Trics pretty much all white now, still no amber but that will come during flush. Will be dropping nuets to half Monday on last feeding. 3/23 D38/F Last feeding at half strength but tossed in a dose of Recharge just to see if it matters. doubt it would but it needed using as it hitting its effective date. Week 3 of flower So we had a power outtage due to a storm that came through. Lost power from 10a-6p which is most of my day cycle. So there is that. The plants looks really well. Noticed a bit of spotting so I added some cal/mag with my last watering. Buds are hella frosty you can definitely see the Banana Butter cups coming through. Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 As you can see these ladies are growing nicely. They're both at the same height 59cm but one is wider than the other. Quite nice so far. That's 12cm in one week same as the Royal Gorilla. Evenly spread canopy, the one that had better shape from the start now has longer colas. Both are stacking nodes nice and tight. They have a nice green color to them but you can't really appreciate that in the pictures. I'm still trying to get a hand of this new phone, I might just go back to the camera. 🤔 Starting to get a little shine to them, I think this strain will be the first in forming trichomes. They give off a nice smell but I can't put my finger on it yet. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. **Info and pictures were taken at day 12 of flower.** Hope you enjoyed this week's update. Well I have to say even though I had a few temperature issues in the night that I think may have stressed them. They took a lot longer than expected but after drying I don’t know how but I ended up with some fantastic tasty buds a few of the plants even came out purple!! I have to say the purple buds are my favourite 🤩 fastbuds never disappoints!!!!!

Changed out the nutes. Dropped the calmag and the Silica. Using just the Plant Prod MJ bloom. Gorilla Zkittles looks to have one plant that stacking. The other looks like it may be smaller yields. Time will tell and density of the bud definitely changes the weight.

Laughing Buddha – Woche 18 | Blütewoche 3 Eine weitere Woche ist geschafft und ich glaube, der Stretch ist jetzt endgültig vorbei. Die Höhe hat sich in den letzten Tagen kaum noch verändert und genau das habe ich mir erhofft. Ab jetzt darf die Lady ihre komplette Energie in die Blüten stecken. Das SCROG entwickelt sich genau so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Die meisten Tops stehen auf einer Höhe und das dritte Netz hält inzwischen alles sauber in Position. Es macht einfach Spaß, das Blütendach jeden Tag anzuschauen. Diese Woche ist vor allem die Harzproduktion explodiert. Auf jedem neuen Makrofoto sieht man mehr Trichome und inzwischen sind selbst die Zuckerblätter schon ordentlich mit Frost überzogen. Für Blütewoche 3 macht die Laughing Buddha wirklich einen starken Eindruck. Auch die Blüten verändern sich jetzt sichtbar. Aus den kleinen Blütenansätzen werden langsam richtige Colas und die ersten Kelche beginnen sich übereinander zu stapeln. Genau auf diesen Moment habe ich gewartet. Nach dem Gießen habe ich wie geplant das BioBloom als Top-Dressing eingearbeitet und anschließend mit BioEnhancer angegossen. Der EC-Verlauf im Boden zeigte in den letzten Tagen langsam nach unten, deshalb war der Zeitpunkt für das Nachdüngen genau richtig. Die Klima- und Lichtwerte laufen weiterhin sehr stabil. Nach der Kalibrierung des PPFD-Sensors und einer kleinen Anpassung der Lampenhöhe liegt die Lichtintensität jetzt wieder genau dort, wo ich sie haben möchte. Jetzt beginnt für mich der spannendste Teil des gesamten Grows. Der Stretch ist abgeschlossen, die Grundlage ist gelegt und ab jetzt dürfen die Blüten Woche für Woche dicker werden. Happy Growing!

Day 73 ~ Plant 1 is looking great and hopefully will be ready to harvest by the end of the week. Been checking the trichomes and while most are getting milky white, there are still a couple sites on the plant where I find clear trichomes. Plant 2 seems to be about a week or two behind the first plant...I will give plant 2 their final Nutes tmrw and then begin to flush. From reading about this strain it seems like it should take around 90 days from seed to harvest. So I would think plant 1 is running a little ahead of schedule and plant 2 is right on time. Day 75 ~ Both plants looking and smelling amazing! I was hoping to be harvesting the first plant by this weekend, but she is still growing and her trichomes are still not all milky and I haven't yet to find an amber one. So it might be another week or so before I can start drying her out.

