My fav strain Wedding Cake 🍰 x Cheese 🧀? I'm in!

I dropped these seeds into a bowl of water overnight. In this case about 8 hours. I then planted .75" deep into wet soil on 4/24/24. I prefer moist soil but we had a rain the previous evening. Outdoors you plan for the weather but you don't know with certainty what nature will throw at you. There's a lot of rain in the forecast. I'm gambling that there'll be less actual rain. I want to get these girls more veg time so there's the trade off. I didn't fill these short pots completely full of soil. The idea is that less soil will dry faster if we get loads of rain. Once we get a stand, I'll add soil topping these pots off. Prayers going up for good planting weather and hoping for a fine stand of Wedding Cheesecake 🌱🌞🚀🎂. We've had lots of rain on the night of the 25th and all day 26th. It was cloudy and humid all day on the 27th but we missed the rain. The 28th we have rain most of the day. Two of three popped on the 28th and the third on the 29th. I dug up a few inches of soil around these to loosen it up and let some air get in. Hopefully that will counter this rain and drizzle on their birthday 🎂🎈 These girls came out fine and are turning up to get some sun. Fastbuds really do handle stressful outdoor conditions better. That's why they're my go to for outdoor fems.

- Day 43 Refreshed the tank today. pH was reading at 5.5 so seems like she is mostly drinking the water and not really the nutrients..I think. she's drinking a lot so the nutrients get a lot more concentrated. Gonna have to keep an eye on that. Think it's good that I switch to a schedule now of replacing the water reservoir twice a week now. Also checked PPFD, the top canopy is getting about 620 PPFD. Day 44 Flowers are starting to set in nicely. She is drinking a lot right now, have to top up the 4 liter reservoir every day now it seems. pH went up to 6.4, so brought it back down to 6.0 now. Day 45 She had another big stretch over night. I've raised the light a bit as she was getting close to it now and I don't wanna overstress her. She is still drinking a lot, topped up the reservoir with another 1.3 liters of ph 6.0 water. Will be doing a full water change tomorrow. Day 46 Fully renewed the water today with new nutrients, I did put in a bit less of each nutrient this time, I'm seeing some minor leaf tip burn starting to happen. Seems to correlate with the higher bloom nutrient dose, so I will dial that a bit down from now on. Removed some fan leaves on the fastest growing stems also to slow them down a bit, a lot of the smaller stems are starting to catch up nicely now. Day 47 Had to top up with 1.5 liters of water, she is definitely drinking even more now...after adding the water (6.0 pH) the pH was 6.1. She is still growing a lot as well, especially those side stems are catching up to the top of the canopy. I should probably do some lollipopping soon. Day 48 Ph was down to 5.8 today, had to top up the water again with 1.5 liter of 6.0 pH water, which brought the pH up to 5.9. She is still stretching quite a bit right now. Also did my first defoliation today, I removed a ton of leaves but it looks like barely anything was removed because there so much foliage 😅. Day 49 pH got down to 5.7 today. It keeps surprising me to see how much she drinks in one day. Was able to top up the bucket with almost 2 liters again. Made the water 6.1 pH which brought the pH in the bucket back up to 5.9.

Papaya Sunrise continues its development with discretion but remarkable efficiency. This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

Honestly recommend special queen, some have thos quite loud weed, almost garlicky taste to them. Because I run a lot of fruit strains, that's a pleasant detour. If anyone can recommend any great fruit strains I'd really appreciate it.

Day 91, plants #1&3 are still maturing and not ready to be chopped. They are definitely running longer than I expected. I have plant #2 in jars and curing already. Total dry weight for her was 98g or 3.5oz!!! Definitely more than I was expecting. I was hoping for 1.5oz so I’m definitely a happy guy about that!!! Update #2: upon further investigating, looks like I’m going to start flushing the last 2 plants in a couple days when they go through all their current nutrients. They’re about ready to come down. I harvested last two plants on day 98. Currently drying. I will update with final weight in a couple days.

