Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. next time i have to veg more then 4 weeks to increase yield. it finishes quickly and big yield for the short veg time. im also very happy with the optic 4 wich made the buds dense from top to bottom. i might upgrade to cocos or hydro next grow, or maybe both ;)

Just started to pre flower and starting to form its structure

This week i made a plan for the plants feeding. For start gave a small portion of nutrients like 1/4 from the suggested to see the reaction of the plants. Day 21: fim one plant (the plant referred as cotyledons now is going to be mentioned as fim).In a few days will top the other one.

Monday 12/12 - week 3 bloom begins, light height is 14” from canopy but only 6” from main colas - small plants is far far behind in height now sadly don’t think it will catch up now Tuesday 13/12 - heavy defoliation on the 3 large plants - light defoliation on the small one - raised the SCRoG and moved sites around to space them out - cleared some small and stringy sites from the bushy back right plant

I’m loving the Trichome development on this, Nana glue! Probably got a couple more weeks on her .im Definitely a couple weeks plus on the Hindu.

Feb. 17 Ph 7.5 Moist - plucked all the bad leaves that were ready - Removed all the dead leaves - 3 gal of water ph of 6.4 + 15 ml big bloom + 20 ml tiger bloom + 9ml apple cider vinegar + 30ml blackstrap molasses unsulphured - Light burn seems to be the #1 problem, then ph fluctuations and nutrient burn - I think i held the measuring cup a little awkward most feedings instead of having it on a level surface and I probably overfed by 5ml each time - Most of the bottom leaves are green but have burnt tips, they are usually pretty attached - the middle section has lots of dead leaves but they are tiny little ones that have burnt and fallen off - the top leaves are all yellow on plant 1, with burnt tips, clawing up, very red stems, and are fairly easy to pluck off, not much effort on most - the most green areas are semi-shaded and off on the edges of the tent, and all the shaded areas remained green - Therefore, I would say my #1 problem was light burn, which made the ph fluctuations worse, nutrient deficiencies worse, and i over compensated and did not measure precisely causing nutrient burn - there is also some wind burn on the bottom areas - all in all the buds are developing nicely and bulking up decent amounts on plant 1, especially with all the topping - good trichomes coming out - plant 2 has different light burn but the leaves are praying up, and pointing up much more, more rusting also but they are not easy at all to pull off - the buds on plant 2 are also not growing nearly as well but the trichomes seem nicer and it seems to have more - the buds hopefully are more dense despite being small, they do look compact though - roughly 100 bud sites visible from the top of the canopy feb. 18 - ph. 7.2 - the clawing up and yellowing and burning of the tips has continued, likely past problems continuing to persist - these problems really only exist on the top set of leaves, which always brings me back to light burn - plucked another 10-15 clawed and burnt leaves from plant 1 - the buds got bigger, and the trichomes continue to pack on - seeing more promising growth/ recovery from plant 2 - trichomes appear to be quite clear, no signs of amber - The crop king seeds guide suggests 8 weeks of flowering time, we are a couple days into week 7 right now but the pistils are still about 60% white and somewhat straight, and the trichomes are quite clear. This would lead me to believe about 2 full weeks is left and likely closer to 2.5 weeks. - Trying to plan out my flush, leaving me a full 7-10 days to have the plants finish their nutrients, that flush would best occur at the mid point next week - I am expecting the trichomes to be cloudy by mid week 8, around feb. 25, I would flush them, and look to harvest 7-10 days later, around mar. 4-8 feb. 19 - ph 6.8 - moist - definitely bulked up more, plant 2 is back and growing strong, damage on top canopy continues to burn and curl, yellowing a growing splotchy brown spots, but I am very confident that this is past damage from light burn which has since been fixed by dropping the watts down by 140 - more pistils are going orange feb. 20 - buds fatting up really nice Feb. 21 - Daytime temps reduced to low 70s feb.22 - ph. 7.5 - moist - will water tomorrow - trichomes not yet fully cloudy - mostly orange pistils - mostly curled inward pistils, lower down popcorn still white and straight - excellent trichomes on plant 2 - will feed tomorrow then I expect the next thing will be to flush so this will likely be the last feed - daytime temps now 70-77 - nightime 65 +/-1F feb. 23 - plants look very thirsty, leave shriveling from before but hanging down and not perky at all - Dirt is very dry, moisture meter reads moist 5/10 - Ph: 7.6 - The plant is very hungry - Some noticeable stretching or just more visible now - Buds look to continue getting fatter and look really nice - 4 gal of water ph = + 22ml of big bloom + 30ml of tiger bloom + 30ml of blackstrap molasses + 9ml of apple cider vinegar - plucked more super dead leaves - Expected dates: - feb. 25 (week 8) - expected cloudy trichomes: - feb. 25 (week 8) - expected flush date: - feb. 25 - expected harvest date - mar. 4-8 Specifications:😎👇 Seeds: - 2x White Widow feminized seeds from Crop King Seed Tent: - 4x4x6 Mammoth Grow tent LED: - 2x Spider Farmer SF1000 LED for veg - 4x Spider Farmer SF1000 LED for flower (190 watts - 50-40-50-50 back left, back right, front left, front right) Pots: - 2x 0.5 L starter pots - 2x 5 gal smart pots after transplant Soil: - Pro-mix containing mycorrhizae and perlite, used for starter pots and mixed at roughly 1:3 ratio with Ocean Forest - Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, used in the 5 gallon pots and mixed with roughly 3:1 ratio with pro-mix - note: pro mix was mixed thoroughly with ocean forest in the 5 gal pot, then pro-mix was used on the top layer, in and around where the transplant will be to help the early veg stage avoid getting too "hot" via nutrients. Hey growmies! This is always amongst my favorite weeks of growing, week 4 of flower. The stretching stops and our flowers start the long, beautiful process of fattening up! throughout this week I kept pulling off fan leaves, I know it's controversial with autoflowers, but this girl is big and has a lot of fan leaves. I started using my PK booster this week, lil buds are getting stickier and fatter every day, check out the timelapse! If this flower finishes nicely then the competition is already a W for me, since we would be looking at a decent harvest and weed is a great reward in itself! hope to see you next week

