Cut tonight or tomorrow

This is towards the end of last week. The BB crosses are doing excellent. They have all gone through some extreme temps with intense temp and RH fluctuations. I’ve concluded that the plants 1 week behind experienced too much heat on this one day when some things came up and I wasn’t around to get them out of the hot sun in time, and they were stunted by excessive heat over 90F. The others didn’t show much signs of stress at all. I’m not giving up on the little ones, but I am giving them a large amount of grace and understanding. They can just continue to grow and do their best. Maybe they will come back into full speed in a week or so. Maybe not. At least I will grow them out to learn what happens. From now on I will be extra careful with all stimuli my seedlings are receiving. Showing sone other plants of same age, some of which are photoperiods that began flowering about a month and a half early, with 15 hours of daylight! Why? My first guess is some form of extreme rodelization. I did notice on both A-Trains that they each had a node with two pollen sacks developing as well as the burst of female bracts. So I nicked off the pollen sacks right away, and I’ve been putting them under a light for the nights to hopefully reveg them. Either way, a fun anecdote for some new knowledge and experience! I’m sure they would bud out Fat! Seeing how much they did in 2-3 days! But maybe there’s other elements at play.

April 22nd: Refilled 1st reservoir (first time in 7 days). Plants are 7 days into switch. Haven’t seen any pistols yet....running same nutes as last week. Will fill second reservoir tomorrow April 24th: Filled second reservoir mixed nutes as 12 gallon ppm was 650 vs mixing as 13 gallon reservoir 800 ppm Defoliated two plants (second time)

Ende 8 Woche Anfang 9 Woche Grow Diary Mimosa x 🍊👊🏻 Barney’s Farm Der Grow neigt sich jetzt wirklich langsam dem Ende zu. Die Buds haben in den letzten Tagen nochmal ordentlich an Masse gewonnen und wirken mittlerweile richtig schön kompakt. Besonders feier ich aktuell die violetten und rötlichen Verfärbungen die jetzt langsam immer stärker durchkommen und den Pflanzen nochmal ein richtig krankes Finish geben 🍂🔥 Seit Sonntag wird nur noch mit Wasser gegossen, das Ganze jetzt ungefähr für 5–7 Tage. Natürlich werden währenddessen täglich die Trichome gecheckt. Momentan sind noch viele durchsichtig deshalb warte ich noch auf einen höheren bernsteinfarbenen Anteil bevor die Axt fällt. Geduld zahlt sich am Ende eben aus 😎 Der komplette Grow lief insgesamt echt stabil und jetzt geht’s in die finale Phase. Going into this week on the 12/12 light schedule. It grew to about 10.5 inches from the light. The light is now up to 50% brightness. A full dose of bud candy was added, instead of the half added last week.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 63 Today I switched my light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12. I did some minor lollipopping and defoliation on 3 of the 4 ladys. After I noticed that one of them had very low hp, I flushed her till the run off was 6.5, now I’ll check her daily for needed nutrients after the flush. I installed a trellis net and will even out the canopy over the next few days. I appreciate every advice 🙏🏾

Day 9 I had no choice but to defoliate, the canopy was getting way to dense and humidity was hard to control even with my 30 pin dehumidifier. Hopefully will not affect to much. Probably I will do another defoliation on day 21. TDS stays at 550PPM this week and CO2 at 1200PPM.

So here we are, day 72 september 8th. RIP first grow, I shoulda had a dehumidifier guys.... The 3 other plants are transpiring wayyyy too much and I didn't realize how much of a humidity problem it would cause. Low and behold, it ruined my girl. I believe only the main cola is affected. Can I chop her top off and continue on till the rest of her buds ripen? What can I do ?? Please help I fucked up, this really sucks ass.... EDIT EDIT: ITS NOT ROT YAY! IT'S SPIDER MITES I BELIEVE! I saw a little red bug and i was like OH SHIT. Turns out they can leave little webs in your buds. Any recommendations on how to treat this ? EDIT 9/10: Okay, after not wanting to believe it was mold.... it was mold. lol. I removed the top part of the main cola that was in the early stages of bud rot (botrytis) I have never seen the inside of a developing bud like this. I wasn't really sure exactly what I was looking at lol. So I probably removed more than I had to and some parts probably could have been salvaged but fuck that I just got rid of all of it. Cleaned the tent with lysol disinfecting wipes and got a cheap dehumidifier. I am almost 100 percent sure I am gonna have to buy a 150-200$ dehu in the near future..... i hope not tho. ALSO, changed light schedule back to 20/4. 10 AM off, 2 PM on. Hopefully this will help with some cooler temps during the day. :) and @Philindicus recommended I switch it, I am gonna take his advice this time after he warned me of mold issues xDDD Sept 11th Day 75 - Got a 50 pint GE dehu setup today, big boy moves. Plants are thriving now, 55% RH controlled and ooooo its so nice! Feels good to regain control over the grow again xD. Will post some nice pics tomorrow :) Sept 12th day 76 - sorry no pics again today, just been super busy :p Plants are still thriving, currently 50% rh in the tent and 74.5f degrees :) TEXTBOOK! It looks like one of the plants got some light burn so I'm taking the lights higher but keeping them at 100%. I'm gonna check them every day from now on as it might be wind or even nut burn as well. I had to add some taps to control the flow on my irrigation system. It looks even cooler now.

