Another solid week, I've upped the EC of the solution a bit to keep her going as she transitions into flower. Starting to get a sweet smell now and I see a few purple pistils mixed in as well. Things are about to get fun!

Added some Universol Yellow to counterpart the KMPS which has high K. ORP dropped a lot, countered it with KMPS and POLY(DIMETHYLAMINE-CO-EPICHLOROHYDRIN). RH and am ambient temperature are lower at the end of the week due to my other plant being chopped and I want a cooler climate for slow cure over 14-21 days for that one, both grow and dry tent are in the same room. The Buds are more dense than previous weeks, the supplemented K seems to do the trick and of course because it is end of life. Will harvest early next year, wanted to do it on the last day of week 12 but I was sick and holidays. Internodal spacing is good, long buds at the top. Buds smell like sweet candy with a touch menthol, lets see if that stays after cure. My mind changed about the plant in the last week, maybe this one shows just at the end. Last few weeks have been fantastic and I can't wait to see how they all respond to the first big stress event. Topping any sites that are at canopy while letting the rest develop but keeping the best 6 primaries and keeping it nice and simple. 3/9 ok so I kept more than 6 on these, I think there's one of them that has 7 but the rest all have 8-9 main branches, if they were within 3-5" of the top of the canopy I just kept them, that much variation will even itself out with just some slight bending. 3/12: So I've topped all primaries once now, should be 14-18 new tops on all of these, I'm hoping to top again next week assuming they can keep growing 1" per day, that should give me an excellent structure for a big fat canopy in the flower room.

My first grow has been a great learning experience, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Her flowering is continuing beautifully and she's smelling stronger every day it seems! I'm staying on top of tucking leaves blocking light and turning her pot daily as well. 9/19- Five weeks of flower on the books! We're halfway there now, she's stacking her flowers tightly going into Week Six and she's looking phenomenal! 🤩 When I watered her today I added 1 tbsp/g each of Kelp Extract and Fish Emulsion (both liquid) to the 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water she received, which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 74℉. ~Thanks for stopping in! 42 days for my project - "Girl on the balcony on the north side" :) it looks really good, knowing what conditions she has to endure, this week there was not much sun, there was a lot of wind and rain, I used a little LST for the girl, the girl drinks = every other day 1.5 liters of water 6.3 ph, every 3rd watering I give biobizz nutrients :) good luck to everyone :).

Very high quality strain. No joke, I'm glad I have discovered such a fruity and sweet sativa strain. This m8 by gea seeds is a pleasure to smell, I'm so sad about growing her in that little 11l pot, hope next year I can make a very big bush full of fruity big colas 👨‍🌾🤤🍭🍓🍓🍏🍉🍉🍊 Loving the fragrance. OCTOBER 20 (DAY 24): Week four has begun, and I am now so completely full of questions. I’ve got preflowers on at least 2 of the 3 plants, the terminal nodes (is that right?) on all three are looking... uh... busy... lots of long, skinny growth coming out of the bud sites. I am wondering if this means it’s time to start transitioning to bloom nutes, or if I’m a little early yet. On the subject of bloom nutes..... wtf? There are so many options, and it’s hard to tell what can be used with other things and what products are supposed to be direct competitors. This is definitely going to require some trial and error. I’m also not sure what to do about the lights. Because I’m using LST on some but not all of the plants, one is significantly taller than the others (and thus closer to the lights)... this looks like a grow question. OCTOBER 21 (DAY 25): After dealing with a runaway heat problem in my tent and major height discrepancies between the LST’ed plants and the control plant, I decided to reorganize the tent... again. I’ve got my tiny tent in a nook in my bathroom, and there aren’t any ports for intake fans at the bottom of the tent (just windows), so I had been running a small intake fan shoved right up between one of the mesh intake windows and the wall. That didn’t give a ton of open air for the intake fan to draw from, so I rotated the tent 90 degrees so the intake fan has the open room air to pull from. I also raised the LST’ed plants by about 6” so the canopies of all three plants will sit roughly equal. We’ll see if this works. Τoday I fed the plants again. I’m not sure if I am going to prefer to go the FF Bembe route or the AN Big Bud/Bud Candy/Overdrive route, so I am doing a side-by-side on my LST’ed plants. Plant 3 received Bud Candy today, while plant 1 will get Bembe starting next week. I have only been feeding the plants nutes once a week. I’m wondering if I should step that up or just stick to once a week unless the plants start squawking. Any feedback would be much appreciated. TL;DR: To flower or not to flower... to feed or not to feed... to water or not to water... these are the questions. Control plant = winning. ***************************** LST Kit Info ***************************** In case anyone is interested in the LST kit I am using: https://www.etsy.com/listing/831218796/growth-manipulation-kit-for-low-stress Engineered Essentials offers these in two sizes — regular and seedling/clone. I think these autos are small enough that I should have gone with the seedling size, but I have some on the way and will report back once I give them a shot and can compare.

Start week 11

Even though they were all born on the same day starting with 10 seeds (6/23/21), 4 out of the 9 (because 1 hermed) matured and finished much quicker than the others. I would say a couple of them have at least another 2 weeks to go. Slowly but surely. My fiancé and myself wet trimmed most. Never trimmed before. Shitload of larf unfortunately. I doubt I have any nugs that weigh heavier than 3.5. Should’ve done a few things differently but do it goes. I made sure to maintain “low and slow” as best I possibly could. 9 plants all at the same age was a ton of work! Used my original tent to dry in. Conditions were about 70 Fahrenheit, and 55%RH. Bought one of them tiered mesh drying racks, and hung it in my 2x2. Few fans at the bottom, and my intake fan at the top of it, exhausting into my 4x8. I’d reckon I got about 3 ounces out of the 4 I took down earlier this week. Amazing feeling smoking your own weed that YOU grew. Seeing it in your jars. It was definitely all worth it. I almost bought another 2 ounces off my weed supplier. Then I realized I didn’t need him anymore. Saved me three hundred bucks right there. Idk If im just unlucky or what, but only a couple of mine had a slight purplish tint. Sorta disappointing. It smokes great tho, even still being in the beginning portion of its cure. I fucked up in multiple aspects, chalk those up to learning. Definitely going to defoliate around day 30, and also make sure my lights aren’t too close like they were here. My greatest mistake was the PH, it was improper for about 3 weeks. Took that long for it to get sorted out. Thus more than 1/4 of the plants life was spent in not perfect conditions. I was putting in water at 10.7, and getting 6 out as runoff…. With that being said, I’ve now got 4 plants to completion under my belt, soon to be 9 so I’m moving away from soil and closer to hydro. Bought an automatic drip feeding system I plan to use for coco. I’m done with fox farms ocean forest. It may be alright, but I’m spending way too much time watering/feeding.
