Week 7 is finished, end is near. This one seems to be finishing up with only a week or two left. Some fade has started and this GG#4 is really colourful! A few nanners have popped up, must be genetics but not to sure what I did to cause them to come out, more than likely to much light. I dimmed the light regardless as the leaves on the tallest cola in the tent were showing signs of stress. So yeah, nanners, probably light stress. Fungus gnats are bugging me for sure, but the plants seem fine. Need to get them under control after this run. Lights are at 20” dimmed to around 65%, hopefully for a measurement of about 650 ppfd. They were at 75%, but plants were showing signs of stress so I dimmed them. Just watering using tap water, not ph’d, through drip on a timer. I drink my water straight from the tap, ph is around 7, and less than 15ppm, good for me, good for my plants. Water is aerated in a 30 gallon reservoir. Hand water once a week with Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17. Light still breaking through canopy in spots. Lots of leaves, but not much bud sites below. No need to remove big leaves yet. when I came today, I didn't recognize her, she was eaten by snails, but she put out new branches, which grew rapidly :) she is already showing signs of rain :) or it is already the beginning of flowering:).

The size isn't awesome, but the high ammount of buds full of crystals plus the strong sweet aroma makes them awesome. Buds are growing and fattenning very very well. This week i added a boost of HomeMade CO2, i never measured the results of this invention so i can't give CO2 measurements. This method is widely used in home aquariums and there is where it comes from. For those interested i'm going to write here more detailed instructions. The 4 liters i've made will last for about 2 weeks. ---NEEDINGS--- - 250 ml Bottle - 6~10 l Bottle - 400 g Sugar / l water - 1 Envelope of organic baker's yeast / l water (CHEMICAL WILL NOT WORK) - 3 mid plastic tubes 40~50 cm - 1 short plastic tube 5~6 cm - 4 tube adapters - Hot glue to seal adapters The process of creating CO2 is simple, mix water, organic yeast and sugar in a bottle, and the sugar will free CO2 in the process of fermenting to alcohol due to the yeast. 1. Make a hole in the center of the big bottle cap, insert an adapter and secure it with hot glue 2. Make 3 holes in the small bottle cap and glue the other 3 adapters 3. Link both caps with one of the mid tubes and insert the other tubes on free adapters 4. Insert a short tube in the bottom of the small cap in the adapter that came from the big cap 5. such an beautyful strain! the colors are really outstanding and the scent is incredible! loads of resin production on this one, not the highest yield but insane quality!

So this week has really absolutely crawled by from my perspective, I imagine it is common with growing that the closer you get to harvest the further away it seems. Anyway I am a bit worried about the middle sized plant - she has a lot more yellowing of fan leaves from the inside out. My reaction to this was to flush her with clean water, my thinking is that everything was fine before I started feeding, and perhaps I didn't mix properly and the soluble stuff was unevenly distributed. That was yesterday (week 6 day 4) It's too soon to tell if this has helped, fingers crossed it doesn't begin to affect other leaves. Despite this being only 5 days into week 6, there have already been fairly drastic changes. Some of the buds are starting to fatten more, and I'd say we're at about 15% pistils amber now, the smell has noticeably increased day by day. It's really beautiful to look the plants in the dark with a flashlight or phone light, the way the light bounces off the frosting of trichomes, as if someone had sneaked in the middle of the night and misted my plants with a million tiny diamonds. I think I will stop feeding the middle plant now and water only (unless it gets worse). The other two I will continue to feed until the end of this week. At the rate of accelerated change I suspect harvest time may not be too long past the end of next week. It's a shame they don't have much more time to grow but at least what small quantity does come from them, I am determined it is harvested at the right time. At the end of week six I have watered only as I now think these plants are maybe 7-12 days away from harvest.

Day 71. Flushed this week. Could harvest already but will give her 1 more week.

Had to squish most of the plants together and defoil heavily to make space for the impatient one. Adjusted the daily water intake by a litre as to not suffocate the auto, kept the same feeding schedule otherwise

It was a great adventure that started with 23 plants and ended up with only 2. Slow growing and low yield.
