~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #2 FBT #2206 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! ABxRKO is about 42.5" tall, and has been top dressed with about 3tsp of grow dots to give it a phosphorus boost in flower HBSS is about 26.5" tall and has been top dressed with about 2tsp grow dots as I believe it is fighting a phosphorus deficiency. She is giving all the smells, a bright red starburst like fruity smell with a stark citrus note.

Harvest, one plant no, it’s time to trim done this one was a good lesson.

- Really happy with her recovery this week from the topping and defoliation, she's starting to show some explosive growth. I think I might up the nutrients to full strength next week, does anyone think this might be a bit much of an increase? - Continued with some slight training, just making sure the main branches don't pop back up and that they are pulled down as much as possible to save on height. - Did some minor training of the new shoots towards the end of the week, just trying to pull them into the empty space and even out the canopy a bit. - She also seemed a bit more thirsty this week , up until now iv only been watering one litre once a week, this week I gave her a total of about 3 litres spread over two occasions.

I gave away 1 plant and the other got damage with a broken stem hopefully it recover. This is the only Skunk I am considering for now male or female I’m ready.

June 28: record rainfall this June and Gorilla Cookies Fast is healthy but behind schedule due to the weather. July 1: Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦 Starting another compost tea. So much rain I haven’t been able to add nutrient except by foliar spray. That has been working but she will like the compost tea tomorrow.

FBT2309 is doing great. She has grow a lot in a week. In a few days more space will open in grow room and that will help as well. The ladies are still doing great and stacking very nicely! The leaves do look very very dark green with slight tip burns, so I doses down the nutrients slightly from 1100+ to 950 ppm! The grow light makes the leaves look more light green than they actually are (check the night shots) both pheno’s smell like a nice and strong gelato (vanilla/gas) 💪🏻

Still waiting to see if Defoliating my entire room was indeed a good idea. Who knows? Not me. SBG? Maybe. I will know in a few weeks. Thanks for staying tuned

UPDATED ENTRY DAY 64-THE CULL:They have finally finished. After waiting very patiently and thinking this would go on forever, these fruity little beauties are done. I have now put them into the dark for 36 hours before I chop them and hang them for a low and slow dry ( approx 10 days at below 19°c and rh 50%) . I haven't used the Harvest option as I want to be able to complete the information correctly without going back and using edits. They have been a brilliant strain to try for my 1st ever auto run and I will definitely be on my list again if I do another. Their small stature and finish time are better suited to a more natural grow and mild lst for lights penetration i.m.o . I am looking forward to seeing their final yield as they feel rock solid on the big stemmed girls. Will do a full report once I have a final harvest to add. peace and live folks , see you on here in about 2 weeks total. 63: I thought these would be finished at this point but from close up inspection with my loupe , we still have mostly clear trichs in the house. Their overall look is amazing. opening the ten teach day and seeing them standing proud with their beautiful colours is a blessing. I love this strain for appearance and if it smoke like it looks , I will be a happy life long fan. #1 Is feeling nice and tacky when i touch her but also has a greasy feel too. she smells amazing of sweetness and definitely berry. Her size wont break any records but if I grew them again I would leave them to grow their normal height as #3 is. #2 is the nicest looking for size of them all and has me just staring at it when I get the chance. They are so close to the end now and it is killing me waiting.!!! #3 Is the girl left to grow after her very pale start and veg period sonos the tallest structure wise .She doesnt have weighty buds like her sisters but certainly looks good now. I think it is their last week now for sure.

Harvest Report – Blue Sunset Sherbert The weed turned out absolutely phenomenal! The colors were stunning – incredibly dark, almost black, with deep purple hues that really popped. It was harvested at Day 80, with about 20% amber trichomes – just the right timing for a balanced effect. Check out the pictures – they speak for themselves! Die Farben waren atemberaubend – richtig dunkel, fast schwarz, mit tiefvioletten Tönen, die richtig hervorgekommen sind. Geerntet wurde bei Tag 80, mit etwa 20% bernsteinfarbenen Trichomen – genau der richtige Zeitpunkt für einen ausgewogenen Effekt. Schaut euch die Fotos an – sie sprechen für sich! Got some phat girls up in here! Everyone is looking pretty good. A few of the plants are starting to ripen up while some others have at least a few weeks to go. Just filling the reservoir and letting them drink it. These girls show that simplicity isn't always a bad thing. I pulled the slurricane 7 from the system and started flushing it with plain tap water. It got a heavy 10 gallon flush today and I will give it 5 gallons a day for about a week. Just going to keep pumping the juice to the rest of them.

Another great week for these girl, since very wet days surrounded Ontario, I brought these girls inside and flipped them into flower, now on a 12/12 light schedule. They look good and ready to begin blooming, I have top dressed these babies with Gaia Green Bloom 2-8-4 this organic fertilizer consists in fishbone meal, steamed bone meal, glacial rock dust, mined potassium sulphate, fossilized carbon complex, rock phosphate, greensand, kelp meal, gypsum, and bat guano.
