Hi, i haven't posted for a while but i didn't forgot about the plant. I decided as i made mistakes from the start that i will have some experiments on this plants and still hope for some yield for the first grow. I cut her leaves down around 3 times now and every few days it grows all back. I see difference when i cut down the leaves that smaller branches under leaves are not growing that much as the ones that have the full acces to the light. Any comment is wellcomed Thanks :)

I am out of town for 4 days , can i place them somewhere behind the computer and will be they fine if i leave them 4 days without any light? Also, should i move them to bigger pots? I am thinking of a small bushy plants (later i will do LST) so will be 4 or 5 litre pot enough?

They can survive to 4 days without light , like you can survive 2 days and a half without water but I'm not sure it will lead to a healthy situation in both cases 🤔. Now concerning the pot , 7L is the minimum required for an auto and as your auto is a fast flowering one you should transplant as soon as possible ( If you only have 5L then it can fit , I already did it but the yield will not be amazing ( around 20g in my case ). A free advice for you , water less and make some holes at the bottom of the pot to drain the excess of water and avoid over watering ✌️🏼

The only 2 things that i am curious about is why are plants so small if it's week 5? Is it because i had left them in a very small pot for a long time? And also the leaves are kinda weird looking, what could be the problem?

I think there can be a few limiting factors here...i absolutely agree with the small pot, typically anytime I've given plants a bigger pot theyve outgrown the ones who had the smaller pots. I also think that topping and certain training will definitely slow plants down temporarily. I heard an old timer who's written a few books say that topping isn't necessary, that you can get the same results by tying down....I'm not entirely sure i agree with that, but i can see the lapse in healing time. Also being week 5, have you started thinking about adding in any sort of "grow" or nitrogen rich fertilizers? Or have you setup the soil with slow releasing products like a living soil? If not i think a plant will usually use up its available nutrients in only a few weeks. Happy growing ✌️

If you want to experiment with a professional LST technique, watch this video posted on the Youtube channel 420 FastBuds: www.youtube.com/watch If you like it for sure you will also appreciate this other video from SedanSeeds: www.youtube.com/watch If you want only use a simple LST and some other tips from another master grower, Mr. Canucks, look this: www.youtube.com/watch 😉 Good luck with your plants!

Hey Bro, i have seen the paper and electricity combo, I would like to sugest you build something more reliable if you like diy and or are on the budget, you can build your own grow box/tent in the size you like using pvc or metal pipes and readymade junctions and cover that with mylar, will be safer and better as you will have a reflective space, another idea are the space buckets all this builds you find easily in youtube. As for the yellowing burning leafs are you using any nutrients or a hot soil(soil with compost, castings and or with nutrient charge) ? Good luck, happy growing!

@CANNASIM, thanks for all information. Will update my grow and you're welcome to leave any tips in the future. :)

@Threecube, I did a balcony grow with this strain, started indoor, then move them to the balcony, not a lot of light, no ph water, soil was light organic peat moss perlite, an used a neudorf generic nutrient, yield was 20g, is impossible to anticipate your results. Patience is key.

@CANNASIM, Thanks again for reply. When i will start my other grow i will do it better, with more equipment, and probably with more patience haha. Right now i have 2 autos both quick one in one 7.5l pot. I will leave them be as i did enough stress to both of them. How much will you think i could pull out of them if i treat them carefully from now on?

Hi, I do not want to be the bad guy, but the cardboard box and a 40w CFL lamp are not a proper setup. If you want to obtain satisfactory results I suggest you buy at least a small grow room or something like this with a zip and a led lamp as soon as possible or if you have the possibility to transfer the outdoor plan. 😉

@Threecube, No problem, for me it's a pleasure to help, I'm a grower since last millennium 😄and it's a pleasure to share my experience. First I tell you that marijuana is a fantastic plant and you will get some buds even with extremely difficult growth conditions, even if you commit numerous errors, but if you do not want to waste 2 months and want to get better results I suggest you buy at least one full spectrum LED lamp. You can find inexpensive online, like the Mars Hydro or Meizhi both from 300w at a price of 50/70 dollars. The fundamental factors for a good growth are: 1 of course the quality seeds 2 brightness from a minimum of 10,000 lumens up (from 150w for LED Lamps) 3 Humidity (40-60% for autoflowering) There are other variables that affect the final result, but are not as fundamental as the temperature that goes well from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 30 degrees, or the amount of CO2 that you can provide to plants. In conclusion, if you want to get satisfactory results at harvest time, I recommend buying a full spectrum LED lamp as soon as possible. Continue to post your progress, and if you need help for something don't hesitate to ask 😉

@BedroomGrower, Thanks for your reply and taking your time to help me out. All this is so much fun for me but i am very new to this so yeah i made and probably will make lots of mistakes. This "DIY growbox" is not finished just yet. I am going to put some aluminum foil or reflective tape or something all on the inside, maybe a fan, e27 socket splitters, maybe a light or two more... I actually have 2 lights (2700k and 6500k) and on the package it shows you with small font 20w but right next to it it says 95w with bigger font. So does it mean that it only uses 20w but actually lights up like 95w light bulb? And are the watts that are always talked about (needed for grow, watts per sq/ft ...) the 20w or the 95w (i gave example from my case) ?

Also would like to mention if you use fertilzer start with 1/8 to 1/4 of the recomended amount until they are larger. Autos use much less nutrients than photoperiods. Be patient she will respond to a bit of tlc

@Philindicus, thanks for your comment. I don't use any nutrients just ordinary water for watering.

In the future it would also help if you would tell us what type of soil mix and amendments you are using.

hey, yeah it's kinda hard because i just picked some soil for flowers or something like that that was in basement... i really don't know i just know it has some small white balls here and there in it. On the next grow i surley will do some researches and pick the appropriate soil. I honestly didn't really know that soil was that important i just heard that it grows better in some others like coconut and stuff... Thanks for leaving a comment. :)

Hey there, invest in using some good lights, i started plants under some cfl lights before and if id have put them under the LEDs quicker they seemed to turn out much more healthy and stronger and faster too. I love kelp, silica products help build strong and disease resistant plants and i think mycorrhizal fungi is a great thing for all us soil growers. Good luck with the first grow.😊

For you ... the cheapest way will be neon lights or T5’s .... and it will grow my lil buddy 😊 Forget your CFL’s from Walmart 😅 Then , for a first grow , stay away from Auto’s , they are advanced genetics and won’t forgive you any mistakes ! @James, hey bro, perhaps you should put a Seeds section for Beginners or First Growers on RQS website with some super duper Skunks that will grow whatever the conditions, if you see what I mean bro 😊
