This week marks the end of Week 10, and Do-Si-Dos Auto is deep into her final ripening phase. Trichomes have shifted to mostly cloudy with a few ambers starting to show, signaling the early harvest window. Her fade is well underway with noticeable yellowing and some purpling on the fan leaves and bracts — all expected at this stage. She experienced one dryback early in the week that caused temporary leaf droop, but she perked back up quickly after a good watering. Temperatures peaked at 86°F with humidity holding around 45%, keeping the environment within range. Buds are dense, frosty, and continuing to swell. On the final night of Week 10, she was watered with Cal-Mag (1 ml/gal) and the auto-watering base was refilled. Harvest is likely coming within the next week depending on trichome development.

W10F and the end is near. The bud sites are small and internodes are spaced far apart. I neglected them and let the light intensity get too high during stretch. They are pretty frosty though. Fade has started and they are displaying nice colours

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Happy new year everyone! I hope everyone had some amazing festivities! 😃 Regarding my babies I think I might be underfeeding them and one might be shocked thanks to the heat and the lack of nutrients I gave them, last week's runoff water scared me and the plants might be suffering because of that! Most of the issues starts to get more noticeable later during the week! 😖 I started giving them few nutrients to see how they would react and at the end of the week it's clear that I had to give them waaaaay more 😵 Besides that I also moved them to their final pots and I topped Pistachio, out of the two she's the one that looks the best. I also defoliated them a little. I also believe they didn't get a transplant shock (I mean, they would've been worse if that was the case haha) and I added more mycorrhizas during the transplant (I heard they help a lot with hot climates and I need help with that badly) Anyway, thanks for reading! Day 56 Smell is super loud and still way to go.... A/C arrived and saved the day... from 34cº to 27cº during light cicle and down to 24cº on night cicle i must say that the terpens from interchillactic , mephisto genetics.. is one of my favourites so far from all i had.... hands down top 1 for me plants are drinkin like MF from 2 to 3 liters a day.. gettin bigger buds and the patience game just started.. 😁😁

📓 Cultivation Diary: The 12/12 Flip & Transition Week 📅 June 5, 2026 (Veg Day 17) Irrigation/Reservoir: Prepared a full 100L reservoir refresh. Nutrients: Kept the feeding aggressive with a double dose of vegetative nutrition (x2 Nutrient formula) to ensure the root zones and plant tissues are fully stocked with elements before the transition. Canopy Observation:the canopy is thick, uniform, and fully occupying the table space. The trellis net is officially filled out, and the lower branches are strong and rigid. 📅 June 6, 2026 (Day 1 of Flower / Bloom Week 1) The Flip: Officially switched the timers to a 12/12 photoperiod (Lights ON at 6:00 PM / Lights OFF at 6:00 AM). Schedule: First irrigation shot triggers exactly 1 hour after lights on (7:00 PM), followed by a shot every 1.5 hours. Volume: Configured the drip stakes to run for 1 minute per shot, delivering 5 shots total per day. This provides roughly 450ml per plant per day, creating excellent target dry-backs overnight to force vigorous root searching. 📅 June 11, 2026 (Day 6 of Flower / Bloom Week 1) Irrigation/Reservoir: Bumped reservoir capacity up to 110–120L to keep up with increased transpiration as the plants begin their post-flip stretch. Nutrient Recipe (TargetingpH 6.0 EC 2.5 Water: 110–120L Athena Cleanse: 120ml Silica: 220ml (Essential for stem strength during the stretch) CalMag: 10ml Athena Bloom: 600ml (Adjusting base to target 1.2–1.3 EC from Bloom component) Athena Core: 400ml Irrigation Adjustments: Increased the shot duration slightly to 1 minute and 15 seconds to match the accelerating growth pace. The early flowering stretch has officially begun. The tops are noticeably pushing past the trellis net layers, and the node spacing remains tight and stacked. Leaf color is an excellent dark green with healthy, bright yellow-green shoots driving upward at the growth tips. No signs of stress or stalling from the schedule shift.

Spotted some budrot again. This time I had enough of it and didn't want to risk further rot, so I decided to harvest them and not let them flower for another week. Forgot to take pictures before the trim, they look silly now without the support from the copperdreads and rubberwires haha. They had 8 weeks of flowering, I'm glad that 1 out of 2 came out nicely. The other one is just another regular looking outside plant lol. I always give them a first trim, so the buds can dry better, faster, safer. After some days or maybe at the end of drying, i will trim them again. You can expect the final update with pictures between 7 to 14 days from now. ps, Somehow the beautifull colors from the better plant doesn't show properly when filming or taking pictures, neighter am I a professional photographer. But ill promise to take better ones, once the buds got the final trim and got dried.

