This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

How they looking Growers!?! Saw white tips developing on my babies and I just flush them last week to fix the problem. They bounce back and Looking Beautiful 😭. Yes gromies I gave her canna boost for the first time today I'm giving around 600ml de-chlorinated water every 2 days, il aways feed every 2 days spreading all different nutrients between them, get a nice balance, watering just enough so the coco goes dry after 2nd day well on top atleast anyway. Giving silica on its own once a week 0.5ml to 600ml water ph'd to 6. Removed a few lower leaves and pegged back 2 branches to make room for the many colas now coming threw nicely. Not sure how this grow is going! it feels slow upto now but she's well into flower now and the stretch is real... Added midweek.. I could feel her asking for phosphorus and potassium so gave her a little tickle of PK13/14 (0.5 To 500ml ph'd to 6). 1 feed. Going vertical and filling budding sites nicely. 😛. So after conferring with one of my dispensary-grower friends, he said that its likely because I had "dry patches", which essentially means, that certain areas of the pot were not getting wet and the roots down there were dying. After being more attentive about evenly watering, and a little defolitation, she's back to looking her old self. Even better actually. She's loving flowering, almost to the point of screaming to me "FINALLY!", and I couldn't agree more. Its been a chilhood dream to be abke to grow my own weed. So after all these years, I am beyond excited. Its so close I can almost *smell* it lol. SideNote: I also took two cuts for clones incase this bud turns out to be bomb.

Here we go, just about done now. Looking to harvest around the 30th. Smells great and is looking great as well

Today is day 74 since planting, so in theory I should have about 2 weeks to go. The taller plant will probably make that, the shorter may take an extra week or so. Overall, pretty boring week, as the buds are at the tail end of fattening up, should be right on the edge of ripening. The bud structures of the plant continue to be completely different, with the taller plant having a more typical sativa appearance while the shorter plant has dense, stocky nugs more like an indica. I'm just excited to see the end in sight. At this point in the grow I just want to harvest and start my next batch, but one of my growing mantras is " let the plant tell you when she's ready to be cut" so I will continue to wait impatiently until a vast majority of the trichomes are milky.
