🌱 Day 36 - Start of Second Week Flowering 🌱 Hello growing friends! 🌿 Today marks the beginning of the second week of the flowering phase, and I’m very happy with how the buds are developing so far. 🌸✨ Since this is my first grow, I’m truly amazed by how fascinating these plants are. It’s an exciting journey! 🌱🤩😎 Last week, I struggled with yellow leaves and a calcium & magnesium deficiency. Fortunately, with the help of BioBizz Calmag, things are slowly improving. 🍃💪 Currently, I’ve set the humidity to 45%—according to my research, this is ideal for minimizing the risk of mold. 💧🚫🌿 🌱 Day 42 - Last Day of the Second Flowering Week 🌱 Hello everyone! 🌿 Today marks the last day of the second week of flowering, and I’ve made some updates to my routine. I’ve increased the nutrients to BioBizz Grow (3ml), BioBizz Bloom (2ml), and BioBizz TopMax (1.5ml). The plants are growing well and have recovered from the calcium deficiency. 🍃💪 I’m continuing to add a bit of BioBizz CalMag to prevent any future deficiencies. 🌱✨ This week, I also added some soil to the pots, as the soil level had flattened out quite a bit. I topped up each pot with about 1.5 liters of soil.

Starting to see little pistols so guessing this will be the last week of veg before the transition into flower. All in all Happy Growing

She just gets bigger everytime I see her. I'm excited to watch her grow into what will hopefully be, a beautiful flower filled plant. I topped every bud site on every plant, both indoors & outdoors.

Finally last stage of flowering is here 😁 In next 2/3 weeks she will be ready for harvest. Update: Day 93 It's like waiting for Xmas, you know there will be gifts but you have to wait for them 😂😂😂 Update: Day 97 The buds slowly start to show a colours 😊 But my phone camera is a total trash so at that pictures you're not able to see it... I start seeding in 17 October. 20 October all seed are germinated.The grow was so fast that i decide to start lst and topping after less 20 days( i get 5 nodes to all plants very fast ). LST will continue and i will add scrog soon! This This my first grow surprise me, the canopy grow very fast and seem thats it's all very good!! Comments and suggestions are appreciated!

At the beginning of the week, decided to increase the soil moisture level a bit. This was huge mistake.. Upgraded the reservoir and raised the height by 2ft. Also refreshed the lung room’s carbon filter. Bud growth was swelling up beautifully. But growth started to droop so switched the soil moisture back, but it was too late. The damage was already done. Thankfully this issue was fixed and by the end of the week all mothers are back to looking healthy and are thriving! More so on the positive side, finally have all that I need to begin my journey into tissue culture and plan to begin soon! Also, even though TKO was lost in the flower tent (damnit Ensign), she is still alive and thriving in the veg tent! So yea. A lot happened this week. Both good and really bad.. The filter is long overdue because I think this will be the first time in this room. --- Also swapped out the lung room’s carbon filter and changed the orientation from horizontal to vertical. --- Now the carbon filter is resting on the table with the exhaust fan point straight up. The slight downside is that exhaust vent is S-shaped which will reduced the efficiency of the fan, but that’s okay. --- As for the carbon filter, both units are refillable! Plan to refresh the old filter unit with new carbon before the next filter swap out (have a bag of fresh carbon pellets). --- Anyways! Now the tank is 24in higher than it was. Since the auto-watering system is gravity fed, this should raise the PSI slightly more. --- This also frees up some floor space under the table. --- While rearranging the Ecowitt WittFlow units, I discovered an issue with two of the units. --- Both the front left (Heady OG BX1 #1 mom) and back right (Gorilla Goat #1 mom) for the veg tent were malfunctioning. --- Shaka.. Still going well. She's getting a full dose nutrients now. Was not sure if she was suffering from potassium deficiency or burn, but now I'm confident it is a deficiency so I upped her feed. Hopefully this will slow down the shedding of leaves. She has 4 to 6 weeks left in flower so too early for total fade.

I consider this the first full week of real bloom, and she looks beautiful. For now, I'm just letting her grow. I don't want to defoliate yet, but it will happen very soon. I had no problems at all this week and enjoyed watching her grow.

