TEST - Defoliation Autoflower FB Gorilla Zkittlez Auto

Terp1 06.05.2023 - Day 1 - After just 2 days, they have already poked their heads out and I was able to plant them - Planted the plants together with Eazy Plug in 3L fabric pots - 50/50 BioBizz All-Mix & Light-Mix - Added mycorrhiza to the planting hole - Watered with pH 6.2 - RootJuice 3ml, Bio-Heaven 2ml, ActiVera 2ml per liter of water 11.05.2023 - Day 6 - I didn't manage the humidity well and the VPD was crap because of that - Fungus gnats also got into the tent through the peppers I temporarily placed inside - Filled soil to keep the stem short - Covered pots with clay pebbles to prevent fungus gnats - But it might get too wet in the next few days -> will observe - Plants look very healthy though - Watered GZ 1 + 2 per pot with 400ml water pH 6.2 – fertilized with Rootjuice 3ml, Acti-Vera 2ml, Bio-Heaven 2ml per liter of water -> had only lightly moistened them before

Terp1 The fungus gnats are gone, but I'm leaving yellow sticky traps as indicators. I'm still not feeding any nutrients - just Acti-Vera, Bio-Heaven, and Root-Juice. Otherwise, everything looks good. GZ #1 and #2 are progressing very well. #1 is the stronger of the two.

Terp1 21.05.2023 Day 16 - Both plants planted in 15L final pots with BioBizz All-Mix - Added mycorrhiza during repotting - Watered with 0.75L of water per plant, as the root ball is still wet - Fertilized with 2ml Acti-Vera, 2ml Bio-Heaven, and 0.75ml CalMag per liter of water I know there's a debate about whether to repot autoflowers or not. I decided to do it so that a) I have a chance to inoculate the roots with mycorrhiza and b) to keep the soil loose for as long as possible. I'm using Mycotrex from BioTabs. What experiences have you had with mycorrhiza? Is there a better method than adding the spores in powder form during repotting? A method that might even work without repotting? ################################################################################################################################################################################################## 23.05.2023 Day 18 - Started LST - Each plant should be shaped like a triangle at the base to make optimal use of the space in the tent (square) ################################################################################################################################################################################################## 24.05.2023 Day 19 - Watered with 3L of water @ PH 6.2 per plant - Fertilized with 1ml Bio-Grow, 2ml Bio-Heaven, and 2ml Acti-Vera per liter of water

Terp1 27.05.2023 Day 22 - Leaves show damage - They weren't there 2 days ago -> see diary - The lower fan leaves show light green spots (seem to be turning into holes) -> I think this is from thrips. However, I couldn't see any. The upper leaves have light green stripes along the leaf veins -> no idea what that could be. - Asked a question about this in the forum - Further LST on #1 and #2 - #1 is stronger and looks 1-2 days ahead of #2 Sprayed the plant with a mixture of potassium soap and water. Suspected: thrips ################################################################################################################################################################################## 28.05.2023 Day 23 - Response from the forum came, unfortunately, I can't reply because I keep getting banned for 7 hours whenever I try. - It's overfed with too much N. The shiny leaf that's bubbling shows that. PH problem due to twisted leaf edges Magnesium was ruled out since your overfeeding or too high a value of ml/l /ppm magnesium locks out a critical nutrient that supports chlorophyll, and your interveinal chlorosis shows that. Reduce your nutrients and just give water for a few days. To counteract the chlorosis, use an Epsom salt foliar spray as an immediate dose may be needed. And this can be applied with a spray and focuses on unlocking your substrate. - Watered/washed each plant with 6 liters of pH-regulated water - Ordered foliar spray with magnesium sulfate. Arriving in 2 days. Thanks again to the author. I'll reply to the question when I'm able to again and not constantly banned when I try. - Plants generally look pretty bad - Symptoms now visible more or less strongly on all leaves - Especially on young shoots - Sprayed leaves with a mixture of pH 6.5 water and 0.5ml CalMag / liter - The plant doesn't really look better after a night post-flush - Watered plants with 1 liter of pH 6.3 water each -> Fertilized with 2ml Acti-Vera, 2ml Bio-Heaven, 0.5ml CalMag - Epsom salt is coming tomorrow - Then there will be a foliar feeding of 1g / 2L filtered water ################################################################################################################################################################################## 30.05.2023 Day 25 - The Epsom salt is finally here - Sprayed plants with a mixture of 0.5g Epsom salt in 1 liter of stale tap water - The magnesium deficiency seems to be resolved after the flush - Plants look like they want to grow big again ;) so on the road to recovery -> but they've already gotten a bit of LST again, we don't want them to be softies

Terp1 08.06.2023 Day 34 - It's been raining all week and I'm having trouble keeping the RH. It's averaging around 65-70%. - On #2 I'm testing aggressive defoliation "bud focused defoliation" -> I'm really curious about the results. 09.06.2023 Day 35 - Humidity at 65% @ 27°C -> actually fits in the VPD and the plant is just starting to bloom. - Tomorrow is the start of flowering week 1 <3 - The triangle didn't really work out, but I'll let them stretch for now.

