The plant has started active flowering, feels good 💚

Good week... she's grown a lot, is looking VERY strong - #1's stem is already pretty thick for such a young plant.... so I think I'm going to let her get a couple more nodes on her and then top and clone her... #2 is a little weaker so I think I might top her this week. I've put them both on an aggressive veg feed and they're both responding very nicely to it... such a difference from autoflowers! I find it fascinating..... so much so that I tend to rather ignore them... for example, I think I MAY have given them a drink of something only 4 or 5 times in their lives (they've just celebrated their 4th week from seed)... never any complaints, never saying "hey, fool - pay attention to me!" .... I glance at them once a day and move on.... Still trying to decide where in my yard they're going to be planted - but I've got at least 4 more weeks before I'll feel comfortable enough with the weather to go dig a hole for them... SHOULD also start some LST, I suppose.... going to be relying on LST a lot outdoors so I can hopefully avoid the bud rot that plagued me last year... Great fun! May 4 - I've decided I'm going to top #1 today and stick the top in Clonex, into a RootRiot and plunk it into a DWC bucket ... so while I'll have these two plants out in the yard waiting for an October harvest, I can flip the clone indoors for an earlier harvest to see if I like the strain at all.... Hmmm... maybe I'll do that to both of them and keep one in veg while I flip one of them... This is kind of cool - I'm learning about all the possibilities growing photoperiods gives you... just amazing! I'm like a kid in a candy store! LOL! I'll put up a video when I top and clone... but don't take it as gospel because this will be my first time and I don't REALLY know what the hell I'm doing... just having fun and experimenting! May 5 - Happy Cinco de Mayo! Didn't get around to topping and starting a clone yesterday... but I've just now posted up two videos - the first where I'm determining where to top - and the second, longer one, where I place the top I've just cut off into DWC to clone... or ATTEMPT to clone! LOL! God knows if this is going to work... if you've got any comments on what I've done, hints for a better way of doing things PLEASE comment below! I could use all the help I can get! Should I, for example, chop off the lower fan leaves of the top? Or are they needed for the top to survive? I can't help but think they're a pretty big drain on the poor thing... #1, which is the one I topped, is really showing me she needs to get outside in the yard... her roots are starting to peek through the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot.... I THOUGHT a 2-gallon would be big enough to last at least a month and a half but..... I'm going to have to get serious about where to put these ladies!

11/26/23 - Day 19 - Today was water change day. By time I got around to looking at the plant I realized that a water change had already taken place. How amazing is that. I had to do nothing. I just wake up everyday to a plant much bigger than the day before. Its too easy! 11/28/23 - Day 21 - Today she is much bushier. It seems like shes is growing a whole leaf node out every 24 hrs. Really impressed with the color and size of this thing. I'm learning to expect great things from this Leaf growing experience. 11/30/23 - Day 23 - She keeps geeting bushier, maybe she has grown by about 2" since the start of the water change. Her color is the same all over, that dark but vibrant green. Because this is my first time growing an Auto in this box I'm wondering when I should top her. The branches are so close together. The last strain I grew had tons of room. This thing is growing like a bush. 12/1/23 - Day 24 - I did the first topping today. I took a video but its not uploading. Ill need to move it from my phone and upload from the computer.

Day 99 - Finally got to chop a plant! Chopped the cheese, did a rough wet trim and hung it all in my diy drying chamber (see video above). I knew I was going to be chopping one before the other, so I threw together a cheap unit out of a garment box I bought from a moving company. -It came with a cross bar, so I cut the box and re-taped it the way I wanted it, to conceal everything proper. -Then, I drilled some holes in the sides for ventilation and taped some carbon filter from my air purifier overtop to keep pests and dust out. -Outside of the box, I've got a Coway air purifier pulling out the smell and adding a bit of air circulation (pulls air passively through the vents in the sides) . -For added flair 😉, I threw some velcro on the flaps and built a thermometer/hygrometer into the front to keep an easy watch. They will hang from some clip hangers I grabbed, for a week or so, or until they're ready. Then I'll do a dry trim and time to cure! Super Lemon Haze is still plugging along and getting dense. Smells great, and although the leaves show a past of issues, the buds are looking amazing. Can't wait 'till she's done! It's really nice to have the extra space in the tent now too. It was getting a little cramped. Day 105 - Cheese is doing well in the drying tent. Stems aren't snapping quite yet, so will need a day or two more. Drying chamber is working great. No smell whatsoever. Super Lemon Haze is STILL GOING and looking good. Done with nutes now and watching trichs everyday. Buds are beefing up. The leaves are starting to fade, but the look and colour of the flowers is wild. Can't wait for it to finish up. Should be sometime in the next week or so. In my quest for the perfect modern grow room, I got my hands on a super cool device: SensorPush. Each SensorPush is a tiny low-energy-bluetooth thermomether+hygrometer. I have 1 sensor in the indoor tent and 1 sensor in the outdoor micro greenhouse. Both are connected to the "SensorPush Wifi Gateway", allowing me to access to the datas at anytime from anywhere in the world. SO COOL! I started to collect datas more than a week ago and it has been already so helpful, I noticed that every single adjustment (side fan speed, thermostat mix/max, window opened/closed, driver dimming..) has a direct and immediate impact on the environment, and being able to see the detailed live statistics is the perfect way to adjust the parameters. I had one important issue this week: my timer was acting weird and the light was turning on 40 mins while the plants were in the middle of their night, but thanks to SensorPush I was able to notice the problem immediately and fix what could have gone dramatical. I love these sensors so much that I've started to dig into the SensorPush API, and guess what: after a few minutes I was able to get the datas showing up on my webcam feed, so now my webcam app is also showing me the temp+RH!
