Mar 6th - last-light tonight for Panama x Malawi. what was the old news flash...? “pictures at 11” - then a minimum 36 hrs in the dark. RH 35-40% A wet-trim b4 hanging is planned. See where that gets us... - pictures taken and lites out by 21:00. -Harvest starts Monday Afternoon - still working from phone pics, more later Mar 8 -Tent gets opened at Noon after ~ 40 hrs of dark. Then it’s pictures and a trim as Harvest happens today.. - a video has been added to the pictures, doing a last lap around the tent before they were harvested Mar 10th -off the clothesline, trimmed & weighed and now into a tent for temp & humidity control. - 4-5 days of 19c @ 50-55% Rh is the target Mar 13th both batches were weighed and contained. Left plant was both Larger and contained more Pot that the Right plant, which has historically been smaller from the start Left plant contained 5.6 ounces. The Right plant, which also had the UV-B bulb, and was smaller, contained 4.6 ounces. ... poking at details and photos as you read this

🌱 Week 1: The Journey Begins! 🌟 Hey Grow Fam! 🙌 We’re off to an epic start with our TrolMaster adventure, and I’m already feeling the love for the setup, the seeds, and the growth happening in the room! So, let’s dive right in and get into the details of this exciting week! 🌿 Germination Update: Our first Gorilla Melon seed from Fast Buds didn’t sprout, but no worries—round two was a success! 🦍🍈 The second seed has germinated and is looking full of potential. I’m throwing in a Sweet Seeds Papaya Zoap into the germination station too, so we’re keeping this exciting lineup going strong! Germination is such a key part of the journey, and having a healthy start is what it’s all about. 🔧 Room Build & TrolMaster Setup: The build is coming along beautifully, and I gotta say, the TrolMaster system is blowing my mind! Everything’s under control like magic 🎩✨, and the TM+ app? Wow, just wow. I mean, I can literally be in the bathroom and still keep an eye on the plants—check all the metrics, adjust settings, and fine-tune what I need, all from my phone! 😂💧 This level of control is next level. I’m loving how smooth and seamless it makes managing the room. The gear is just unreal, and seeing it all come together is truly something special. 🌱 Nutrition Talk: As for feeding, we’re starting light but smart! I’ve begun with 0.15ml of Regulator and 0.25ml of Startbooster per liter for now. I always believe in starting easy and ramping up as the plants develop. These early stages are crucial—balance is everything. For the time being, I feel this is more than enough to keep the babies happy and healthy. 🌿💧 The Regulator is working wonders in maintaining plant structure and health, while the Startbooster is fueling the early root and vegetative growth, laying down a solid foundation for the weeks to come. It’s about getting it right from the start—too much too early can be a killer. Keeping it steady with precision, that’s the goal! Big Shout-Outs: To the amazing team at @TrolMaster, @Fast_Buds, @Sweet_Seeds, @AptusHolland, and all the incredible sponsors—I’m beyond grateful for the support! 💚 And to my GrowDiaries fam and followers, you guys make this journey what it is—thank you for the love, and I’m so honored to have you along for this ride. 🙏 We’re just getting started, and I can’t wait to show you what’s next. Stay tuned for more updates, epic builds, gear reviews, and plenty of insight. Don’t forget to follow me on GrowDiaries, YouTube, and IG for exclusive content, and let’s make this grow the best one yet! 🌿🔥 Growers Love to All 💚💚💚 P.S.- A deep dive into the Full Spectrum Quantum Sensor (MBS-PAR): The Full Spectrum Quantum Sensor (MBS-PAR) is an essential tool for any serious grower looking to optimize their light environment. This sensor measures photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), which refers to the spectrum of light that plants actually use for photosynthesis—typically between 400 and 700 nanometers and more depending . What makes the MBS-PAR sensor special is its full spectrum capability, meaning it accurately detects not just visible light but also far-red and UV light—which are crucial for maximizing plant growth, development, and flowering. With this tool, I can monitor the exact intensity of light my plants are receiving, making sure they’re getting the optimal levels for every stage of growth. By using this sensor in my grow room, I’ll be able to ensure that the light distribution is uniform across the canopy. Plus, it allows me to fine-tune the light output from my ThinkGrow LED setup, ensuring my plants are thriving under the best conditions. Whether it’s increasing light during the vegetative phase or fine-tuning it for flowering, the MBS-PAR sensor helps me keep everything on point. And the best part? I can monitor it all through the TrolMaster app, ensuring I can make adjustments whenever needed—even if I’m not in the grow room! This level of precision means healthier plants, better yields, and maximum efficiency. It’s a game-changer for taking the guesswork out of lighting and getting closer to growing perfection! 🌱💡 Growers Love to All 💚💚💚

