Week 8 This week i ´ve been defoliating the cookies and stopped to give them nuts after some signs of stress on leaves, they are curling up and get burn out on their tips, this is most visible on pot 1 who´s appearing to be a sativa pheno! On the other hand Pot 2 who appears to be more indica pheno are showing more resistance to nuts! I Just been feeding them with ph water and have increase the distance for the ligths, I dont relate the burns on my leaves from that but with the temperatures on outside changing so drastic and the entire grow been heated and sealed (in order to save some money on energy) i only opened the windows to refresh the air two or tree times this week for a couple of hours generaly at 12 oclock to dont have my temps changing from 22 degres to 8 degres 😱, not the best conditions and not my easiest grow but what can i say? You can look them an judge... to me they are fucking Hero´s... They became thirsty, suffered from insufficient air flow, suffered slight burns for 24 hours of continuous light from the seed until now and still suffered from excessive fertilization but the ladies didn't fall off their high heels 🙌

Well, I really didn't have to do much with this Gal. She is very low maintenance. Very fruity, smelly and is full bodied. She lost some of her hardness after a 48hr dark rest, it has made her really sticky, and I was expecting this to happen as the leaf to calyx ratio is high in this pheno. But she makes up for it in smell, let's hope it tastes as nice. I'm not too worried About it not been, as the other 3 GFS I harvested were good, even if I marked 1 wrong. Have hung dry this gal whole, I let it dry out in the coco and took it apart (the pot) and broke away the substrate to leave the roots and let it dry as natural as I can with no stress. This my 1st time doing this, have done it on all 3, so let's hope wasn't a bad idea, will update on smoke report as soon as she's dry.

Welcome to week 9 of my grow diary. In the middle of the week, I decided to pull the four main shoots apart using plant wire and binder clips, as the side shoots in the middle weren't getting enough light. Fortunately I couldn't find any more mildew. The weather continues to be great. See you next week!

🌱 Germination Journey with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! Today kicks off an exciting adventure with Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco genetics. I’ve got 10 regular seeds ready to sprout, and I’m looking forward to discovering some beautiful female phenotypes—and maybe even a standout male for potential future breeding. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with regular seeds, so I’m thrilled to dive in! Germination Process Overview: Here’s a step-by-step rundown of the germination setup and process, with a special focus on the equipment and nutrients that are helping these seeds thrive right from the start. Step 1: TheCannaKan Germination Pod 🌱 For germination, I rely on TheCannaKan—a device I’ve come to love and trust. It’s designed to create the perfect microclimate for seed germination, and within just 24 hours, the seeds started showing signs of life. By the 32-hour mark, they were all ready to be transferred to the next stage! I can’t recommend this gadget enough for anyone serious about getting strong, early growth from their seeds. • Why TheCannaKan? • Humidity Control: Ensures seeds stay hydrated without oversaturation. • Stable Temperature: Maintains an even temperature around the seeds, so there’s no shock or stalling. • Enhanced Oxygenation: Keeps fresh air circulating, helping prevent mold and ensuring seeds don’t suffocate. Step 2: Transfer to Root Riots & Aptus Holland Supplements 💧 Once the seeds were sprouted, I transferred them into Root Riots, known for their excellent water retention and structure that encourages strong root growth. Root Riots also have a pH-balanced, spongy texture that makes it easy for roots to penetrate, promoting sturdy, healthy root systems. At this stage, I started using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster at 1ml/L each. Here’s why I chose these products for early growth: • Aptus Regulator (1ml/L): Helps strengthen the plants against environmental stresses by supporting cell wall structure. It’s a fantastic choice for giving young seedlings an early boost in resilience. • Aptus Startbooster (1ml/L): This product provides essential microbes and nutrients that stimulate root growth and early plant vigor. Especially for regular seeds, the early root development makes a noticeable difference in later growth stages. Step 3: Lighting with Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD 💡 For lighting, I’m using a Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED. For the germination stage, I’ve dimmed it to around 200 PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density), which provides just enough light for healthy, strong seedling growth without overwhelming them. • Why Low Intensity? • 200 PPFD ensures that young plants aren’t exposed to too much light, which could cause stress or stunting. This level of intensity is perfect for encouraging healthy development without risking “stretching.” • The FOG LED provides a balanced spectrum tailored to plant growth, setting up these young sprouts for success as they grow. Step 4: Environmental Control with TrolMaster Tent X Controller 📲 For monitoring and control, I’m using the TrolMaster Tent X Controller, which lets me dial in every aspect of the environment to make sure these little ones have the perfect conditions for germination and early growth. • TrolMaster Benefits: • Precision Control: Adjust temperature, humidity, and lighting all in one place. • Notifications: Sends updates in real-time to my device, so I can make adjustments as needed without being physically present. • Consistency: Maintains stable conditions around the clock, reducing stress on seedlings and ensuring they’re thriving. Grow Tips & Reflections: Germination is one of the most crucial stages in a plant’s lifecycle. Starting with strong genetics like Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco, combined with a solid germination setup and the right nutrients, creates the foundation for a successful grow. 💡 Quick Tips for Fellow Growers: • Hydration Balance: Don’t oversaturate! Moisture levels should be high enough for the seeds to sprout but not so wet that they drown. • Light Management: A low PPFD for young seedlings prevents stretch and keeps nodes tight, preparing them for a healthy vegetative phase. • Environment Consistency: Use a reliable controller like the TrolMaster Tent X to manage your settings, and consider monitoring tools for real-time adjustments. Shout Outs to the Community: Big thanks to Terpyz Genetics for these incredible seeds, Aptus Holland for their top-notch nutrients, Future of Grow for the stellar LED lights, and TrolMaster for the amazing controller. Also, shout out to all of you in the growing community—you make this journey exciting and filled with endless learning. Let’s keep growing and sharing together! That’s it for the germination update! Next up, I’ll be monitoring growth closely to identify strong females (and maybe a standout male for breeding). Rough week, had to flush the bigger plant to fix lockout. Did 15 gallon flush with ph balanced water, the last bucket of 5 gallon had 50% strength nutrient, minus the flora Micro which I will stop using for the rest of the grow. I installed my scrog net, only about 30% of the net is filled. The second smaller plant doesn't even reach. I sent the height to 18 Inches from the base of the plant. I lose 10 inch from pot I also lose 18 Inch from light and carbon air filter 6ft tent max I lose 2.5 ft. Only 3.5 ft to grow. Going to increase nutrients to 75% strength and only give cal-mag 1x a week as the support team told me to do so. Heavy trimming and defoilation. I will spread the plant and any branches wanting to pass my screen will get topped until the tent is filled. I took 5 clones from each plant, some of the thin long branches that were not getting any light. I am starring my first dwc grow at the same time in my 2x3 tent with my gf. Unsure if I will have a small soil run the same time. The plant is starting to smell strong, honestly like stinky armpit mixed with cat piss. I am not turning on carbon air filter yet, I like keeping it humid during the veg cycle and I keep RH around 40-60% when I turn on carbon filter.