Week 22 of our painful result on the mothers. Reveg. Is full on and the plants are all trying desperately to figure out how to flower again. A couple days ago I was resolved to the fact that this cycle of mothers was not going to be anywhere near our acceptable standards for a high quality bud harvest. We lamented and cried a little…. Then we got ridiculously high to numb the pain…. And then I had a brilliant thought! The whole purpose has been to pollinate clones this whole time. Now that our stable of clones are well into rooting and reveg. We can simply use the mothers for breeding instead and salvage a harvest of high quality buds with the clones! It’s not an ideal situation and will result in less smokable buds but that said (and as per the outdoor photos), quantity won’t be a problem this year as usual😉. I figure a week or two to see what happens with em and we’ll commence the sperm spray😎. We’ve also taken some additional steps and commenced with impregnating the Spliff strawberry on a couple of select branches. This plant is proving a beauty as expected - even despite a little fasciation she’s a monster🤩🤩. Method - we placed some pollen into a brown paper bag (both some SOG in one and some 707 in another. - we marked 2 branches with zip ties to keep track of which pollen is where. - we wrapped the branches in each bag and twisty tied it closed to the stem base for about 12 hours. - after remove the bags and to prevent further pollination on the rest of the plant we sprayed down the pollinated branches and then the entire plant with a light mist of water. When ur outdoors this isn’t perfect science and there will be some additional seed that pops out elsewhere. Regardless, it’s a guarantee the 707 is viable but I’m none too sure about the Skywalker stuff. It may have been subjected to moisture while in storage and could be inert at this point. No telln for a few weeks🤞. The dutchy system, despite significant time to set up has been better than expected - all the plants are happy, added a Skywalker clone to the mix for flowering as well. They seem to be taking to the Druid nutes just fine. Great system and she’s pretty much on cruise control right now👌. All told - the pollen chuck is not yet a complete failure. We’re definitely gonna have some cross beans - they only question that remains is how many different strains. Thanks again for hanging with the longest grow ever👍👊. Background/Repetitive Nonsense These plants will be the two mothers this growing season that will be utilized for stage 2 of the pollen chucking project. We’ll be taking clones and stressing the genetics for some fem. pollen using colloidal silver. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel with landrace genetics, we’re effectively skipping initial hybrid crossing and stabilization, going straight to the polyhybrid mix. I call it the shotgun approach to selective, unvetted and amateur breeding on a micro scale😉. These 2 parent strains will form the basis for 8-10 different F1 polyhybrid combinations and a further S1 back cross of each of the mothers. Not only should we be able to preserve the genetics for both mothers in feminized form but we’ll also be running an entire family of new hybrids after seeding out clones from each on the initial lineup of this summers photoperiods. Method is pretty simple here; once we’ve got our pollen off the two mothers we’ll be clipp’n clones on 4 select strains that have proven results from various respected breeders. We’ll be using those for pollination purposes in what is expected to be a 10 plant recirculating Dutch bucket hydro system. ***Update*** The feminization process didn’t take at all with the strawberry or the Skywalker so it’ll be reg. Seed crosses with only Skywalker and some other 707 Headband that we have in the vault. ********* Strain details: Parent strains for self pollination - Skywalker Kush by Reserva Privada Classic kush effects and earthy aroma. The strong kush element of this cultivar will compliment any cross. - Spliffs Strawberry by Spliff Seeds Incredible mix of flavourful terpenes and hard hitting high THC. She’s got some Herer as well as some Diesel in ‘er so an obvious choice for any cross as well. ***UPDATE*** The strawberry had to come out of this breeding run to wait for a better mother that hasn’t been attacked by aphids. It’s been a tough battle this season and we’ve had to make a couple of heartbreaking sacrifices already. Parent Strains for cross pollination ***UPDATE*** We added another 2 strains to the mix just in case we need to spot swap for some more variety. - Ghost Train by AMS Seeds A cross of Alien OG x Ghost Train Haze. Never tried the strain but I’ve heard only good things. This one might be worth mixing with the Strawberry so we’ll see how it goes. ***UPDATE*** Sadly - the ghost train turned out to be an auto so cloning her out as part of the breeding project is a no-go. Really disappointed about this but at least we still have a ready backup strain on the lost coast og to take her place. - Boogie Nights by AMS Seeds A cross of Kalijah, aka afghani/skunk/diesel/blue heaven X Juanita, aka NYC Diesel/Reina Madre). No idea here so naturally I’m interested😉. ************** - Lost Coast OG by Emerald Triangle Pakistani Kush x Lemon Thai x Chemdawg #4. Essentially a classic, west coast combo of landrace kush genetics that Cali is famous for, mixed with hard hitting Chemdawg #4. ***UPDATE*** The Lost Coast is a winner of a plant. Still outdoors and in veg. Looks like it’s recovered from the aphid attack. Might consider trying to take another cut of this and just rooting it in a pot for pollination. At this point, what the hell and if we could salvage anything it would be a positive. ***** - Spliffs Blueberry by Spliff Seeds (Chocolate Thai x Afghani #1 x Highland Oaxaca) x Northern Lighhts Special. Only 1 bean of this left and the whole purpose is to blend the best of Spliffs Berry strains as a tribute. Awesome breeder and they’ve been very kind to us over the years. - Northern Light by Royal Queen Seeds NL means nuff said. A combo of 11 unknown strains believed to originate from the west coast of North America. This cultivar is a great take on these classic genetics and a perfect compliment to just about any cross. A biased fave of ours.👍 - White Widow by Seedsman Brazilian Sativa x South Indian Indica. This classic strain has been unluckily elusive for us the last couple years. We know the quality of seedsmans version of this cultivar having grown it in the past. Sadly, a very strong performer that never made it to harvest due to an uncontrollable aphid infestation. And we’re only at step 1.... still gonna need an assist with pheno hunting all of the crosses so if anyone’s interested in running the testers (when we finally get to that point) just let me know👍😎. Gonna be a Dope ass summer project and can’t wait to see it in full swing🤟. Thanks for stopp’n in y’all👊

