Week 3 has been great! We topped 2 Pre 98 Bubbas and 2 Dirty Blondes so far , 2 other Pre98 Bubbas will also get the topping but just gotta give them a few more days and they will be ready for it ! Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Le LST est fini mon tronc en forme de colonne vertébrale fais un tour sur lui meme (vidéo jour32) cette forme me satisfait pleinement je décide donc de retirer la majorité des fil de fer servant au LST Le pincage d'Apex offre à la plante une canopé homogène (photo jour 32 34) Jour33 arrosage avec 2 litres d'eau ph6 à laquelle j'ajoute 0.5ml de topmax biobizz (dosage très léger pour ne pas provoquer un lock-out) cela favorisera son entrée en floraison. J'effectue une légère defolliation pour permettre une meilleure pénétration lumineuse aux apexs du bas. Quesque la defolliation ? LES CULTIVATEURS AMATEURS, PRENEZ GARDE, MAIS NE PRENEZ PAS PEUR La défoliation consiste à retirer les feuilles des plants de cannabis en intérieur afin d'accroître le rendementfinal. Le cultivateur amateur doit faire preuve de vigilance lorsqu'il commence à appliquer cette technique de taille. Malgré le débat sans fin entre ceux qui prônent cette technique et ceux qui la dénigre, il n'y aucune raison pour qu'un amateur ne s'y essaie pas afin de voir si ça lui convient ou non. COMMENT DÉFOLIER Que vous tailliez les feuilles ou les branches des plants de cannabis, il vaut mieux utiliser un sécateur stérile qui est confortable en main. Arracher des feuilles à la main manque de finesse et engendre souvent par accident, l'arrachement des couches d'une tige en plus de la feuille. L'objectif principal de la défoliation est de permettre une meilleure pénétration de la lumière et de promouvoir la production de plus grosses têtes. Les feuilles éventails qui font de l'ombre doivent être retirées. Tailler la tige principale et/ou les pousses secondaires n'est pas de la défoliation. La règle d'or lorsque vous donnez à vos plantes un rafraîchissement est de commencer avec les feuilles nourricières les plus grandes et les plus larges, en taillant du bas vers le haut. Il est important de retirer les feuilles stratégiquement et non pas au hasard. Pensez également qu'il vous faut limiter votre rafraîchissement à approximativement 10 à 20 % des feuilles totales de votre pied. Il est très facile de s'emporter durant la taille et de se retrouver avec des plantes chauves. Un excès de taille de feuilles empêchera la photosynthèse et paralysera vos plants. QUAND FAUT-IL DÉFOLIER Il est assez rare d'appliquer la défoliation comme seule technique pour obtenir un fort rendement. La taille des feuilles est généralement associée à d'autres méthodes de tailles et de palissage pour un meilleur rendement telles que le topping ou étêtage, le FIMming, le LST, le manifolding, le supercropping et le ScrOG. Les cultivateurs utilisant la méthode ScrOG auront besoin de retirer toutes les croissances inférieures ainsi que les feuilles et les tiges se trouvant sous le filet. Les plants de cannabis peuvent être défoliés dès lors qu'ils sont passés de la phase de plantule vers la phase de croissance végétative. Cependant, il est recommandé aux cultivateurs amateurs de laisser aux plantes 1 à 2 semaines de croissance végétative avant de s'attaquer à la défoliation de celles-ci. De plus, certaines variétés sont plus sensibles à la taille que d'autres et de ce fait, seront plus stressées par la taille des feuilles. Surveillez minutieusement le comportement de vos plants après la taille. Une période de convalescence de minimum 3 à 7 jours avant de recommencer la défoliation est fortement recommandée pour éviter trop de stress aux plants. Les cultivateurs peuvent également défolier pendant la phase de floraison, ce qui permettra à l'énergie de la plante d'être concentrée vers la production de têtes tout en limitant l'ombre et l'excès d'humidité. Néanmoins, il est important de ne pas défolier trop tard sous peine de simplement blesser ses plants inutilement. LES AVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Évidemment, l'avantage numéro un de la défoliation, c'est l'augmentation du potentiel de rendement de cette technique de taille pour tous types de cannabis allant de la photopériode aux variétés autofloraison. Ce n'est pas un secret que les fleurs qui reçoivent plus de lumières deviennent plus grandes et larges que celles dissimulées dans l'ombre des feuilles. De plus, retirer les feuilles intérieures des plants touffus aide à prévenir toutes menaces de moisissure. Les plants très feuillus avec un feuillage intérieur dense produiront une quantité importante de têtes pop-corn. Dans le pire des cas, les branches de têtes et les têtes qui sont denses succomberont au pourrissement. Si vous observez des gouttes d'eau se former sur la surface des feuilles, il est grand temps de penser à faire de la défoliation. Libérer la zone inférieure et médiane des feuilles est un excellent moyen d'améliorer la circulation de l'air. LES DÉSAVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Les plants de cannabis en intérieur bénéficient de la défoliation pour deux raisons. La première est parce qu'ils reçoivent la lumière d'une source stationnaire au-dessus d'eux, et la deuxième est parce que les conditions environnementales sont contrôlées par le cultivateur et non Mère Nature. Les plants d'extérieurs eux, n'y gagnent pas beaucoup, car les cas échéants se vérifient pour eux. Le soleil traverse le ciel, illuminant sur sa route, différentes portions de la plante de son lever à son coucher. Les cultivateurs en extérieur n'ont pas besoin de manipuler les plantes afin qu'elles se développent en adoptant une structure plate puisque le soleil est infiniment plus puissant que n'importe quelle lampe de culture et qui plus est, il est toujours en mouvement. Tailler les feuilles des plants extérieurs les rend également plus vulnérables aux conditions humides et brise leurs barrières naturelles contres les nuisibles. De nombreux cultivateurs d'intérieur peuvent, et malheureusement, c'est souvent le cas, réduire le rendement final à cause d'une défoliation faite au mauvais moment et/ou excessive. Tailler les plantules n'est pas conseillé et engendre souvent des plants nains. Scalper les plants matures est encore pire, et au lieu d'obtenir de longues branches de têtes, vous obtiendrez probablement encore moins de fleurs. De même, tailler des plants malades ou en mauvaise santé à n'importe quelle période de la croissance risque de paralyser la croissance plutôt que d'encourager la formation de fleurs denses. ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , the zkittlez did stay alot shorter and compact compared too the rest , but she has had the shame conditions than the rest , so she much just be a shorter pheno type i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady stayed very short and compact and didn't really stretch much at all and it by far the smallest plant of the bunch ,

