Hello everybody! Here we are a week later and I’m starting to see some nice improvements and developments. This week I fed all plants pretty heavily with Recharge and Dolomite Lime (and a little Cal Mag). The plants seemed to like it, the color is really coming back to a nice shade of green instead of the pale yellow’ish green and I'm starting to see nice bud sites developing! I’m going back to my normal nutrient routine this week and think it should be fairly smooth sailing from here. One negative is I seem to have inherited some bugs from my wife. She asked me to put one of her outdoor plants in the room so it would survive the winter, well it looks like that plant was infested with bugs. The little f’ers had a feast on some of the leaves. My wife gave me the OK to toss the plant, so with the plant removed it should be fairly easy to irradiate any remaining bugs with some sticky paper. I’d like to say thank you to all who answered my question regarding recommend reading on cannabis. I’m selecting the answer for the Grow Bible by Greg Green because I was actually unaware of that one. I’m familiar with the Cervantes and Rosenthal versions but not Greg Greens. I’ll be ordering that book after I receive and finish “True Living Organics” by The Rev (should be here tomorrow). This week I have a new question for my GD friends…. CO2? I have not been using CO2 but EVERY book I read recommends using it, I’m not prepared to go out and buy a CO2 tank, regulator, etc… at this time. Has anyone ever used one of those CO2 bags? Or do you have any DIY CO2 solutions you can recommend? I’m looking forward to your answers on CO2. I’ll leave you this week with another interesting excerpt from “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear: “I prefer to use high-pressure sodium lamps. With the exception of LED's, HPS lamps are the most efficient source of light you can buy, both in terms of light output and light spectrum. Having read nearly every book on the subject of growing pot, I feel that their authors tend to overemphasize the importance of light spectrum. You do not need to alternate between metal halides (for growth) and sodiums (for flowering). That is an oversimplification of the plant's light requirements. You may do this if you like--it certainly won't hurt--but I firmly believe that the gains are just not great enough to justify the cost of the extra MH lamp.” -Read Spear

Eternity Grow Cup 2025 – Plagron & Zamnesia Runtz by Zamnesia Seeds – 51 days from seed and 22 days into flowering. 🌱 Our girl is growing beautifully! One of the colas shot up around 20 cm taller than the rest, so we had to bend it down. Thanks to LST and careful pruning of branches and leaves, she’s taken on a really interesting shape. We’re planning another round of leaf defoliation soon to give her even more space to thrive. 🌿 She’s loving the Plagron nutrients, and it really shows – she looks absolutely fantastic! 🙌💚

4/9/25 This plant is beyond frosty. Stacking up super nicely. Seems like she will yeild quite a bit. My only gripe is that she has like no smell at all. Using the foil as a soil cover is working quite nicely. the top soil is getting filled with roots quite well. Top dressed 1tsp of Bloom 1tsp microbe charge 1tsp bloom

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Well i broke a branch right off Bubba Cheese cake #2 stem by slightly trying to move a 3 gal pot lol ouchie They will both need supports fyi. Anywho, I either out did myself or these are the longest trichomes I've seen. #2 is bigger n frostier. #1 smells like freaken candy...and i mean the good colors you save for last lol. #2 is more muted but creamier and maybe hopefully some cheese. Increased exaust fan speed, Increased oscillating fan speed. Reduced lights to 11/13. Adjusted far red, adjusted morning to come on later at night and turned off the heat mat (yes i had a heat mat lol). That should hopefully bring out any colors but it seems this one may stay green af. Another grower is going to week 20 i think in flower and still no color change....in my experience that means this wont taste anything like earthy wood anthocyanins.

Day 84 Week 6 flowering

Last week was pretty stable. The buds are steadily fattening up, just how we like it. They all got burned leave tips, I think it has to do with too little runoff, because I’m using GHE’s flora hydro schedule on exactly half strength. Its not getting worse over the last days so its probably not a big deal. Like I said last week, I have a dehumidifier now. I got it hooked up to one of the air holes on the bottom. My sonoff temperature and humidity sensor checks when it goes over 65% rh, and fires on the dehumidifier whenever needed to blow difrectly in the tent. I do wonder if I could save on electricity to get a stronger exhaust fan. Because the humidity outside the tent is low enough, so more air circulation could fix the humidity issue without actively dehumidifying I think. I’ve been eyeing on the Apogee SQ-102 PAR meter. Its not perfect for led light but it does give a pretty good idea about the amount of light hitting the plants. I’d like to get a better idea of the optimal distance between plants and light. Especially since i ran into loads of light burn issues in this grow and past grows.

Scrog baby Test läuft gut. Die Marshydro hat 10 Watt mehr deshalb wird sie aber nicht gedimmt. Da die SANlight bessere Ausleuchtungen haben für die Pflanzen.

the photos are all of NL#1 because that plant has all of the attention. it got transplanted, i know "dont transplant an auto".. kill me for it. anyway.. that was a HORRIBLE!!!! Experience and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND not doing this if you have no clue what you are doing. I almost lost a Plant... why was i transplanting in the first place? well first of all as a new grower what did i do? I over Fed the plants 😆.. and they were not happy. i tried flushing but that made it worse so i needed to add new soil to hopefully dilute some of the nutes. The transplant from a 5 gallon bucket was not and will never be a task for one person to do alone. some roots got ripped she got banged around a but then the entire plant went droopy and it was like hell trying to get it to stand again. NL#2 is doing okay just a flush and it is doing fine i hope.
