~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She's loaded with flowers that are all beginning to get frosty! 9/6- My daily watering campaign continues with me giving the Papaya Sherbet approximately 5 gallons of well water from the garden hose. The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are stacking away and the frost continues to accumulate! 9/8- Today, before watering the Papaya Sherbet, I did some needed plant maintenance, removing a bunch of old dead leaves, along with a handful of shade leaves that were yellow. 9/10- Well with four weeks of flower behind her now, the Papaya Sherbet photo is almost halfway through with another 5-6 weeks to go. Great week for the little lady in week 2! We have nice steady growth and shoots are starting to come out from the lower branches which is fantastic. Her color and leaves tell me everything is alright as far as her medium and her nutrient uptake, so yeah, I'm really loving this living soil thing. Thanks for stopping in. See you next week!

I removed the LST ties about 6weeks in and added Bloom when she was showing pre flowers although it states in the nutrient list I was adding both bloom basic and biobizz bloom I actually cut out the biobizz at week 9 and replaced it with Atami bloombastic.

Heute gab es das erste mal Nährstoffe für die kleine Lady nach Dünger Schema von "Biobizz" Juju Royal Grow Soldier 0,4ml/L und Juju Royal Green Mystic 0,1ml/L. Sie hat ein schönes helles grün die ersten 3 Fingerblätter bilden sich, sie bekommt täglich mehrere Blatt sprühungen.In diesen Moment dimme ich meine Lampe von 65% auf 20% runter um gewisse Schäden zu vermeiden. Mein kleiner Turm Ventilator versorgt die Lady mit der kleinen Brise benötigten Wind um Ihren Stängel zu Stärken. Freue mich sehr das Ihr vorbei geschaut habt Update wie gewohnt nächste Woche. Today I gave the little lady nutrients for the first time according to the fertilizer scheme of "Biobizz" Juju Royal Grow Soldier 0.4ml/L and Juju Royal Green Mystic 0.1ml/L. She has a nice bright green color, the first 3 finger leaves are forming, she gets several leaf sprays a day, at this moment I dim my lamp down from 65% to 20% to avoid some damage. My little tower fan provides the lady with the little breeze she needs to strengthen her stem. I'm glad you stopped by and will update you next week as usual. week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

Very heavy indica. Gets you so freaking stoned its awesome haha. Myself and a few mates already all said this pheno is a definite keeper! huge heads, amazing taste, incredible smell and best of all knocks like a donkey just kicked you😆😂😃 Already got clones growing for the next run! will be growing this strain probably for the next year straight.

So far my confidence in this next go around is very high! 😃☀️ Putting the seeds straight into a jiffy pellet is the way I am going to proceed with germination going forward. You are just adding extra variables to what should be a simple equation (seed in sterile medium + warmth + moisture = seedling) unlike with the paper towel method, where you need to transfer them to the medium. But this is just one opinion of a rookie grower.

Week 8, the last feed! Defoliated to let more air flow and light penetrate down into the lowers of the plant. Bud's are smaller than i expected at this stage, but they'rr sticky, plant is covered in frost, the pics don't do it justice.
