They seem happy so far, the living soil is a bit more dense than I'm used to so the soil has been taking longer between waterings than I would like. I just gave a deeper watering with 2 liters. And I'm aiming to maintain it with 1 liter every 2-3 days. I add a bit to the bottom first to see if it sucks any water up. And then usually top water the remaining liter.

Hello everyone, Week 5 is starting today and the plants are okay. The hot weather makes growing Mary Jane very difficult the air conditioner is running full speed and jet the temperature is 30 degrees celsius or higher while the light is running on 50%. Still on the hunt for those cosmic snacks, it'll be awhile until I see some fruits but here we are end of week 1.. There's only one but she's popping! Took a bit longer than the other strains to sprout from soil but as soon as she did you could see some nice strong dark green leaves. I placed the seeds in 500ml cups with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil. These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots. My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot. As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant. Happy Growing!😃 🌱 🌿 🌲

This week I transplanted all of them and started lst training. Of all 3 strains I’ve got going, gummy buns defo has the best vigour and structure on nearly all of them.

Time to transplant! --- It’s been two days since both have been watered. --- To loosen and unstick the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom upwards. --- Once fully loosened, I simply Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant and flipped her upside down. - [18:33]: Gorilla Goat #1 dropped straight out of her cup! --- Hmm. Not as rooted as I would hope, but roots look white and healthy! --- The original Garlic Budder #1 pheno easily slipped out of her cup! --- Similar the Gorilla Goat, she could have more roots, but that’s okay. Each plant has been watered/fed, with a glug or two, from a 1 gallon mixture of 1tsp/gal floranova-grow (ph7). Mother plants are definitely ready for a pruning/cloning!

She’s slowed down on her stretch and started to produce flowers! She very sturdy and has very thick stems and sun branches. I’m intrigued to how she’s going to yield as she’s so huge and full of vigor as she was nearly a couple of weeks behind when I started her and look at her she’s a beast! Next I switch over to over drive for 2 weeks then initiate flush! So close but yet so far ya know 😉

Day 70: She now starts to develop her buds. Ill keep the feed constant and let her dry out a bit between waterings. Day 74: She developed some brown spots. Flushed and gave her a new feed. Dont now whats going on here. Hopefully it stops and don't progress further.

These all got a new home in the 4x8 just letting them settle in to the new pots and recover from training before I flip them. The pots are already proving to be better than the radicle bags these dont leak out the side so I can water faster but still have the same airflow. They also havnt made a mess in the tent leaking out dust like the other ones.

Startet the germination of this plants on 07.05.2018. 4 of 5 Royyal Gorilla Auto seeds germinated and are growing well. They are staying in my garden and i hope that they will get more and more sun this coming week. 1 of 4 is quit strong , and ist already frosty and has good buds , hope they will get big and fat. the other 3 plants are a bit slower and one of them is a bit small but bushy. first "outdoor" grow for me in a not soo sunny area.

5/17 Week 8 ... and the state of the grow is unsettled This grow has fought us since germ and it is showing no signs of giving in. Just cannot seem to find their "happy place" environmentally or nuet wise. They doing ok-ish this is not a big yielding strain no matter the ad copy but havent had this much issue with it indoors before. Starting at baseline with the lighting HID 300w 16 inches above Baba LED moved towards front of tent. Both lights tilted very slightly towards each other hopefully giving better dispersal. Still showing nitrogen sensitivity so reducing Bloom to 8ml/gal while increasing PK to 6 so PK does not suffer, will watch for deficiencies Looking at going considerably over on these now, nothing coming up behind them so zero space issues, see what happens. Continue to leaf pluck when one needs to go Evening feed 5/17: They look better and some experimenting with the lights showed me the angle tilt needed increasing and HID increased to 450w giving a total of 600w in the tent. See how long it continues Re-did the lights Had to drop wattage on HID due to heat even after a redesign of the extraction to eliminate drag on air movement. For 14 hours they will run at 450 watts but for 6 hours a day will drop to 300 watts. This should keep any problems from occurring. Just hard to run that Metal Halide at more than 300 watts in warm weather without AC which aint happening. HID to 300/450 watts, 13 inches above Baba at a 20 degree tilt to disperse light. LED at full 17 inches above Athena with a 20 degree tilt. Coincidentally that puts them at the same height. Added a 30 watt 2700K LED on Baba and Athena give them some more red. See how it works. Since flushing Sally per normal would be just no good for the twin Jane we are going to flush but then put the plants on organic bloom. So big initial flush with agent to clean out the salts then shifting her to light organics to continue feeding the twin without having to revisit the flushing issue. No idea how long the twin may go Baba will just play by ear on her, continue the light Bloom feeding keeping her PK up until we see the go signal from her. Hoping she goes a week longer than the others. 5/22 Lights to full weather is cool today and time is short Holding nuets here till new week then begin flush on Athena Buds still building nicely on Baba Almost forgot the twin: Here is the plan we flush the pot same time as Athena but on the next feeding we introduce organic bloom nuets for Jane instead of a flush as normal. We dont smoke so not overly concerned with harshness just want the pot clean. The organics will belay any further need of flushing. Best we can do 5/23 Need to start flush now so Athena and Sally on water only till I introduce organics to Sally. No agents Baba staying on feed

Plants are cruising through and stacking nicely. Brewed & fed flowering tea recipe & plants responded with some smell starting to feel up my tent. Blue Cheese definitely has some funky cheesy & earthy aroma. Afghan kush smell is the most exciting to smell these days as its aroma is something akin to a perfume. Can't wait to see what the rest of this week looks like.