Flipping to flower after this week and taking clones. Steady growth rate and they are getting smelly lol which is always a good sign before flower.

(DAY 42) This week has been nothing but crazy growth on the ladies part!! I’ve actually been adding super small amounts of (GH) flora grow/micro/bloom into my waterings still running my dry amendments in coco and using a little cal-mag as well! So here’s what they look like 3 days from my last post ! ..OHH and washing machine number 5 that I thought I lost to nutrient death came back! After leaving her in the corner of the grow tent and giving her nothing but water her leaves on top are bright green can’t wait for it to be my lil private stash ! Anyways We’re getting really close to switching to flower and getting that smell I’ve been waiting for 👃🏼 Enjoy the video guys! And again any feedback would be awesome.

I'm 2 days early but here's a tent tour, still not sure about the rusty spots but I don't think it's that big a deal. I'm pretty sure lightly feeding with just the bloom booster was a good call. I'll keep doing that untill she matures out. I have spider mites ;-; good thing she is about to mature. I'm going to call 3 more weeks, might chop slightly early if I can't deal with the mites anymore, visibly affected leaves have been removed due to possible eggs

What can I say that the journal doesn't already. A massive yield for a 1ftx1ft area in my 4x4 tent. Tons of frost. Sticky as possibly can be (my scissors hate me, but love acetone today)

Day 40 flower going start taking her some nuits and see how she is in a weeks time getting close

