1st Day Of The Two Seeds I Planted Only One Has Sprouted As Of Yet

This is my first grow ever. I obtained a small grow tent and have sprouted seeds that are now in dirt. I have 3 now in dirt. It seems I have done much work in getting the proper equipment ect, its just there isn't that much solid information on watering your seedling at the very beginning stages after they grow tails and put in dirt. I have heard someone say that you should use a shot glass worth if around the center of the pot but directly in the center. Then ive heard people completely soaking the pot. I have 5 gallon fabric pots that i chose to use since they say to put autos in it's final home to start since they dont like to be transplanted which again, i have heard conflicting info about. I have 3 going but already kinda freaking out about if i didnt water them enough or too much. Anyway im learning and open to new info as it comes. UPDATE - I had 2 seeds pop up on 6/13 which was 3 days after planting the first seed and 2 days after planting 2nd. Humidity is high in the tent at around 76 which i believe is ok. I have a couple bowls of water in there for humidity and and small humidifier. I wasn't sure i was going to need the humidifier but got it anyway. I figure it may come into use at a later time as I am currently not running any exhaust fan as that seems to take the humidity and temp way down and im only using 1 light on the lowest setting. Im honestly just super excited to get a couple seeds to sprout out of dirt and would take that as a win. Im into this though and really hopeful for a good first run. Cheers.

At 95 days from seed, 40 days into bloom, she is still drinking about 2 liters (1/2 gal) per day. I am noticing new pistils being made on buds that otherwise look 3 weeks away from being ready to harvest. They were mostly observed on the highest parts of the highest kolas. This is probably a sign of light stress as it only the parts closest to the light. As I noted, my canopy height isn't very uniform. There is 8-10" of difference between the top of my highest kola and the top of my lowest kola that I wouldn't consider popcorn bud. I raised the light up so it was 16" above the highest kola. This means that its 24" to the lowest. Before I raised up my light, it was probably less than 12" from it to the highest kola. Not ideal but that is the result of not using a SCROG screen and my less-than-perfect training. I think I was stressing the highest kolas with light that was too intense. I've seen pictures of seriously deformed kolas before and I'm not that bad yet. I hope the shape of my buds remains typical and new pistil creation stops or slows. The light was probably too close. I don't think I did serious, long-term damage. At 98 days from seed, 43 days into bloom, she is still drinking about 2 liters (1/2 gal) per day. Not much to report today. She is filling out and looks more and more frosty everyday. Her smell is mild but really nice. The breeder's description of her sweet fruity smell is spot on The buds that were not closest to the light are looking like they are a few weeks from harvest. The buds that were closest to the light still have the new pistils that don't look anywhere close to harvest. It is high summer so temps are slightly higher than I'd like but it is all working out acceptably. Not much to do but keep changing the reservoir, watching her put on weight and waiting.

Super easygoing strain, and fun to grow. Looks like a nice yield but I'll have to update with weight after it's dry. This sweetie was grown in 6 gallons, from seed, under non adjustable lighting from seedling through harvest. Base nutes and cal mag. Ocean Forest/perlite in the bottom 3/4, Happy Frog/perlite on the top 1/4. Trained with a combo of scrog/lst techniques. The lights are two 50 dollar "1000 watt equivalent" Amazon LEDs, they say their max input is 280 volts though so I have no idea what grams to watts will be when the dry weight comes in. Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They've grown and grown since the last update so much I had to raise the greenhouse. Cinder blocks under the frame gave me an extra 16in. They're growing probably a foot of week and still reaching for the stars. I did switch to Athena's Bloom A & B and P&K booster this week giving 5-10ml per gallon. I really couldn't be happier with how they've grown up to this point. All in all Happy Growing.

Flowering Week 25: Structural Support & Purple Progress Update: 29.08.2025 | Day 17 Hey Growmies, Week 25 brought some clarity – and a little intervention. Remember those yellow leaves up top I mentioned last week? Lower leaves were totally fine, so I knew it wasn’t nitrogen. I posted pics and you guys came through – most of you called it: lack of potassium and phosphorus. So, I did something I rarely do: gave the ladies a mild dose of mineral fertilizer. Mixed a 2L bottle with normal dosage into a 10L watering can filled with rainwater, then split it evenly between both plants. It felt like a small gamble, but sometimes you gotta trust the process – and the community. I didn't want to spend money on organic fertilizers as long as the Tripart bottles are still full from last year. Biggest lesson this year? My compost needs more power. Next season, I’m amping it up with extra horse or pigeon manure to keep those nutrients steady deeper into flower. Strain Check Durban Poison: This girl’s gettin’ heavy. I’m constantly tying branches to my support structure to keep ‘em from snapping. She’s bulking up nicely, and the colors keep deepening into that gorgeous purple she’s becoming known for. The smell? Still pretty moderate – not overpowering yet, which is kinda surprising. Still not seeing much resin on the sugar leaves, but she’s a beauty through and through. Blueberry: She’s still reaching for the sky – definitely wants to be the tallest girl in the garden. Bud sites are becoming more defined now, and she’s slowly starting to form proper buds. Her colors are even more striking than Durban’s, deep and vibrant. Still no real smell to speak of, though. I’m thinking she’ll need until at least the first week of October to fully finish up. Next Steps - Keep a close eye on how they respond to the mild dose of mineral fertilizer - Stay vigilant for pests – especially as buds develop further - Check daily for branches that need extra support and tie them up as needed That’s it for this week, folks. Start of flushing for the blueberries, both blueberry plants have very heavy, sticky, stank buds, I'm looking forward to harvesting these beauties! Start of the last week of nutes for the super lemon haze, she has packed in the weight, buds have filled out nicely and stickier than the blueberries. She's still hungrier than the Blueberries, taking an extra 2 liters of feed each week. If the trichomes are showing cloudiness by day 5 of this week, I'll flush her early.
