Going into this week the girls are now reeking of dank so loud the neighbor was asking when it's going to be ready. 😂 Buds are getting nice and dense and I've got excellent node spacing for this cultivar. Can't wait till she is ready.

Hey growmies, Stretching and pre flowering, added deep red lights from Mars Hydro, unfortunately I'm fighting with 70% RH during night and 60% day, maybe I will buy a room dehumidifier...

Tiny bud sites are forming all over the place now, and I’m really excited to see how the flowers will stack up over the next couple of weeks. The plants are still looking a bit limey, so the colour isn’t quite where I’d like it to be yet — but they’re clearly moving in the right direction and putting energy into the right places. My approach from here is to stay patient and not overreact: keep the environment stable, continue with mild, consistent feeding, monitor the new growth closely, and avoid making too many changes at once. At this stage, I think a calm and steady hand makes more sense than chasing perfection. If the fresh growth improves and the bud sites keep developing, I’ll be happy. 📆 Semana 9 El cultivo entra de lleno en la fase de maduración avanzada, con los cogollos ya prácticamente formados, muy compactos y pesados, sin apenas cambios estructurales más allá del endurecimiento final. Se aprecia un leve foxtailing en algunas puntas, algo sutil y propio de esta fase bajo alta intensidad lumínica, sin afectar a la calidad ni a la densidad general de las flores. La resina sigue en aumento y alcanza niveles muy altos, cubriendo por completo flores y hojas cercanas. Los tricomas se mantienen mayoritariamente lechosos, con una presencia de ámbar aún moderada, señal de que la planta está cerca de su punto óptimo pero todavía afinando. El aroma se intensifica aún más dentro del armario, volviéndose más profundo, denso y definido, consolidando esas notas dulces y cremosas que ya dominan el perfil. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Hi everybody this germination week went great very excited to see how she is .she looks very happy and healthy normally I start them with nothing except for a bit of cal Mag .for the first week then I move on to about 250 parts per million . But I have noticed with these newer genetics that there are a lot hungrier. So I started it off with 350 parts per million . And it seems to be doing great . Thank you for looking at the diary we'll be an update every week and always keep in mind it's 420 somewhere 🌱👍

02/09/22 changed nutrient water PH 5.93 TDS 890. Gave 2 quarts recharge. Will give foliar feeding at lights out. 02/10/22 PH 6.15 TDS 863. Removed a couple small suckers. 02/11/22 Ph 6.19 TDS 920 02/12/22 PH 6.22 TDS 924 02/13/22 PH 6.15 TDS 916 gave 2 quarts recharge. will give foliar feeding tonight at lights out. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved.
