Well here we are at roughly 5 weeks of flower and I'm very pleased with the progress so far. The buds are stacking up better than I expected and the trichome production is on overdrive. I'm alternating the worm casting concertante every other watering and upped the Humboldt's Secret Calcium + Iron to yes 15 ml's every watering. This particular pheno to which I don't know how many there is has a big appetite for calcium and magnesium even iron. I'm using hydroguard root inoculate to aid in soil microbe activity and nutrient uptake. She seems to love the simplicity of how I'm doing this grow. Super charged Ocean Forest with Happy frog all purpose organic 6-4-5. This is my first Sweet Seeds genetic and if all are strong like the Gorilla Girl F1 I'm sold completely . Shes on the last strech ..suppose to be 55 days dat would give her around 10 more days ..the buds are getting significantly bigger and bigger every day but will see wat the trichomes says might go longer then 55 days of flower

Week 5 starts Monday...

I’m starting to see amber trichs on the lower sugar leaves but none on the buds. She can’t be far away now. Next feed will be molasses and then plain water after that. Happy growing.

Shes doing great during this flowering stage and she is in around the last few weeks before harvest! She is very much full of flowers looks great to me and she smells great as well still needs to fatten up a bit! But super ex

96 días desde la germinacion. 47 días de floración. Ya estamos entrando a las semanas finales de cultivo y las flores van engordando a buen ritmo. Finalmente, en mayor o menor medida, todas las plantas sufrieron de sobre fertilización y veo 2 factores responsables de esto; 1. me excedí en la cantidad de guano de murciélago (alto en fósforo) con el que fertilice el sustrato y 2. en la mitad de la floración se estropearon mis 2 herramientas de medida, el medidor de EC y PH, al calibrarlos el otro día me percate, y como estamos en cuarentena se me hace complicado adquirir nuevos medidores por lo que suspendí los riegos con abono y he estado regando solo con enzimas y Flawless Finish, voy a seguir así hasta finalizar el cultivo. Debo tener ojo con los hongos, donde vivo hay una humedad muy alta que no baja de 60% e incluso ha llegado (según mi termohigrómetro) a 96%. Eso, feliz cultivo a todxs. 👊

Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

Day 21 BLOOM STAGE At day 18 I had switch my light in 15/9 and in the 19 day I switch at 12/12. At day 19 I had do a little flushing and at day 21 I start with nutrients for bloom. The Twins are very strong and grow very hard I'm happy for this. Tomorrow I put pictures with light off because these are not nice. DAY 23 VIDEO Now we are in the middle of first week of bloom. I have notice that one plant has leafs like sativa and the other one indica. What do you thing about this? they are two differemnt pheno??? D19 (10/12/2020): Beginning of week 3. I saw little yellow/brown spot on big leaves and new leaves, I need to check this closely. I fed with half of the recommended dose but 1.5-1.75L of water per plant. I was giving 1L max and I think it was not enough for the size of my pots. RH of the grow tent is now down at 60%. - temps: 26C - water: PH6.3, PPM: 410 - RH: 60% D20 (11/12/2020): Today I saw thrips larva crawling on a leaf (see video above). That confirm my problem is not a nutrients deficiency. I know how I got them and it's a rookie mistake from me. At the beginning of my grows, I placed a plant in my tent that was originally outdoor during fall. I did not think that it would be infested with bugs. I removed it when I saw a little bugs fly in my tent but the damage was probably already done. I read about thrips and you can get rid of them if you act fast and soon in the infestation. I will go to my local horticulture store today and ask advices and ways to exterminated them. I'm a newbie in growing cannabis (plants in general) and I want the best for my plants. I'm learning from my mistake and that's what I like! Overall, both plants are growing fast and they react really well to LST. I readjust the tie 2-3x a day because the small leaves are growing so fast! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 60% D21 (12/12/2020): I bought insecticidal soap and gave a treatment. RH is now at 55% and that increases air flow. -temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D22 (13/12/2020): The lamp is now 100% and at 28inch form the plants. They received 430 PPFD (33 000 lux). Temperature is under control around 26C with a new oscillating fan place on the floor. This air flow will help against bugs. LST continue every day to expose new leaves. I gave water with only Max Minerals. - temp: 26.5C - water: PH6.4, PPM: 275, approx.: 1,75L per plant - RH: 55% D23 (14/12/2020): LST continue, I try to bend one branch every day and readjust the other ones. I did not see more bugs but some of the new leaves are affected so I know they are still there. I ordered nematodes to help me prevent new larvae. They are suppose to arrive in two days. - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D24 (15/12/2020): I removed leaves at the bottom of the pants last night. Probably 3-4 leaves per plant that were not receiving light. This morning I can see that it gave a good boost on the new leaves! Continuing LST as usual. The nematodes arrived earlier then expected. I will apply them tonight as soon as the lights turn on! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 54% D25 (16/12/2020): I did a lot today! First, I sprayed another treatment of insecticidal soap on all my plants. Second, I removed one inch of soil in each pot and replaced it with new soil (same soil). I saw sign of what I think is phosphate deficiency. I was really shy on nutrients since beginning of the grow. Third, I fed full recommended dose for week 3 of veg. I gave 1.5L of water with nutrients and approx. 0.5L of tap water when I placed the nematodes. Fourth, I placed one tea pouch of nematodes in each pot as recommended. I also opened 2 tea pouch of nematodes and sprinkled them over the soil of all plants. Finally, I continued LST. It was a big week of up and down. Both plants grew like crazy and I discover an infestation. I think Banana Kush is in pre flower but I'm not sure. It's a bit early but they got so much stressed this week. -temp: 26C -water: PH6.5, PPM: 725 -RH: 55%

Week 7 and 8 in the bag. One more light feed then the flush. Fall colors are coming in nicely and they are starting to purple up. They seem to have wanted a bit more water this week, had one plant start to droop before the watering but everyone perked up. Last dose of Great White microbes this week as well.

Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.