Harvest & Trim Report — RollerCoaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Overview We’ve reached the end of the RollerCoaster Haze ride. After an intense and rewarding flowering period, the girls were harvested and processed with care. This is a full documentation of the final stage: harvest timing, drying method, trimming workflow, kief collection and pressing, and final yields. This harvest produced excellent results from two phenotypes — a true tribute to the genetics and the ecosystem we built around them. Final dry yields: • Pheno #3: 138 g (dry, trimmed bud) • Pheno #2: 224 g (dry, trimmed bud) Total dry bud: 362 g We also collected kief and pressed it into a beautiful resinous hash using heat and pressure; this sits alongside the cured flower and will be part of the upcoming smoke review. ⸻ Harvest Timing & Rationale The decision to harvest was made after careful observation of trichome and pistil development, the overall fade, aroma intensity, and the plants’ finish-line behaviour. The last weeks of the run had been dedicated to ripening: we completed the last balanced feed, then transitioned to plain water and a spectral end-season program (reduced whites/blues, elevated red/far-red/UV). These cues — combined with visible trichome development and the natural fade in the canopy — indicated the plants were ready to come down. ⸻ Cutting & Whole-Plant Drying • Each plant was cut whole and hung to dry intact. • Drying duration: two weeks (full-plant hang), at the environment you maintained (consistent conditions around your final stage set point). This allowed a controlled, gradual loss of moisture and preserved aromatic compounds and trichome integrity. • Drying environment was monitored and managed with the same attention as the grow: consistent airflow, humidity control and gentle circulation to avoid hotspots while preventing too rapid desiccation. (Notes: this section is a narrative of what i did. For clarity on local rules and safety, always follow local regulations and recommended practices.) ⸻ Trimming Workflow • After the two-week hang, the plants were moved to a dedicated trimming area and placed in the trim bin for processing. • Trimming method: primarily hand trim, using delicate, precise trimming tools and patience — “delicatessen and love” as i put it. The emphasis was on preserving trichome-rich surfaces while shaping each bud for appearance and even curing. • Hand trimming allowed you to selectively manicure the buds, remove the remaining larger fans, and leave the finished colas in a state ideal for curing and later consumption. The results were clean, visually appealing buds with intact resin heads. ⸻ Curing & Storage • Trimmed buds were carefully placed into Grove Bags for the finish of the cure. The Grove Bags are being used as the controlled environment for the slow biochemical processes that refine aroma, smoothness, and terpene expression. • The plan is to allow the flower to finish its cure under stable conditions until ready for the smoke review. This prolonged, stable cure should bring out the nuanced haze profile the genetics promise. ⸻ Kief Collection & Resin Press • While trimming, kief was collected from the trim and from screens. The kief was then pressed into a concentrated resin/hash using heat and pressure. • The result is a solid, aromatic hash — glossy and packed with the strain’s signature terpenes — a beautiful secondary product from the harvest and a perfect complement to the flower in the smoke review. ⸻ Sensory & Quality Notes • Aroma: intensely hazy — a dominant hay-sweet note with mature, layered complexity. The smell in the drying/trim room was strong and very characteristic of a classic haze. • Appearance: colors trending golden to warm yellow tones, heavy frosting of trichomes, dense calyxes and robust colas. The buds visually convey potency and quality. • Structure: each phenotype expressed the haze identity; long internodes on some branches, dense stacking on others — overall excellent structure that translated into heavy colas and great yields. ⸻ Recap: Seed → Harvest at a Glance • Germination: pillbox water method; seeds cracked and into soil within 48 hours. Gentle Aptus start mix supported early vigor. • Vegetative: bottom-watering to promote downward root growth; transplanted and vegged with controlled training and canopy management. • Flower: early flip to 11/13; progressive nutrition with Aptus + Plagron mix; inner canopy lighting (ICL300) to support middle/low bud development; spectrum tuning (red/far-red/UV) toward the end of flower. Final flush and plain water to finish. • Harvest: judged by trichome and pistil maturity, aroma, and overall plant condition. Whole-plant hang for two weeks, then hand-trimmed and cured in Grove Bags. Kief collected and pressed to make hash. • Yield: Pheno #2 — 224 g; Pheno #3 — 138 g (dry, trimmed flower). ⸻ Gratitude & Next Steps Thank you to everyone who followed this run — your support, questions, and shared passion have been part of what made this project so rewarding. The full smoke review will follow this harvest report and will be presented in 4K on YouTube, where we’ll document the aroma, flavor, burn, and overall experience with both phenotypes and the pressed hash. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. 2025-01-21 to 2025-01-27 This week, she really put on the lemon-lime smell of Chernobyl. I've pollinated her (once again) with Chemdog #2 pollen from a previous grow. I'm looking for a "stay lifted" effect, as both of these cultivars have. But, I'm hoping for more of the earthiness to come through from the Chemdog in the potential seeds that are produced.

I go into the local Hydro store and the previous owner happens to be there. We talk about my novice grow and I mention the "Calcium" issue as I show him a photo.... He immediately asks me " Are those pots on a concrete floor? Because if they are, your roots are getting cold making it look like a calcium issue".... The new owner gives me a nice slab of styrofoam from an old box to put on the floor of my tent as I go home. I sick my BlueLabs PH soil pen in a drain hole at the bottom side of my pot and HOLY CRAP its only 17c and the PH is 5.2 !!!!! I take the plants to the bathtub and flush them with clean water PH'd to 5.8, about 8L of rinse per pot. I check initial run-off and its a whopping 2300ppm/50!!!!! I also remove some of the effected fan leafs in hopes I dont get some sort of plant illness. A day later I do the same PH test, PH is 5.8 and temp is 22C...all is well again. I should have paid attention to growing saying...make sure you get run off checks.