Der Stretch war enorm... Sie streckte sich von 25cm auf fast 80cm nach oben. 3 x mal Lampe justieren war angesagt! Danach gab's Plagron Organic Linie nach Düngeschem + Power Buds zusätzlich. Sie hat so extrem geblüht .. teilweise über Nacht sichtbare Veränderung in Größe und Menge!💚 Top Pflanze .. hat sehr viele Fehler verziehen ..💚 Am Ende geerntet und direkt nass gestimmt. - 284 gr Nass auf der Waage 😳 - ... gr trocken auf der Waage (sobald trocken) Riecht herrlich zitronig frisch bis jetzt Ernte: 4 h lang geschnitten und dann alles gewogen und in den Trockenschrank gebracht. Es war sehr harzig .. aber eher trocken und nicht wirklich für Fingerhasch geeignet. Alles in allem eine sehr spannende Erfahrung mit dieser Sorte. Let IT grow 🌱 🌿 💚

Transplant is very close, in a few days she'll be resting in a 10 gal fabric pot ! Unfortunately, a glitch in the page erased all the comments I have been recording here during the past days :( This is Day 44 (24/10/2019) and she looks well recovered from the very many toppings yesterday. Day 45 (25/10/2019) I inserted the plant's small plastic pot into the coco/perlite mix of the big pot to create a niche that fits perfectly for the rootball when I remove the plastic pot tomorrow; spraying the niche with fertilizer solution and root excelurator may help. I hope she'll never realise she has been transplanted. The run off EC from the big pot is 1000 uS/cm and pH about 5.8. I had to perform some operations using tape because the stem near the tip snapped and below the crack, I saw lacerations caused by the twist tie, those need to be fixed right now. Day 46 She's transplanted and the scrog net set up. I'd say that now the journey begins. Day 47 I fertigated by 5.30 am because I had to spend all day working and on Day 48 back to normal, morning fertigation and a little supercropping. The plant has recovered fully from transplant (if she has been ever stressed during the procedure). From now on I'll be fertigating once a day with a liter and a half fertig solution to get a 20-30% run-off. Also, I fertigate other vegging and blooming plants with the effluents I collect.

I never even weighed out my harvest, but it was almost 3 mason jars stuffed full. I actually never smoked it either; I rosin pressed every gram of that $hit. Definitely better quality than the dispensary concentrate I’m used to. I’m very happy with my results, considering it’s my first run. They went through a lot like I moved halfway through, the plants lived I am unventilated closet for a bit because my tent wouldn’t fit and had to buy/wait for a new one, then had to deal with the winter cold in my environment too and all that. It was really fun and a huge learning experience. Hard to rate the strain considering it was my first grow, but again, considering everything I put these plants through, I give it high rating. I would recommend.

Wow last day of August, summer is flying by All the girls have finally stepped into high gear and are flourishing although in years past at this time of season my girls have always been further along. I guess this means a later harvest this year? Wondering if other growers are experiencing the same pattern. Sept.1 and average temps have started to drop during the day and the morning dew has reared its ugly head once again. This will probably be the case from here on in. Going to try my best to keep the girls from staying wet throughout the day. Sept.3 noticed some powdery mildew on my Godfather OG #1 in front of the wall. Made up a concoction of 1 litre of milk to 3 litres of water and gave her a good spray after the sun went down. Also sprayed the rest of my girls as a preventative. Hopefully this will help manage the problem. Sept. 6 this week has been quite windy most days and my Godfather OG blew over landing on top of Trainwreck #1 and breaking 2 lower colas OUCH! 👺 My fault for having Godfather to close Trainwreck

Well day 64 here I believe shes ready in my opinion. A little early but I switched her to 24 hour lighting a week ago and had her out in the sun the last 3 days. Today she basks in the sun in all of beauty and wonderful aroma. This strain is without a doubt the most gorgeous to me and the smell is outstanding! Check back next week for a flavor report and my review of the strain! She should dry for me well in a week sadly a severe drought here so I'll be keeping it hanging whole.