This strain is amazing. Super frosty and the buds are rock hard. I suggest wait an extra week at the end of flower before harvest. The buds really pack on new large calyx the last week. The First smaller one yielded 3.68 oz including all the sugar leaf trim shown in the sticky note Pic. Second larger pot yielded..... I learned a lesson to use a bigger container for future grows. My smaller plant was small due to the 3gal container. My larger plant was in a 5gal and grew much better. My buds are much larger on the bigger container. I will be using minimum 7gal from now on. Smaller plant I harvested 2 weeks earlier and had 3.68oz dry. Larger plant 2 has wet weight of 630g. I pulled clones from the larger one before flower to test pure organic nutrients and soil I'm am building against advanced nutrients and happy frog soil. New diary to come in the future with the comparison.

Greetings Rastamans, as you can see my girl is getting thicker and is growing weekly. Every used fertilizers have very good results. Slowly aproaching the time of harvesting, This is evidenced by the trichomes as well as the timing of the flowering cycle. I believe that the harvest from this plant will be great. Use of the necessarry techniques at the right period of times gave me the results that you see yourselves. It is the last day of lighting. It will be in dark for 36hrs. The feed schedule of six 15 minute feeds daily continues with a 900ppm nutrient level. The HLG 650R remains at 100% output, and is hung 30" from the canopy now as I had to raise it for some taller plants in the tent. 11/10- The Strawberry Gorilla's just hit the one week mark in their flowering and the #2 definitely has the most developed flowers of the three plants, with the #1 and #3's flowers about equal in development. I'm continuing to adjust the LST wires on all three plants to try and keep as much light penetration down into the centers of the plants which has been working well. I have also removed a shade leaf here and there when necessary. 11/12- Today I drained, cleaned the reservoir and distribution bucket, then refilled the reservoir with 90L of 70℉ well water to which Plagron nutrients were added to give a 900ppm concentration, then ph'd to 5.8. All I am doing now in between drain/refills of the reservoir is adding straight water to maintain the 90L level and checking the ph. Over the course of the 7 days in between reservoir changes the ppm's will slowly drop, but will still be adequate, never dropping below 750ppm's. The plants are really doing well in this AirCube system and I'm slowly getting a better handle on its 'in's & out's'. I did also check the ppm's of the return solution to see if there was a wide variance from what was going in, and all was good with only a 50-100ppm difference. 11/14- There goes a full week of flower for the FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla's! Es ist das erste Mal, das ich Töpfe für den Outdoor grow verwende, bisher waren alle Gorilla grows und direkt in die Erde gepflanzt. Sobald die Witterung es zuläßt, sollen die Pflanzen an die frische Luft. Es ist schon eine Weile her, das der Grow losging, die Bilder sind jetzt aktuell. Tag 162: Wieder ein Hitzetag, kaum Wind. Gewitter sind angekündigt, bis jetzt gehen die im Schwarzwald und den Vogesen runter, der Rheingraben bleibt bisher trocken. Die Mädels bekommen weiterhin 3x am Tag Ihren Cocktail. Die Permanent Marker ist sauber in die Blüte gestartet und zeigt kräftiges, kontrolliertes Wachstum. Der Stretch hat vorsichtig eingesetzt, noch moderat, aber spürbar. Das Experiment mit dem zweiten SCROG-Netz wirkt bislang vielversprechend, die Triebe nivellieren sich fast von selbst auf eine Höhe. Ein paar wenige Seitentriebe wurden noch entfernt, alles im grünen Bereich. Dank Hy-Pro Spraymix stehen die Blätter sattgrün und vital bis in die Spitzen. Ab dieser Blütewoche, wird er jedoch abgesetzt. Mit einem EC von 2,2 und pH von 5,8 scheint die Nährlösung auch gut abgestimmt zu sein. Ihr Durst ist beachtlich: etwa 1,3 Liter pro Tag gehen problemlos durch. Insgesamt ein guter, vielversprechender Start in die Blüte.

Day 43 and for a plant this age they’re looking well. All other Plants looking all healthy too. Now looking into it i should of done some low stress training. Im having abit of temperature problems but its all good. The max it gets is 29 degrees Celsius.
