Day 57. And Mimosas are real sl@ts ..... No doubts, they all time were most picky and stupid, but big, very big ... Only two from 3. Last one is the smallest plant from all first wave. Very strange . Smoothie's are nice, grow without big hiccups, maybe a bit of a runners, but all 3 looks very similar. Purple Punch - both small, the one in best light is giving me hope that I will chop her before holidays and will make some space for the guy who will be watering them during my offs. They are overfed a bit. So no feed all week. Just water. Two biggest Mimosa's will be transplanted into bigger pots, they drink a lot, dry too quick and are sad in my mind, so I will cheer them up with bigger pots this week. Still selective defoliation, some yo-yo, so ties and no spray anymore. Smell is getting stronger, but didn't bother to try one or other. Still nothing special or super smelly yet ... In the middle of the day Mimosa's finally happy, but before lights down - theirs leaves are down too. Overdrying them constantly too, can't wait to give them better house, that type of fight I hate. Day 60. All work done ! Huge work ! All girls were cleaned, defoliated and pots toped up with BioBizz Worm Castings. Both Mimosas got new bigger pots too. Happy Growing !!!

All is well. I'm continuing to feed 'bloom' nutrients every other time I water. I'm giving heavy calmag doses every time I water. I'm trying to take out any unnecessary vegetation that is preventing air circulation. Lights are all at about 85% intensity... I won't be turning them up any more than that. I have reduced my nitrogen load... By the end of next week I won't be giving any more nitrogen at all.

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The rez is 483 ppm. The girls are looking good and nitrogen toxicity seems to have stopped. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.1 to 6.3. The rez is 477 ppm. Trichomes seem to be 10% cloudy so I still have a bit to go i'm thinking 9 weeks should be a good bet! On day 3 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.1. The rez is 500 ppm. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 503 ppm. I lowered the ppfd so my tallest received 900 ppfd and an average of 543 ppfd. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 519 ppm. I removed some of the extra fan leaves blocking bud sites. On day 6 I changed out the reservoir with only tap water and adjusted the PH from 6.7 to 6.1 with a ppm of 249. The trichomes are maturing and I plan on harvesting on week 8 day 4 of flower. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.5 to 6.0. The rez ppm is 250.

Seedlings stretched a bit had to put them under the light early. Popped 2 seeds initially with 2 freebies I got, unfortunately the freebies didn't germinate in a week so I tossed them and popped two more Dolatos and all four germinated with 100% success rate. Kept them on a 20/4 schedule watering them only once and sprayed the top soil with a mister every now and again. 👍🏿

So close. I'd say another week maybe 2 and then we harvest. Im going to start checking trichomes tonight. They smell absolutely lovely. My entire house smells if I open that tent for a second. They each have their own distinct aroma and the resin is definitely there. I started feeding unsulphered blackstrap molasses with every watering. Just 1 tablespoon per gallon. New experiment. If anyone has any experience with molasses feel free to drop a comment and we can chat about it. Im interested in trying new things to make the final product better. Die Pflanzen haben in der vergangenen Woche einen enormen Schub gemacht. Hab sie Anfang der Woche entlaubt und es hat ihnen gut getan. Licht kann die Pflanzen durchfluten. Habe einen Weinballon ins Zelt gestellt. Da bei der Gärung CO2 entsteht nutze ich das um mein Budget zu schonen. Eine CO2 Anlage ist mir zu teuer. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist durchschnittlich bei 40%. Kann es kaum abwarten wie die Famen sich bis nächsten Sonntag entwickeln. Werde euch berichten.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Overview The PCRs are flourishing, and the transformation is nothing short of spectacular. The tent is buzzing with energy, and every day brings new developments. The buds are swelling beautifully, and the trichome production is off the charts. This week has been all about maintaining optimal conditions and ensuring our ladies get everything they need to reach their full potential. Environment and Conditions Tent: 3x3, cleaned and prepped from top to bottom to ensure a pristine environment. Lighting: ViparSpectra P2000, delivering a perfect spectrum for this stage of growth. The balanced PAR output and efficient energy use keep our girls happy and thriving. Watering: TDS at 410, pH 5.8, and water temperature at 21°C. This ensures the nutrients are perfectly balanced and readily available. Nutrient Regimen We’ve kept up with our Aptus Holland feeding schedule, and it's paying off big time. Here's the current mix: Nutritional Spray: Aptus Holland NutriSpray to keep those leaves lush and healthy. TopBooster: Replaced StartBooster with TopBooster to promote flower development. P-Boost: Added to the mix for that extra phosphorus kick, crucial for blooming. K-Boost: a must for them to go fat as we like. The results speak for themselves – lush green foliage and robust bud formation. Defoliation At the end of this week, we performed a mass defoliation. It's always a bit nerve-wracking, but the results are worth it. Removing excess leaves ensures better light penetration and airflow, reducing the risk of mold and pests. Plus, it allows the plant to focus its energy on bud production. And let me tell you, after the defoliation, the PCRs look sexy as ever with their long legs and sculpted structure! Clones Update Our clones are thriving, showing the longest and whitest roots I've ever seen. We treated them with a water mix that included K-Boost and Mycor Mix at 1 gram per liter. This combination has worked wonders, promoting vigorous root development and overall plant health. Reflections This week has been a testament to the importance of a clean environment and precise nutrient management.