Welcome to my MilkyWay F1 Auto Diary, Untopped VS topped. Results are in. Days 71-82 ripening 0-13 week 11&12 Went well. She did bulk up a tad. But not much. They spent most their lives under a 100w. But, the bud is really dense all over. No larf, at all. Its a really good quality of bud I'm getting from both phenos. As far as ToppedVsUntopped well, that result is in. With a seeds used from the same pack (same parent) making true F1s as they need to be from the same batch. It why we all got different phenos, and those who ran more than 1, from their seeds, the phenos are very close. One of mine had more of a fade and looks more purple. Both smell very lovely & fruity. Nice trichome production with very dense but, rather small buds if I do say so. But the grade itself is very high. (As grade is not rated on size) overall both turned out very similar. Even fade wise, they've both developed a lovely colour finishing under high co2 environment with the SE5000 really has brought out a lot of fade i normally do not get. look at the start. It was only a few days under this light and the past 14 days they've both popped. I will also say. A lot of their life was spent under a 12-12 (3/5s of flowering). Topped VS Untopped pheno 2 & 1 Are very similar as I've stated this area will be filt in with harvest comments. Bud smell. How the dry went. And after a weeks cure. I'll rate it. So watch this space. These 2 phenos have been on just water for 10 days. I did a quick run off test. Got back 145ppm my tap is 110. So, they're good to go. Trichome wise. 95% cloudy 30-35% amber. (Hard to see, I'll try get pics with my scope) but, as you see. Both are fully ripened. Anymore and its just bud deg. Both plants leaves are showing end of life. Some are dying. (I'VE BEEN WATCHING THESE LEAVES AND SEEN THEY'VE BEEN DEAINED, ITS NOT BR) Lights The SE5000 was used for the Ripening phase. With high temps and co2 i pushed my boundaries and got a lovely fade reaction from doing so. How I know its down to this light as I've put my Runtz under it. And as soon as I did. It developed fade. My Frosted G even started getting light purple on its sides. The temp in tent has been pushed to 31-33c (that's not leaf temp as I've fans blowing on my plants, and that lowers surface temps by a few degrees.) They've been on 17hrs of high powered light. At 25-30cm id no choice. My temps are mad high this time of year. Harvested Both plants are been pult they're getting their last few hrs. You'll then see the last few pics in a few hrs. I'll get bud shots later, smoke reviews and then to be fair. I'll then mark it by the GD rating system. As I do with all my strains. (So I've 2-3 wk delay in my diaries as they're Harvested, mostly) both plants I'll try push them as far as I can through the drying process whole. But, as I'm dealing with high temps. Lower RH and a fastercl dry is pref to a longer dry in hot conditions might not make sense, but 30+ hot weather harvests, I've got this down. Mind you only this round all my other hot harvests some took a few weeks to rid the hay smell. This avoids it and locks in potency. Most of the drying is done by leaving the plant in the substrate just before the plant goes for itself for fluids. 4-5 day dry as opposed to 5-6 day dry with weed that loses half its stenght. (dry harvesting look it up) Thanks to James from RQS, although I know everyone and their sister got the offer for these seeds I am defo going to be trying more from RQS, if it's buying. I'll get round to it, and depending on the quality of smoke it might be soon. If its a real nice auto, I'd love to try a fem of theirs for my winter crop in October. But, that'll depend. I've lots I want to buy & try.. and when favs are found. I'll invest. I would like to thank everybody for the activity this diary has gotten. Its possibly one of my most active diaries I've done without a harvest. And that's in no short means down to all the views and likes from you guys. And for sure I will fully complete it, with results on the smoke Quality from both phenos, if it varies, but, results thus far, structure wise they're shockingly similar. Scary so. Topping has very little affect to the structure. She grew a main cola. But both phenos, turned puples I will say the topped one was a more troublesome plant. Maybe that had a role onin its morphology. And maybe it'll affect the bud also. The topped was more demanding nutrient wise, and drank more. Maybe to support a more even bud load. (I've yet to do a through inspection, but on the VS front, it's kinda in the air about quality, structure wise, it had very little difference. Look for yourself at the heights are 3-4cm dif) lots still to come. And I'll update it soon with more results. Wedding Gelato is growing beautifully, great branch development, I gave her the pre flower clean up to remove lower branches and leaves to increase the airflow and prevent running into problems in the lower area. The plant is doing amazing, she gets water + SuperVit by RQS like all the others, no fertilizer just living soil by Sonnenerde.

