A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

Things are really starting to smell strong and getting fun. Seeing some frosty Trichomes. Excited!

A huge flush was due with the ladies maturing. I noticed large swell after this, and kinda confirms they were a bit shocked from over nutes previously. Ive got the temp nailed down with better HVAC system in the ol garage. Again, its winter....some challenges hahaha.

Una settimana e qualche giorno sono passati, finalmente anche questa ragazza ha buttato le radici in acqua e sta crescendo molto rapidamente, speriamo che nel giro di una settimana sia più o meno grande quanto la sorella e che sia un minimo pronta per essere mandata in fioritura, l acqua verrà cambiata tra circa una settimana per adesso ho aggiunto solo un po di cleance per tenere le radici pulite, per il resto sembra tutto ok, apparte un po di variazioni del ph, ma sono cose normali in Hydro penso.. Dai ci vediamo alla prossima settimana e come sempre ringrazio Terra Aquatica per i nutrienti fenomenali e la loro fiducia, Mars hydro per l attrezzature professionali e Anesia seeds per la genetica davvero che promette molto bene! Guten Morgen Freunde, wir befinden uns am Ende der Woche 3. Morgen beginnt Woche 4, die Pflanzen entwickeln sich prächtig und reagieren top auf mein LST Training. Ich gieße ca alle 4-5 Tage mit 650ml wasser, den EC Wert passe ich auf ca 950ms/cm an und den PH Wert regle ich auf ca 6.0-6.3. Die lichtleistung liegt bei 450umol/m²/s. Ich wünsche allen einen schönen Sonntag und bis nächste Woche :D

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Went into this week just using mute from fox farm ocean then began nutrients due to deficiencies, getting in under control but overall doing well also started 3 new plants going to start a diary for them soon

Another nice, trouble free week. She has responded well to the ramp up in nutes and is looking good now she's been defoliated (again!). Seriously girl would turn into a hedge if left to her own devices. Having to really keep an eye on the humidity and empty the dehumidifier twice a day but it's doing it's job so...... can't complain! This whole week I watering with only ph corrected water to flush them and get rid of all deficiency/excess of nuts. And seems its helping. After this flush, Ill continue with nuts for last stage of flowering, I think for a week, then flushing again before harvest. Separate nuts schedule and dosage for NL girl, also wont be using on plants thats close to harvest. OG will be ready to harvest at the end of the week for sure so Ill post harvest week😉 Amnesia and Blueberry strains needs few more days, Ill check trichomes daily with digital microscope. Northern Lights is still in pre flowering stage, so I think Ill finish her with my next grow. Going to be a long run 😆 Alaskan Purple will be ready in week 13 or 14 I guess. Heidi is fine. She grew 4cm the last few days and is now taller than Simone, her elder cousine. Though she germinated days after Susi, she is about twice as big her her.
