the day after, then I’ll let them fatten out. Watering: still giving ~3 L per plant every 3–4 days — feeding organic BioBizz line + Top·Max, Green Sensation in the mix as needed. Environment: box is in a cold, damp garage so I have to switch the inline off at night to avoid freezing. Running a 150W cabinet heater and a small Peltier dehumidifier (not perfect but helps). Humidity still a fight (keep an eye on it) — big fan circulation 24/7 helps a lot. Plan next moves: 1. Final lollipop / net clean tomorrow — remove any junk under the canopy, open airflow. 2. Stop training after this last tidy; let buds fatten. 3. Keep watching trichomes from week 6 onward and stagger harvests as needed. 4. Push RH down as much as possible in late bloom Strains in this run : Wedding Cake (back-left), Kush Crasher (back-center), AK-47 (back-right), Double Krush (front-left), Wappa (front-center), Detroit Runtz (front-right) — 6 clones, planted 10/10. Running in 20 L Smart pots, BioBizz Light Mix, mycorrhiza, SCROG net @ ~25–30 cm. Feeling stoked — tent is filling out exactly how I wanted. Just gotta babysit humidity and let the buds get dense. Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. This wonderful plant is amazing man, I have fallen in love with this strain and the hard rocks nuggets she has produced, beutiful orange pistils, it's just pure fire. Very dense and compact nuggets guys, she's been 100% organic grown, she has been watered with pure water and beneficial bacteria all the way and also with guano liquid by guanokalong, the aromas are very complex is very gassy stinks like a skunk however it's got some piney in and kush aroma,definitely awesome man need to keep growing this strain many more times no doubt.

Having sorted out the PH issue and the salt build up. These girls have enjoyed it so far... I will be looking to stack up each cola as mich as I can so I can yield as much as possible. I'm going short as I know these are high on Sativa. One plant has stretched very high compared to the other

Easy week just coasting on RO and flawless finish, watching these girls live out their last days. Went 24 hours before harvest without water, made for nice easy deleafing. Hanging in the dry tent at 58-60% RH for the next 7-14 days with a fan indirectly moving air. Once I got the plants out of the pots to check out the roots could see right away they were having issues. Usually can pick up the whole soil block with the remaining stem, but two of three ripped out of the soil when I tried. The airdomes which are normally packed with nice healthy roots had mostly slimy dark roots. Not looking great at all, still thinking it was my shocking then with wrong nutes that did it. Have never seen such unhealthy roots, surprised they finished! Have a few more seed will have to run her again down the road. Thanks for following along, keep an eye for final weight once dry is done.

15/12 - 21/12: just waiting for the bulk. I've decided to stop adjusting the pH of my tap water and let the soil do the rest, maybe it was counter productive. Now we wait ⏳

Week 5 started with low humidity and we placed an old humidifier inside the tent which it did increase the humidity lvls but we already have regret it as some leaves that came in contact with the hot vapor injected in the air got rotted. In week 4 one of the 3 Green gelato had popped a couple of white/green pistils but they passed mostly unnoticed. Now we are certain that this plan is in bloom stage. Really strange that it started to bloom in week 4 with 19 hours light . Autoflower strain put by mistake in the Green gelato package? Who knows.... We switched feeding to bloom on this plant ( 2ml biogrow/heaven/bloom and we added 1ml of Sensizym and Carboload)

The tank was empty, so we refilled it and started with the fade and flush the Ladys. 2.18. the final phase is underway, flowering fertilizer further reduced and PK increased again.
