The voodoo juice x platinum hermed this week so moved it to it's own tent. We have 6 plants remaining in the room. I cut out the maxigro this week. They are getting .5 tsp per gallon of maxibloom now. Seems to be keeping everyone happy. Not much to report other than that. Buds seem to be progressing pretty nice.

The buds are fattening and getting covered with trichomes very well, most of them are healthy and flowering at the same stage, orange pistols are already popping out, thinking about harvesting in a week or some.

Ow damn these ladies are almost done and we can not be more exited about these the smell is absolutely awesome and the buds look gorgeous. We started flushing yesterday so all the nutrients are gone and we now only give water with the awesome flawless finish from advanced nutrients and we will flush for little over a week and then we are going to harvest this is the first time we did a scrog and we must say that is was a good experience and we probably going to do it again really soon Talk next week Cheers, Nibameca

These are 2 plants, the biggest one in the video is getting flushed today i will harvest her in 5 days and the other plant can stay for 1-2 more weeks

An interesting discovery was made with this plant’s pot, I observed how having a row lesser of drainage drastically effected how I water this lady. Her grow medium swamps up if I maintain a 1lt daily water schedule, which would result in drowning the roots, luckily my grow medium has sponges up when wet, allow the slow irrigation to take place to avoid root rot. Luckily it’s spring time and in Mzansi(South Africa) it is hot enough to push my greenhouse’ temperature higher than the outdoor temperature, to encourage some form of evaporation and humidity, next week I will add pictures of the thermometers, and you can see the drastic difference in temperature.

End of day 42 flower. Her buds are definitely packing on more weight now. Flower time for her is 55 days so it almost time for chop chop. Probably start flushing around day 50.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. We are starting the second week!!! The girls feel good, they are growing like crazy. Tomorrow we will transplant them into larger pots (10 l). I also increase the fertilizer dose to 2 ml/l. Maybe I'll start LST training this week. I still keep the lamps at 30 cm, but I increase the light power to 70%. I'm full of enthusiasm, keep it up! Day 57. Think returning to good pH finally works, they are damaged a lot, but all first wave and few in this managed to escape almost without harm. Funky colours plants are most pickiest and that was proven again ... I always screw up with them ;))) Last heavy feed of Biobizz and only water. Max 3 weeks till chop and it doesn't matter if some won't be ready. My time to leave has come ... One Strawberry is making my heart sing, I knew SB will be special. I highly recommend her without even smoking ... Added few more photos to prove it. It's a big can and I am tall men, so this cola is NUTS ;) 9 week plant, I will chop her this Tuesday I think .... I have now 1400W in the grow room. Mars Hydro SP150 and SP3000 are in the game too. Hope it will rush girls a bit 😉😉😉😉😉😉 Those two totally frozen, white stem , almost dead girls - RECOVERED !!! Weed is insanely resilient plant. I know that it will be 5-10 g max, but still ... All branches white from frost, I saw such colours only when bud rot was eating them, those btw most probably doomed here too ... Happy Growing !!!

Week 5 of flower now and thy are starting to pack on some size and weight the smell is nice as well cant pin point what it smells like tho hahhaa.