Terp1 Day 37 Week 6 11.06.2023 The flowering phase has begun. #2 has gone into bloom noticeably faster after defoliation than #1. It has a 2-4 day head start. - Otherwise, everything seems stable, I think - They look fantastic again today and will soon fill the tent - They are drinking roughly 0.7 liters of water per day Both plants show excellent growth and are nicely open due to LST + targeted removal of branches and leaves, allowing them to absorb a lot of light #2 had strong defoliation in week 5 #1 was defoliated individually as needed (whenever large fan leaves blocked too much light) ####################################################################################################################################### 13.06.2023 Day 40 The ladies are now already 10cm taller than the Triple G ever was, and they are still stretching. o.O I’m hoping for loooooong flower clusters. Watered today with 4 liters of water per lady - pH 6.3 Fertilized with Bio-Grow 0.5ml, Acti-Vera 2ml, Bio-Bloom 0.5ml, Top-Max 0.5ml, Bio-Heaven 2ml per liter of water

Terp1 17.06.2023 Day 44 I made a few adjustments to the shape to maximize space and allow for maximum light, and the ladies have swapped places. They're a bit late to flower, but they've grown really big. 56cm and 35cm of that could become buds. It's going to be a party 😍 I have to be away for work for 2 days now. I think I've taken good care of them. ############################################################################################################################################################################ So 3 plants in 15L pots definitely won't fit in the tent :) - I was only gone for 2 days and the ladies have grown 10cm - 66cm is #1 at the highest point now - #2 is at 64cm - both look fantastic again today <3 I can't hang my lamp any higher. So that's enough height for now.

Terp1 25.06.2023 Day 51 - The plants haven't grown for 36 hours now, so the stretching phase should be over. - Both have reached 73cm at the highest point. - LST could have been better, many uneven shoots. - Hopefully, they'll start drinking less soon; I can't maintain the RH much longer. - The two are starting to smell divine. I imagine it like being in a candy store. - Otherwise, they're both doing great; I think you can see that 😏

Terp1 01.07.2023 Day 57 What can I say? Just look at them. I'm very satisfied with the Zkittlez so far, and both have responded really well to the defoliation. Since the light reaches the ground, I've mostly skipped lollipopping. The branches have stretched quite quickly, so they're still pretty thin. But the thicker the buds get, the thicker the branches will become. I'm feeding them well now and will also keep up a bit of grow. Now I can do nothing but keep an eye on the two ladies, nurture and care for them, and give them some love. I wonder how much bud will come out of this?

Terp1 08.07.2023 Day 64 I noticed a slight magnesium deficiency on #1, so I gave a little extra dose of CalMag while watering today and a leaf spray with Epsom salt. - Otherwise, both are developing excellently. - I hung 2 Secret Jardin Cossmorrow 20W Bloom lights in the tent to cover the long bud sites. - That's bringing quite a bit of heat into the tent. All in all, I'm very satisfied so far -> especially with the defoliation. It looks really good now.

Terp1 20.07.2023 Day 76 - Flowering is almost done, trichomes are 70% cloudy - They both smell different and look different too - #1 smells super sweet, somehow that typical grass smell is completely missing - In contrast, #2 smells like the grassiest grass you've ever smelled, mixed with the sweet scent of #1 - The buds of #1 are much more elegant, slimmer, and brighter The high temperatures, low humidity, and the completely off-range VPD during flowering weeks 3, 4, and 5 have negatively affected nutrient supply, transpiration, and growth. I've wasted a lot of potential with that. I'm ordering an air conditioner for next summer.

Terp1 25.07.2023 Day 81 I'm letting the plant dry out now, I've removed most of the leaves. Harvest will be this weekend. I'm expecting something between 60 and 80g per plant. Disappointing! But let's wait and see. 👍😎 The buds on #1 really look like foxtails and are generally very narrow, but they seem to weigh quite a bit. What both ladies have in common is the massive amount of trichomes. The edges of their fan leaves have curled up because they're full of trichomes. 😬

Terp1 Unfortunately, due to massive problems with the environmental conditions, the harvest turned out to be much lower than expected. I suspect it's because of the high temperatures. The buds have partly developed fox tails. However, I am still satisfied with the harvest given the circumstances.
