A 4 hour planned power outage in my area gave me the excuse to flip the girls. Kept the lights off for a cycle then immediately went 12/12. Although the temperature dropped to a root freezing 58°F, the reservoir didn't have a chance to fluctuate much and I also kept my air pumps running for an extra hour and a half off my computer backup battery! The battle with root rot is basically over. I am taking care to rinse the roots every once and a while. Growth has been amazing! Loving DWC! It also gives me things to do as I lie to pay attention to my plants. Doing a thorough clean with H2O2 every res change. PPM is around 800-900. Drops fast now. Every two days I check PH and correct if necessary. Usually it's been around 6.2-6.3 when I check. I PH it back down to 5.8. I've heard that flowering is a little on the acidic side so I'm planning on dropping my PH to 5.5-5.6. Did a major defoliation after this diary entry. Will do another in three weeks. Stretch has started by the looks of it. Hey everyone! Week 10 is here! (or 5th of flower) 😁 Both of my girls look like they are really close to being ready! (or they are already ready!) 😍 and I could chop them right now but I want to wait a bit more so buds can get a little bigger. This is because I forgot flower is shorter in autos and I delayed the doses a bit too much 😞. I hope this week's full dosage will help my babies to get her buds a little bigger 🙏 and next time I'll be more aware of this as I completely missed it. My goal is 70%/30% amber trichomes and I believe I still have some time for that! Besides what I mentioned earlier, this strain is amazing. They've responded quite well for all the defoliation I've done to them which is no small feat on an auto! 💪 Anyway, that's all for now. See you all really soon in my next update! After flushing, I let the pot dry out completely before harvest. The plant looks fully mature now, with excellent bud development and an extremely impressive yield. She finished covered in resin and exceeded my expectations in both quality and productivity.

Almost. I will give her a few more days to potentially fill out more. Real good production top to bottom, fairly even in maturity timing. Still very sweet, skittles smell. Really hoping I enjoy this strain, never been a haze fan. The purple definitely good be my fault, been some colder days and the tent is in a warmer weather position in the lung room. Resetting the tent after her, cleaning, new pots, new soil, and new opportunities to improve.

Learning to use BHO extractor for trimmings and shake. mean while plants are doing good. I have trimmed a lot.

At beginning of week 5, all three plants got 1.6 l of water with 2ml/l Matrix Enzymes. Next day they got nothing to drink. Third day of week 5, everybody got some Advanced Nutrients Jungle Juice, some Calmag, some Sugars and Silica with an EC of 1.9 in 2 l water per plant. Next day no water for the girls but Biotabs BoomBoom Spray on the leaves One day later they only got Calmag, Liquid Weight and silica. Next day again nothing.

Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. It seemed there were two very different phenomes. One had pink calyxes which was cool. One had extremely dense buds and the other were fluffier put had trichs on top of trichs. The last plant taken had almost all stigmas bright red. Very pretty plants. I wish I didn't lose so much to insects. I learned ky lesson. Next year floating row covers. This strain made it through septoria and a host of other problems including inclement weather and a thrip infection. This plant looked so perfect and it just seems like I'm losing a little more daily. I was hoping the buds would fill out more on the last one but they were INCREDIBLY frosty and had reached the date it said on the package. Not that that matters.

What can I say THC Bomb looks like it is gonna try to become a monster. It is really loving the Spiderfarmer SF-1000 light. I believe it is flowering slower, due to the persistent stretching still. Which is a good thing. I increase more blooming nutrition, and am lowering nitrogen levels. I also added a top layer of dynomyco for additional fungal action for flowering.
