Started this week off strong. Decided to switch out the extra Grow Big for extra Tiger Bloom since it’s a lower concentration on N and higher P. New growth is a good color and no tip burning. Raised the lights and turned them up to 100% for the rest of flower. Sour Kush is starting to stink up the tent! NCH is looking like she wants to finish soon, but buds haven’t fattened up and trichomes are still a mixture of clear/milky. Feed pH 6.2, EC 1.8. Water pH 6.3, EC 0.8.

Looks like I'm going to be satisfied with the autos and the photos their coming along fine very nicely. I super cropped the one outside and that's turning out fantastic

Disaster struck. Lost a whole main cola on Blueberry. My best forensic investigation of the crime scene has determined that one of the many squirrels in my backyard jumped from an overhang. So upset but the rest of it looks happy KT1 getting very frosty and smelling great. OG tall as ever, into flower but taking her sweet time. Late summer has brought cool temps to Southern Ontario and they seem to like it Thanks for looking - happy growing

i was on holiday for 14 days and left the plant to its own (AUTOPOT takes care of that) and when i came home i was amazed. it tolerated the topping very well and is now twice as tall as it was two weeks ago. i topped it again straight away. so 4 times in total this time. if it continues to grow like this, it will be a monster in october. a few leaves are already bigger than my hand. unfortunately i broke one stem with light LST, which is why i'm not using the LST after all. i hope it recovers from the injury. 😵💪

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Sooo, about three and a half weeks have passed since the last update - she should be around week 3.5 of flowering by now, and goddamn, I’m stunned, bro. I had some medical PM a few months ago, and the smell already reminds me so much of it. It’s also the stickiest stuff I’ve grown so far, and she’s not even halfway through flowering yet.

Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

Day 74. Girls is down. Chopped her way too early, but loads of milky and I need more space !!!! ;)) Thank You FastBuds for wonderful strain again !!! I'll nail her this year outdoors I guess ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Preflowering, maximizing the sizes

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

Day 84 - She is growing very well the buds are getting fat and dense. Buds are frosty and are everywhere.

Day 57 Day 14 Flower Done a big feed for start of week. Using 3ml not the recommended 4ml per ltr of base nutes. And using rec 2ml per added nute per ltr. She is initiating her stretch now, looking so happy and healthy, so this is 5/5 of the terp tree seeds. 2nd one to make it to flower. Very strong plant I'm happy 🙌💚 Day 58 Day 15 Flower Updated pictures today, how many tops?!? 🤣 Holy cow. No topping just LST and trying to mainline. Now I see the results on the tops already in start of flower, by doing this method I see it focuses more energy and effort from the plant to be directed to the tops after mainlining / lollipopping. If not over stressed they flipping thrive it's incredible. She is throwing out fat new growth, nodes are forming so nicely and she's about to pop 💪💚 Day 60 Day 17 Flower 27/05/24 Water today with calmag. Stretch is savage on her 😍 Day 63 Day 20 flower. 30/05/24 Again water with calmag today. pH 6.43

Well, that day has come, the girl would have been really different if not for the high temperature, strong light, and a huge lack of potassium :( well, everything will be fine next time :) live and learn :) I am satisfied with the result, which is what I need :) got 200 gr of liquid :) gathered a lot of sugar leaf :) they are already in the sweet shop :D I will make an addition!! good growth and success :)

Maybe next time i will do better, but what a beautiful plant 😻😘

5/31 Week 10 and the state of the grow is winding up I know Baba looks like hell, her buds are in danger of breaking some of the branches so I have everything kind of falling in on itself supported by bamboo. Harvest Sally and Athena yesterday leaving only Jane Baba and Cleo (my wife's) in the tent so turning down the lights a bit they are getting plenty Water only not much to do till harvest 6/3 Just nothing going on, giving them water Baba seems done now little further hair growth or bulking, harvest in a day or so, real busy with other projects so no promises 6/4 Yield from Sally and Athena wet - 650 grams dry - 151 grams about 5 oz, so with Baba still left to harvest looks like we good for an holiday season grow of this strain next winter. Cannot believe how thick the trics are on these two and the one left is even more frosty. Baba harvest tomorrow not sure about the twin 6/5 Harvest day for Baba only Jane remains Baba wet - 533 grams Running totals so far : Wet - 1188 grams Dry - 151 grams (expect to double this) Looks like we almost matched our numbers on the first two plants as expected. Prob a good 10 ounces on the grow not great but a good grow none the less with 8 months of medicine so this strain is on the schedule for November.