Hi All, The week was pretty uneventful, the plant is developing nicely. I removed a leave here and there to make sure maximum light exposure in the middle of the canopy is guaranteed. The buds stopped stretching so I’ll will stop with the boost and add the pk 13/14 to help with the fattening. Dried and smoked a few of the lowest popcorn buds and they are by all means not there, but smell and taste pretty awesome. I have also added a few pictures of the new box that I have built for the cuttings. The box was build pretty low budget, however I will still need to add a better light source as I am currently running on only 60W veg lights. Was planning to buy the Greenception GCx5solo 150W full spectrum LED, as it would fit exactly Inside the box.

Hello fellow growers and user of the lovely lady Mary Jane. It was last week harvest time. I was busy with an experiment with the light schedule. I went from 18 hours of light to 12 hours by turning the clock back and make the light time shorter. And after a week on 12/12 I put them in the dark for two day’s. the though behind this is that the ladies will react by making more trichonomen and compacter bud’s . after I harvest the cola’s I cut them and lay them to dry. After 9 day’s they were ready. I weight the bud’s and harvest 167 grams. That’s about a halve gram per watt. I thought that it would be more, and because I didn’t have a control plant it’s a guess if the experiment works or not. I do not think it harms the ladies but there also no great yield. The next time I do have auto flowers I’ll try to doe it again but then with a controlled lady in a different tent. I like the White Widow Autoflower. It’s an easy plant and can handle some stress. I growth them under the Budmaster II UK HPS 9 and it’s a very good lamp for growing and flowering. As nutrition I used Mills Nutrition’s and I have to say it’s easy to use and to prepare. I use lemon juise to get the PH level down but do not use it when you have a feeding system it cloud clog up your system. Harvest Report | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 17 — chop day. **6 plants** came down after a full run under **2800W** total light power in the **4.5m²** room. The finish was everything this genetics promised. Dense, frosty colas with deep purple and near-black coloration throughout — confirmed as true phenotype expression, not a lighting artifact. The candy gas profile that built through the back half of flower hit its peak right at the chop, filling the room the moment the first branch came down. Drying and curing now underway. **Aptus Regulator** earns a well-deserved 5-star mention — used throughout veg and flower for stem strength and structural integrity, and it delivered exactly as expected. Not a single weak stem on this run despite the bud weight these colas were carrying. This closes out the GMO × Triangle Mints BX diary. This week I defoliated slightly for better air circulation and improved light penetration, mainly removing leaves blocking budsites that had purple petioles. They seemed to respond good. Also foliar sprayed with light potash solution, upped pk with guano and provided micros with seaweed extract. Feed EOD and water with silica in between feeds. RH now around 50-50% most of time. Improving air circulation is now top priority on to-do list

The cold significantly stunted development. I cut it 20 days too early because I was afraid of botrytis spreading from other plants, but that was my mistake, as botrytis never reappeared on subsequent plants. 8 days drying with indirect wind and dark place. Small 3-liter vase, just a few grams, the crop still had more time to mature.

Last week was fantastic, they grow a lot, they are now in full flowering. im dealing with the management of the new and bigger colas, im thinking of putting the same orange fence on top and using it as a ScrOG trainer, ill try this in the next few days , ill put more pictures with the testing.

This week is sunny 🌞 . Started giving Big bud. Watering 2-3 liters per plant.

12/30 - Dropped the 3x3 net for spacing - Micro dosing Silica and Green Planet through harvest - Sick plants have bounced back and are flowering accordingly - Update concluded 😎😎😎😎 01/01 - First update on the new year!! (2026) if you are reading this, many blessings and prosperity to you and yours - Closing out in the first 30 days of flower - thus far all running accordingly - dropped the light intensity down to 50 for offset heat index down to 71 degrees, humidity around 50-60% 01/03 - Thus far all is rolling right a;ong - Feedings are increasing from once every three days to once a day between clean water and nute feeds - ran out of Cane Molasses subbed with light brown sugar - Trichomes are setting in nicely - water temps for feeds are between 52 and 65 degrees.