Still weeks from a harvest, if it doesn't freeze by then

23.2.25: I watered with approximately 1.5 ltrs per plant. I mix 6.5ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. This time, I only added Ecothrive Biosys to the water because I have just top dressed the soil. Adding anything extra right now would probably be overkill and result in toxicity from too many available nutrients. I defoliated minimally mostly Do-sì-dos, Watermelon, and Pink Mist. Due to the scrog net, it's about all I can reach 😅 I've moved the plants to increase space for Gorilla Cookies 🍪 and Bubble

| 📅 Week 9 | Days 57 - 63 | 💡 750w 📏25' | | ☔ 36%-47% | | 🌡️️🌞 74 - 75 | | 🌡️️🌑 73 - 74 | 01/04: I Did a complete reservoir swap on all the plants with an increased nutrient schedule. I should have done this sooner, but I feared the N toxicity. The PH on all the plants has been adjusted to 5.8 as usual. Smells are kicking in really nicely. Great White Mycorrhizae has been added in the reservoirs in place of the Hydroguard. 01/05: Topped off the focus plant only and PHed all the plants to 5.8. The temperatures and humidity has been nearly perfect for my environment. The buds are starting to swell nicely and the trichomes are filling up all over and starting to turn cloudy in some places. 01/06: Reservoirs on all of the plants were topped and and their PH's adjusted to 5.8. No changes have been made for humidity and temperatures. I removed some unhealthy leaves and adjusted plant positions just slightly. Fox tailing has begun to get severe on the focus plant unfortunately with the other two plants acting normal and temperatures around 77 its looking unavoidable and genetic. 01/07: I cleaned out the bottom of tent today from the build up of debris for a clean tent! The reservoirs were topped off and PHed to 6 to combat a dropping PH. If the PH's drop again we will look towards a reservoir swap tomorrow to avoid problems and get a fresh mix. 01/08: Thankfully the PH's have stabilized and aren't dropping drastically so I will not reservoir swap right now and will do it as schedules in a few days. I topped off all of the reservoirs back to normal and PHed them to 5.8. The smell has increased drastically over the week and its amazing right now. 01/09: Applied a small amount of foliar spray to give addition Calmag and keep humidity up today. I adjusted the PHs of all the plants to 5.8 after topping them off with tap water. I also adjusted the SCROG a slight bit and removed some old foliage. The RH levels are still in the acceptable rage for my setup so I will just refill the open containers and not add/remove any of them. 01/10: All of the reservoirs needed topped off and had their PHs adjusted to 5.8. I moved the air ducts around for better airflow. Temperatures and humidity have remained in the good zone for my environment and I look to keep it stable. I moved fans around in the tent to increase canopy airflow. _______________________________________________________________________ This week showed very good bud and trichome development. The addition of Great White Mycorrhizae has immediately increased bud development significantly. The timelapse plant unfortunately has genetic foxtailing on the majority of its buds decreasing overall bud structure vastly. The non-timelapse plants show little to no signs of foxtailing and have nice and chunky bud structures. These plants are maturing EXTREMELY fast over the last week and a half and its looking like harvest time will be much sooner than I anticipated given the lengthy veg time we had. Week 9 overall was pretty rough in terms of growth for our focus plant because the fox-tailing however there is only so much we can do and this week was fantastic for the other two plants so that's always nice! been such a great week, temps perfect, humidity is low enough (could be lower) but is what it is! i am going to start flush next week for my girls that are ready! I've introduced calmag at this stage too as they all needed it! maybe 1 week left on this girl, will use my mag lense to specify when ill chop her