This #40 and #42 plants from Ganja Farmer Seeds where the best out of them all, this is a bias review though as they where not all grown in the same bucket system as these two and thus could not grow to their true potential. The bugs where solid rock hard and crystaly They are true keepers if your wanted a good performing auto for shits and giggle outdoors. The major downside is how easily they got pests and how the pests preferred them over the other weed plants. this is a bit concerning to me and makes me wonder why. Overall she grew good. No harsh reactions so I'm happy to put some bud in the jar. She vegged out 20cm and got to 35-38cm and finished with a lovely fade. Amazing scents. (More to come after some review next month. This pheno gets 9☆ the other 10☆ as the yield on my last Highcloudz was like 3-4x. But the buds are of a much higher grade. So, its a very high rating. Just sad there's not much of it. In saying that, now that you can change the rating I've no doubts I'll be giving it a 10 upon my smoke review.. I've fems left so ill be doing a SOG soon and this fem will defo be in it. 15+3-4 grams i quick dried. This defo needs a cure. The taste is so confusing, I get the scents of watermelon, typical zkittlez smell with a twist, the confusing part. Is f there's different smells coming from different buds. Smoking there is a very light panty taste. Very stoney, uplifting, very happy with when I harvested. Has much more of an energetic buzz with a nice mellow high. Very strong but not couch locking so things can be done. It kinda puts me in the zone. Been one of my smaller harvests. I have 2g left to keep out for 2moro day, I'll be putting this on 4-6 week cure. I'm gonna leave it out for another 12hrs or so. The stuff that came off the stems just now is very very slightly till wet. It would be able to put into the cure jar, but would need a lot more burping. So, id rather leave it to dry out properly and I'll burp every 12hrs, leave lid of for 4-5m and after a week, I'll slowly start burping it less. Knowing how weed dries you really can't set times on curing you go with how the weed feels. There is no hay smell. (I didn't have any worries about a hay smell. My drying room is 15c and 60-63% RH.

Day 55 - This week the plants started yellowing and spotting significantly. I'm hoping this is the normal color change before harvest since the flowers are fattening nicely. I added a second fan to the tent and have a USB microscope arriving today to check the trichomes.

Del 5 al 12 de julio Buenas a todos otra semana más. La cosa avanza bien y Esta va a ser la última semana que actualizamos únicamente una vez por semana, volveremos a las actualizaciónes diarias. Continuamos con nuestro LST diariamente. 8 y 9 de julio Usamos el quemador de azufre alrededor de unas 5-6h como preventivo ante posibles plagas. 10 de julio Hoy a tocado poda (bastante severa) podamos algunas hojas y seguimos doblando las ramas. Las dpblamps entre si, por debajo, por arriba... Por todos lados, es una salvaje. Las temperaturas están siendo muy buenas en comparación a lo que me llegan en cuanto a los indoors de mi alrededor y de otros compañeros. Tenemos unos 25 - 26°C en On cpn Max de 27.8°C y mínimas en pdf de 23°C. Preparados porque viene lo bueno. 11 de julio Regamos vía foliar 1 ml aceite de nem + 10ml spruzit + 1 ml de un producto que nos dieron para probar como preventivo e insecticida. De este mismo liquido inundamos la bandeja unos centímetros para realizar un riego vía absorción. ¿ Por qué ? Pues porque los trips se alimentan en la superficie pero viven en la tierra, y muchos de estos están en la parte inferior de la maceta por lo que no tendran salida estos bichillos. Mi guerra con ellos ya viene de tiempo atrás y quiero mantenerlos a raya.

Day 36 she keeps stretching and looks very happy i'm also very happy because soil PH is finally good, now it's 6.5PH after watering with 5.2 PH'ed water(with nutes in it) for the last several waterings. Light is 30cm away from the canopy ~850 PPFD Cut some leaves from center of the canopy for better air circulation and light penetration. Day 38 : watered with 2.5 L of water with nutes and 5.6 PH water, runoff water PH is now perfect 6.5 Day 39: She's been stretching very well, can't wait to deflate already(maybe tomorrow) Day 40: deefoliation day finally has come! And i'm so happy how she turned out after all. I did some LST to even out canopy for better light penetration and air movement! Note: she uses much Calcium - Magnesium (cal-mag) soo you definitely need to add it in your water.

This is my favorite plant at the moment, she is looking really healthy. I cut back on the nutrients a bit and next week I'll begin defoliating and lollipopping her.
