Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. At the end of week 6 the buds are bulking up and the trichomes are going milky with red hairs pulling in will wait for more amber trichs before harvest which I anticipate around week 8-10.

This is my first coloured cannabis strain and this red critical Autoflower from BSF seeds is an amazing strian. The smell of the buds is so fruity. Cant wait to harvest this red plant.

1/19: Not much to report today. Got a good look at lemon autos trichomes under a digital microscope. I guess this is just another week of saying "one more week" 😂 1/22: gave lemon auto a good pH balanced water flush, northern lights got some bloom nutrients to help those buds do their thing. Trichomes look mostly cloudy- a few amber on the sugar leaves which means it's only a matter of time! 1/24: lemon auto update: trichomes on some outer buds are amber! Main cold nug looks like it's about 100% cloudy trichomes. Will evaluate tomorrow for possible harvest?!

From the looks of my top of the coco it seems like I was over watering. I seem a bit of algae growth, my coco stay moist for 4-5 days it seem like. So should my nute feeding be huge or give them small daily feeding in between the large watering?

Day 64 - beastmode - ripening time a. this plant is huge, drinking 7L a day, almost 8 b. the buds are like rocks, so dense, ive never felt stems this rigid c. keeping her nutrients up high by changing DWC out to Ripen blend, and the PH at 6.0 - it is this plants favourite in DWC d. will ripening these for 2 weeks, then flush and harvest, trichomes are 50/50 clear milky, pistils are just starting to turn pink e. all of the big main colas have been tied back because they are huge Day 65 - explosions a. calyxes are exploding all over the buds b. buds are covered in resin, it was the perfect time to start the ripening process c. she is drinking 7L of ripening formula a day, the buds are rock hard, I had to tie them all back further d. I think we have about 3 more weeks to go! 2 ripening, 1 flush! Day 66 - buds are still swelling up a. the pistils are beginning to turn pink, some of the tips, 1/2mm are orange b. drinking 6-7L a day still Day 67 - monster a. the buds are covered in crystals, the trichome heads are 50% clear still b. the pistils are just starting to turn a little orange 1mm tip of pistil is orange Day 68 - maturing nicely a. the buds are very fragrant and floral, alot like pineapple express b. she is drinking 6L a day right now, ripening blend at 1500ppm Day 69 - buds are rocks a. these buds keep growing! they are very hard, and very sweet smelling b. there is oily sticky resin all over the place c. if you ever want to grow big fat buds like this, and all my plants use Ripen! Day 70 - growing very well! a. will be reducing the light next week to 8 hours off and 16 hours on, the following week 12/12 this will allow the buds to mature properly b. adding some plain PH 6.0 water to start slowly dropping PPMs

It's time to harvest the crops, today was the day of the first Green Crack F1 Hybrid Automatic by Zamnesia. ** Remember that for all strains we have at least two plants, one left to grow straight and one worked with the techniques. Technique Used // In this case we see the plant worked with the MAINLINING technique: we waited for the third internode and did TOPPING (you can also do it at the second to lengthen the vegetative phase in autoflowering plants, it's better); from this topping a MAINFOLDING was carried out by cleaning everything that was underneath in the underlying internodes and leaving only the two mini branches growing as a result of the first topping, the Mainfold precisely. We stole the two branches with the arches up to the third internode of each respective branch and we did TOPPING once again, from here the plant was left to grow directing it with LST as best we could. Better with the techniques or normal? It is a plant with a medium-low distance between internodes, this technique is not recommended, the plant is not very big but it has produced well anyway, let's wait to compare the results with the one without techniques but it is very big, the other one, in this case I tend towards the straight solution. Look instead at the Ghost Train Haze for example which has a wide distance between internodes, what did it do to me... immense. This is obviously not week one. I had this Power Africa clone in the corner of my mother tent under some weak CFL lights, i transplanted it A week or two ago. I have no definite plans for this plant but I decided to HST her today, i'll see what happens over the next couple weeks. I do intend to turn the harvest into hash, so 100 grams would do fine.

Got the girls into there flowering tent and there 5 gal RDWC system under a 1000w HPS on a light rail mover. We are flipping them now because these DWC systems produce massive plants. We are going to tuck through the stretch until they stop this time and try and keep them as low as possible. I’ve grown this strain before a few times and ran a couple clone runs of it as well, so I think I know what to expect hopefully. Lol this is a spectacular strain from an A+ breeder(Canuk Seeds) and I can’t wait to smoke her again! One of those tried tested and true strains for me...lol I will also be keeping the light at max height and punching them with 1000w rite from the get go instead of lowering the wattage and trying to get the light closer to try and conserve power. I get a better light spread at 1000w 3 feet away and don’t have to move my light as much to cover the roughly 4x6 foot space of the tent I will be flowing in. The last 2 feet of the tent are reservoir and air conditioner. I don’t want the cold air to close to my plants so I try to keep a buffer zone. I will be adding a cardboard wall I think across blocking the air conditioners direct air output and blow it across the tent with my oscillation fan instead. I also have my second water cooled thermoelectric reservoir water chiller built now and I will be installing it in this reservoir as soon as I get a chance. I’m making a how to DIY video for it so it’s taking a bit longer to build and install as I’m trying to document the entire process. So probably next week I will have it installed and running for the weekly update and I’ll post some links to the DIY video as well if I have it up yet. Couple weeks ago I over nute’d them and ended up with nitrogen abundance so I countered that last week with a very low EC at 0.2 and the rebounded quick, so quick they went the opposite and I had nitrogen deficiency within the week. Lol so they are now in there new homes and sitting in 0.75 EC water with 6.0ph and they are coming around now. Well that’s it for this week folks, Cheers! 💨