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. 26.1.25: I have had a mistake 😕 i spilt some Fish Mix as I was experimenting with a syphon from some aquarium tubing I have. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the syphon out! Ugh 😣 However, it is fish emulsion and very thick consistency. Therefore, I was able to scrape it up with 2 of my business cards up off the counter. So added this extra into the next 2 ltr solution I mixed. All plants were watered with at least 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3. Containing the following nutrients;- ♡ 3ml Seachem Seaweed ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 3ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag ♡ .25g Ecothrive Biosys. ♡ 2.5g of Bicarbonate of Soda as PH UP. Unfortunately I have broken my PH pen too. Accidentally submerged it under water, then the readings went crazy. I'm leaving it to dry by standing it up but I'm most likely going to need a new one, which is extremely annoying 😑 I'm going start implementing the Scrog net probably some point next week if I let the plants that are in flower to just grow up now, as I do believe that I stunted Watermelon 🍉 by using too strenuous LST. Hopefully the plants still are able to grow upwards at this stage during flower for all the Purple Punch P1, P2 and P3. We will soon see! 28.1.25: My PH pen has packed up 😣 I've got to wait to get another. It's super annoying 😑 so I'm just judging by memory how to regulate it. Unfortunately, that's my only choice! I'm also out of the dechlorinator 😕 things are not going very well this week so far 😅 I guess we will have to make do, until I can get replenished. 29.1.25: I removed all the plants, hoovered, and disinfected the tent. There were several accidents when watering, causing some debris and splashes. I decided to just go ahead and get a few other things done. It's crazy how quickly things can become neglected! 😣 So I defoliated moderately on all plants except Gorilla Cookies seedling. I have absolutely dropped the ball on my lighting situation! My light was much further away than I thought! I turned it up to 100% and dropped it down to just under 2 feet away. After I reset the tent, I set up my scrog net. I removed 80% of all LST pegs. I am planning on letting the scrog net take over the training from here. I really want to minimise the risk of mould, so I decided to start using my dehumidifier. It has raised up to 73% RH this week, so it's necessary. Hopefully, I will be able to get my dechlorinator and PH pen soon! That's kind of essential to me. It's been a little bit of a stressful day in the garden, to be honest 😅 30.1.25: So I am expecting the arrival of my new PH pen today, as well as my new bottle of Ecothrive neutralise. It is supposed to measure the TDS and EC in addition to the standard TEMP and PH, which I had previously. Obviously, time will tell if it's any good or not. I realise, much too late now, that my lighting is very insufficient for this many plants. I need double the watts at least, and coverage is very poor. I remembered I had an old LED floor lamp, which was in a corner being unused. I decided to take the stand off, and Zip tied the pole onto the tent pole at the back left corner. I have no idea what the wattage is, and it's quite pathetic 😅 but I mean, I might as well use it, being as I definitely cannot afford more lights! 😣 Next grow, I will probably only grow 2 plants, max 4, and just use larger 7-10 Gallon pots. Being as I ran out of dechlorinator, I only watered some plants properly because I only had enough to make 6 litres. When my pen arrives, I will get everything properly watered. 31.1.25: The leaves of several plants are showing signs of iron deficiency. This is likely due to my PH pen packing up earlier. I now have a new pen. Due to this, I decided to use my Seachem Prime, which I use for my aquariums. As I wanted to get them watered properly, and my Ecothrive Neutralise hasn't arrived yet. I watered each plant with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I added .25g Ecothrive Biosys to the water. May give them a breather on the nutes and just use the Cal-Mag and Biosys. Being as I've just topped dressed with rich fertilisers, I'm sure that will be OK for the next several waterings. Bubble Kush