Fast bud unknown mix 3 coming along nicely with some fat colas forming gonna be a nice Christmas this year thanks to the fast bud collection on the go. Happy growing

WEEK 2 FLOWER ⭐️NUTRIENTS USED ⭐️ Front Row AG Si .5ml per gallon Front Row AG Part A 3.3g per gallon Front Row AG Part B 2.2g per gallon Front Row AG Phoszyme .4g per gallon Front Row AG Bloom 2.6g per gallon Front Row AG Triologic 1ml per gallon Front Row AG CleanUp .2g per gallon This week the whole slate of Front Row AG nutrients are used. For my first experience using salt type nutrient, everything seems to be going well. No deficiencies and no signs of stress. Mixing is super easy and everything dissolves 100%. My lights were gradually raised by 5-10% every day until 100%. Beginning the week PPFD was almost 1000, now it is almost 1500 PPFD. To supplement all of the light these plants will get, high doses of CO2 are given during daylight hours. The room stays at 1500ppm at a minimum. By weeks end everything under the net will be stripped and the canopy thinned of all large fan leaves. One big stressful event, so the rest of flower the plants can be left alone to bloom. It’s best to do it once IMO. I believe things are right on track. Calyxes are already starting to form on all of the plants and things will only get better from here. Chopped on day 76 from when it was planted into soil. It was always scraggly and would remind me of the gimp hand dude in scary movie 2. It pushed along. It's aesthetically pleasing and a smooth smoke but I won't be growing it again. Not a fan of the high or anything else. Will sit on the shelves in grove bags until smashed into concentrate. I ended up with roughly 42 grams dry weight.

I will not liar, 😁, I was hoping for bigger buds. but everything is fine (what a lie😆). On the next round I will try to do my best and have a big yield. Anyway, the smell is very strong. This is my 2 round, i was upset, but i will try to dont push me so hard. It's your fault who keep posting photos of plants with giant buds. Then I keep thinking that it's not that difficult. 😂😂😂

Hello This is the final look at these fine girls before harvest. The buds are heavy and are leaning towards the floor. Found 1 bud with bud rot and it was cut out and tossed

Went from lights out for 3 days started to bloom the clones then had to get them right and we'll here we go again lost 5 but welcome to the north east ✌️

Day 64 - The start of week 10 and decided against defoliating and just tucked all the leaves in the middle instead. I’ll still pluck some here and there when needed. Buds are getting nice and fat and still has some decent time to fatten up even more. Day 65 - Ended up having to give her 2 gallons of water today, she’s starting to drink a lot. Buds are still fattening up nicely and smell is strong as hell. Day 67 - Not much happening, just watering/feeding when she needs it and doing a little light defoliating every couple of days. She should be ready for water tomorrow. Day 68 - All still good and she was ready for water and nutes so she got 2 full gallons today. This might be her last actual feeding of nutes before starting to flush but I’ll see how she is over the next week or so. Day 69 - Just some updated pics for the day, nothing new happening. Waiting for the pistils to start dying off but no real sign of that yet. Day 70 - Ending week 10 today and she’s got some fat and stinky buds. Haven’t really started looking at trichs since all her pistils are still bright white and healthy. Hopefully she’ll start winding down here in the next couple of weeks.
