Week 18: Oasis Project Update Everything is moving along steadily with the Durban Poison quartet. The canopy management continues to be a priority, and the plants are responding well to the trellis setup, staying lush and vibrant as they continue their vegetative growth. The deck infrastructure is fully optimized. The sprinkler manifold and timer are installed and have been put through a successful test run, ensuring the garden remains consistently hydrated. Along with the photoperiods, the new relay batch of autoflowers, the marigolds, and the strawberry "security team" are all thriving under the current care routine. The garden is looking strong, and I feel confident about the current setup for the coming days.

Everything is going good, this week covers from Dec.4 to the 11th. The plants had a major accident due to me not securing the light and not realizing my kids slamming the fridge would knock it free of the stand, leaves were burnt by led light but luckily the plants were praying and it just burnt the tips of the First Single leaves.

For our Zamnesia girls It's time to work some magic, since October 1st we are in flowering, the plants have vegetated for exactly 4 weeks, a single top was done on some, others are growing straight, some clones here and there still in veg. This is a very good test nice color nice all is going very good. There was a moment of difficulties but now is going very good, this is the last week of veg, going in bloom! --- Technique chosen (depending on the characteristics of the plant) - The plants are not doing very well when it's like this I decide to search for the miracle; on one I did a topping and cleaned a lot and left it in veg, the other went just a little cleaned straight into flowering. --- Feeding Program - The fertilizers are always Plagron and I am following the table that I generated on the site depending on the substrate chosen. Days 9 or 10 - I think. I somehow managed to loose track despite having this journal and spreadsheet. Eish. Its top city in this tent. Managed to get things pretty even. I will stop tucking weaving today and let the vertical growth do its thing for the rest of stretch. Dehumidifier is in use now and inline filters. Things start getting exciting now! 👽

The daily watering routine for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF continues with 10g of straight well water from the garden hose given at sundown daily with the exception of when we get substantial rain. 7/19- FIRST DAY OF FLOWER!!!🤩🎉While checking over the GG4 Sherbet FF today I saw that she has begun to flower which I have been anxiously awaiting! I removed a bunch of dead or yellowing leaves from the underside of the canopy, under the trellis net as well as a few small shoots that were down deep in the middle of the plant which would only produce larfy buds. 7/21- It rained all day yesterday, and the rain continued into this morning so I skipped watering at all today as the ground got well saturated. 7/23- Well there's the first week of flower on the books for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and I can't wait to see her develop over the next month! Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Too much going on for a detailed update, but here are the highlights: Did a res change on 12th. Was thorough in removing all of the old water, and flushed out the roots of both grow sites until the water ran clear. Filled with RO and did nutes until ~900 PPM. Creme de la Chem just kept stretching, got into the light. I re-worked the tent today, and now they have like 4 inches of space... definitely sub-optimal. I've been trying various techniques on different stalks to see if anything works ... super cropping, topped off some smaller bud sites, and folding over as much as I think they can take. She just won't stop stretching! Finally seeing decent pistils on her, though, so maybe she's almost done. Going to be a lot of toasted and light bleached buds on these two beasts :(. SOH hasn't been getting much taller at all, just adding more and more pistils. I'm waiting for her to start fattening up, and excited to see what she produces. As you can see from underwater temps, I've been doing battle with the water temp fighting to keep it under 72F. I'm rotating ice packs, and it's annoying AF. When this grow is over, I will be adding insulation to the outside of my buckets. I've learned so much already ... my next grow will be much much smoother. For now, it's just a matter of trying to cope with my early mistakes 😂.

Dry weight of quality buds was 34g. I don’t wet weigh as it’s completely pointless. Quite a lot of trim for the hash bag. Tastes great

Empecé la germinación el 23/01/23 en un vaso de agua durante 12 horas, después al taper con servilleta húmeda 24 horas más. Radícula de 2cm y las planto en maceta de 1L Actualización estado de germinación 03/02/23: Meto fotos ya con las macetas rellenas al 10º día y fotos del 7º día comparando las macetas y los tallos. En cuanto el 2º par de hojas sea mas que evidente empezamos las semanas de crecimiento. Dentro de 2 o 3 semanas quizás, trasplantamos a maceta definitiva de 7Litros. Lo veremos. Actualización 06/02/23: Meto unas fotos de las plantas mas grandes, 3 días después para que se vea la diferencia de crecimiento. Además un video mostrando el cultivo entero, la luminaria y la extracción. Llevamos 13 días desde la germinación. Actualización 08/02/23: A partir de aquí voy a empezara a contar ya las semanas de crecimiento. Hemos tenido 15 días desde la germinación. Venga va, día 10/02/23 meto unas fotos mas, llevamos 17 días desde la germinación

Bueno esta semana es la última de vida de nuestras pequeñas, un tamaño reducido y muchas juntas... pero una calidad.. dureza y resina... envidiables.. Esta semana usamos solamente agua con un ph de 6,2 y líquido solo usamos la final solution de b.a.c para limpiar nuestras raíces, al igual que aumentamos la cantidad de agua por riego para ir lavando bien nuestras raices. El olor es muy fuerte pero un aroma apetecible a más no poder... en cuanto abro el armario para los riegos y cuidados sale un olor... que si no fuera por el generador de ozono apestaría la casa!😍😋 En grandes rasgos una variedad de floración relativamente corta.. y con unos resultados impecables.. Hay una media de 5 puntas por planta y algunas incluso más!😍

This strain is absolutely amazing, it's very different from any haze or even blueberry, the smell it's exactly like a fruit cocktail smells, very very fruity and sweet, I'm crazy to see how this nuggets taste after being well dried and cured boys and girls!
