So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

we are entering the 8th week and the 2nd week of flowering. she is only growing minimally in height. the flowers are getting thicker. she is developing some nice little buds. she is doing really well. no parasites or diseases to be seen. in the greenhouse i have an average of 30 degrees, lowest temperature about 20 degrees and highest 40 degrees. in the video you can see a comparison with the white widow. both are the same age. i didn't use any topping or LST on the white whidow. it's crazy how big the difference is.

8.11.25 Day 105 Day 56 since 12/12 Last night I took off all the fan leave and chopped her before light on today. She smells amazing, sweet and fruity. The entire plant weights 1.25 kg. We will see how much dry weight I get.

Sweet Seeds - Spannabis 2025

Day 1-12/12/21 I put the seed in glass of water for 24hours! Day 2-13/12/21 I placed seed on paper towel! Day 4-15/12/21 seed is in soil!!! Day 6-17/12/21 seed has popped out soil!!!!

The plant is clearly entering the final stage of flowering. Buds have continued to stack and are now very dense and hard. Trichomes are predominantly cloudy, with very few still turning, indicating we are close to the harvest window. The final Overdrive feeding was applied this week. Resin production is strong and the buds are fully developed. Water uptake has slowed down noticeably, which further confirms ripening. Flushing will begin this week, with harvest planned no later than next weekend. Overall plant health is good for this late stage, with natural leaf fade setting in.

Day 65. Heavy training in progress ... All done, hopefully not many natural protectors lost, took about 30 liters bag full off leaves and shoots, could do like 100 clones easy ;))) All girls lolitoped, cleared, defoliated, rewired, some had supercroping. Skunks were happy when last Cheese was done, so i think/hope - all will go smooth. This time i really cleared them a lot, maybe the most in my career ... Cheeses performed thicker and more stacked branches . Fun is starting !!! Day 66. Got my last puzzle of protection against thrips. I think i beat them already, yesterday haven't noticed any thrips on leaves, but i am old and blind ;))) They where ordered a week ago, so just in case ... Girls look just fabulous !!! I think it will be very nice harvest by bag appeal, hopefully weight will make me smile too ;)))) I still think to strip them hard at the end of week 5 or week 6 if they will delay in progress .... At the moment they are just perfect ! Day 69. Here comes my moan ;)) Stretch was not so big as i expected, looks like 80 is more real target than 100. They look very nice and healthy and i beaten thrips , but this time i cleared too much i feel ;))))) Future will show ... Happy Growing !!!

Observations: Strong lateral branching Thick fan leaves Very strong stem development Mild funky/skunky smell even in veg I defoliated lightly around week 4 to improve airflow and flipped to flower after about 5 weeks when the canopy filled the tent. Flowering Stage – Week 1–9 Stretch during early flower was moderate — around 1.5x in height. Bud sites stacked nicely and formed dense golf-ball style flowers early on. Around week 4–5 of flower the smell became intense: Diesel Funky broccoli/skunk notes Earthy sweetness Slight garlic undertones By week 6 the trichome production really kicked in. Leaves and sugar trim became heavily frosted and resin production exceeded expectations for a casual run. The plant handled nutrients well throughout flower with only slight tip burn near peak feeding. Lower humidity during late flower helped avoid mold issues despite the dense buds. Final Results: Flower Time: ~9 weeks Yield: Around 4.5 oz dry from one plant Density: Dense and sticky Trim Difficulty: Moderate due to resin buildup Smoke Report: After a 2-week dry and roughly 3-week cure: Smooth smoke Strong nose out of the jar Funky savory terp profile Relaxing hybrid effects with a noticeable body buzz but still mentally uplifting Overall Impression: Sticky Broccoli was an easy strain to grow with solid resilience and good bag appeal. It stayed manageable indoors, produced very frosty buds, and delivered a unique terpene profile that stood out from sweeter dessert strains. Would definitely grow again, especially for anyone who likes gassy/skunky cultivars with decent yields and low maintenance.

Day 14 - She's thriving it seems so far. She's bursting with tri-leafed nodes. I've changed the environment a bit. I have not been successful cooling the room enough to bring down the VPD from 1.3kPa or so. Instead I'm approaching it from a humidity perspective. I have the threshold up to 70%RH. I'm peaking the humidity to lower the VPD to .9kPa since I can't really effectively cool the tent to the low 70's. There is a slight aroma from the seedling. The infamous skunky smell is only observable when very close to the plant. I have not been using the filter on the exhaust fan though.

The super-soil + pellets provide the backbone; the liquids fine-tune the bloom signal and energy management. (You noted solution pH ~6.3, low input EC because the medium is pre-charged, and healthy daily uptake at ~1.5–2.0 L per plant, irrigating around 19–20% substrate dryness, kept as operational context.) ⸻ Environment, Monitoring & Why It Matters • Temperature & RH: ~29.6 °C and 67% RH. That calculates to VPD ≈ 1.37 kPa (not “137”—decimal matters). • What this does: • VPD in the 1.2–1.5 kPa range drives active transpiration and nutrient flow—good for biomass and stacking. • With higher temps, plants demand steady water availability and reliable Ca/Mg delivery to avoid tip-burn or micro-deficiencies. • Risks if this persists: • In late flower, warm & humid microclimates can increase powdery mildew/Botrytis pressure inside dense colas. • Heat can push foxtailing, reduce volatile terpene retention, and increase overall plant stress. • Mitigations already in play: • Light defol to open the canopy (great call). • Strong, clean airflow in the 8×8 (dual 6″ exhausts with carbon filters + filtered intake). • TrolMaster WCS sensor guiding irrigation by moisture and watching substrate EC—keeps the rhizosphere stable. • AC unit arriving—expect a meaningful drop in day temps; aim to settle around mid-20s °C with RH mid-50s as flowers pack on. • Lighting layout: F.O.G. Black Series 600W + ThinkGrow ICL-300s + Lumatek Zeus 465W provide a broad, balanced spectrum across the room. PPFD varies by position (natural growth and fixture spread), which is fine—site-by-site variation keeps edges productive while the center stacks. As biomass increases, incremental dimming or fixture height tweaks can hold the canopy in that efficient PPFD window without overshooting. ⸻ Genetics Note (because she’s a queen) Super Silver Haze is old-school royalty—her name carries cups and history. Seeing these phenos remain compact, calm, and synchronized in early flower is a treat. It’s a reminder that legendary haze lines can deliver refined structure when the root zone, spectrum, and climate are in tune. My OG Kush is a contender for the biggest plant in the tent, tied for second place! It's got an amazing structure with perfectly spaced nodes and it's stacking up beautifully. This plant is a beast, and I'm expecting a huge yield of those classic OG Kush buds. It's got that unmistakable OG aroma – earthy and pungent with hints of citrus and spice. This one's gonna be a knockout This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!
