Hello Diary. The first week of flowering is behind us. The Green Gelato Automatic has reached 41 cm, and is now twice lower than its Hulkberry roommates. Due to the height of the Hulkberries, I had to attach the lights to the very top of the box, the height of the box is 178 cm and to maintain a distance of 35 cm from the plants, I had to do so. 😟 Unfortunately, now the Green Gelato is 50cm away from the light, although I picked up the whole pot, the distance is still too far than it should be. Earlier in the week, I changed the light regime to 20/4, four hours of sleep from the start of flowering. I started giving BioBizz full range for the first week of flowering. She started drinking more water, so I watered more this week than before. Compared to Hulkberry roommates, Gelato grows much lower with much denser branches and more leaves. He did not lengthen in height like them. I started adding Cal-Mag, preventively, since I had a shortage of Cal-Mag with Somango and Royal Haze before. The temperature is higher than I want, around 27-28 degrees, but it’s summer, it could be a lot worse. That’s the advantage of Led lights, and the Migro was a great choice. Humidity in the air is about 50-55%, which is currently good.😀 The tips of the upper leaves are intensely yellow, I sincerely hope it’s a little stress due to the heat, or is it something else, we’ll see. Otherwise the plant look satisfied, there are no major signs that it is missing anything. The only watering is difficult due to the density of the branches and the light does not reach the lowest flowers, but I plan a small defoliation next week. 10/07/2020 - Day 22. I changed the light regime to twenty hours of light and four hours of sleep. It was also watering day. She got the full range of BioBizz for the first week of flowering. I prepare 9 liters of water each time in which I put BioBizz, p.H. I regulate with Plagron’s, Lemon Kick and as of this week I’ve started adding Cal Mag preventively. With that amount of water, I water all three plants evenly. 12/07/2020 - Day 24. Watering. The procedure is the same as the previous times. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Looks to me that the flowering transition has begun! I did some light defoliation, and LST. 1 Gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients lasts for about 3 days, before drying out, and ready for the next dosage!

Pistils starting to turn a little Amber, buds filling in a little more and trichomes starting to have nice coverage, everything is looking good so far!

Week 8 - Dead line is coming, starting week 8 of flowering. The routine is maintained, feeding only with water. I think Black Jack will pass 10 weeks of flowering.

Raised lights a bits. 2 seeds one 2 gal pot in a 2 gal bucket. Same structure 2 very different smells one turns color. It's tricks for your fucking mind! Left one is very sweet smell. Right one that is turning darker is very rotten skunky. Gavem a prune job cause the lower buds all bleached lookin and need a tan.

I mixed 320ml Organic Coop Poop 2-4-3, 160ml Espoma blood meal 12-0-0, and 480ml Gaia glacial rock dust per 32 gallon pot. The above listed nutrients will be dry amendments per gallon of soil. In anticipation of possible heavy rains I filled pots halfway with soil. Half the soil and it dries twice as fast. I will add soil as soon as these get taller and are out of danger from excessive moisture. These had an excellent start. We had a couple of warm 70°F sunny days to start off their first week. The third seed popped overnight and made it's appearance on day 2 this week. We got more rain on night 1 and some early morning Day 2. More rain on day 5 that continued intermittently through the night and into the morning of day 6. Day 7 we had sunshine in the afternoon. The wet conditions these seedlings faced are challenging for cannabis. Cannabis especially seedlings don't like wet feet. I've come to appreciate fastbuds genetics for their hardiness to challenging outdoor conditions. Despite the rainy overcast weather this week was a success. All three of these girls are growing and developing without showing any major stress. We will have cooler days and more next week, but these fastbuds are going to thrive as their roots develop and begin to explode upward.

Hey mates, I'm happy with my first grow. I'm learning so much. Day 29: I'm looking like a hypochondriac, but for the plants, all I see I think it's a disease. Now I'm seem the older leaves getting yellowing, and gotting some brown/dark spots and saw little flies walking at the soil, I've googled it and can be fungus gnats, what I'm supposed to do? About the pH: I never measured the pH cause I'm using the pH Perfect products of Advanced Nutrients and they say you dont know care about this. But I've started to use mineral water, to see if have some difference. Obvious the mineral water is more puriest and clear than the tap water. Lets see. Day 30: I've did the defoliation on all seeds, but on Seed 2 and 3 I've just removed dead or yellow/brown leaves, and at the Seed 1 I've removed the most of fan leaves, leaving two or three at max. Day 34: I'm happy with these girls, Seed 3 I've did not LST and she have 49cm, Seed 2 I've did a soft LST and she have 45cm and 3 main colas, Seed 3 I've did a more little harder LST and she has only 33cm and I think has 4 or 5 main colas, I really dont know the exact number cause one of them is a little lower than the 4 others.

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.
