BudsPerMinute Week 1 Finally, they have come out of the soil, the journey begins. #16 broke through a bit faster than #8. Since there is still an Auto Euforia in mid/late flowering in the tent, the lamp stays at 70% dimming and the seedlings are raised a bit so that there is about 95-100cm distance to the lamp, which should provide a PPFD between 150-250.

BudsPerMinute Week 2 The plants are doing well even though the cotyledons are turning yellow for some reason. You can already see a lot of roots at the edge and bottom of the pot... Just to be safe, I added some fertilizer this week since the Canna Seed Mix is hardly fertilized at all... The plant is now growing normally again after I had dimmed the light incorrectly.

BudsPerMinute Week 3 Due to the initial lighting error, she's unfortunately lagging a bit in development. The first real leaves were so severely damaged that they're already dying off now. But that's completely fine, as we’re not in a hurry and she's growing otherwise. This week, the nutrients will be significantly increased, as she's already turning light green again by midweek. I'm now alternating between GHF BioEnhancer and AN Voodoo-Juice with each watering. Additionally, the leaves are slowly forming into a "U" shape. This is most likely due to the low humidity. However, since there's still the Euforia from the last grow in the tent, which is in the final stage of flowering, I can't adjust the climate this week yet.

BudsPerMinute Week 4 At the end of week 4, I repotted into 20L pots and watered with Voodoo Juice and CalMag! Now that the last plant from the previous run is out of the tent, we can finally set everything up for the little ones... lowering the light, adjusting the dimming, and increasing the humidity. From now on, everything should run perfectly again! At the beginning of the week, I watered the plants, and during that, I inspected the roots and have to say that the pot is really well-rooted already!

BudsPerMinute Week 7 This week, training continued until the middle, and then the plants moved to their new home. From now on, they will grow freely upwards and later be placed in a Scrog net. Unfortunately, the leaf tips turned very yellow by the end of the week, which most likely indicates a nutrient lockout due to insufficient drainage. Accordingly, next time I watered a full 5 liters until 0.5 liters of drain was produced.

This week I just watered and continued trying to fill the net with the initial stretch, which has worked relatively well. There’s still a bit of space in the back right of the tent, but I’ll fill that with the vertical stretch.

BudsPerMinute Week 10 This week I fertilized again with nutrients as the plant started to turn light green. Also, in the middle of the week, I did final Canopy Management by using clips and such to bring a few stretching shoots down so everything is as even as possible. #16 (on the right in the pictures) is what we call "character strong"; here I had to bend most of the shoots down again to keep it level. With its sister #8, I had to adjust the least so far, yet both are beautiful. Even though I didn't fill the SCROG perfectly in the 90x90 tent, we're still at 90-95%. Great result for my first time SCROG, in my opinion. In the middle of the week, I used PK booster for the first time, and from now on, I'm watering again with significantly more rainwater as I suspect the salt load in the soil will become too high again.

BudsPerMinute Week 12 Wow, what amazing plants! The buds are getting thicker day by day, and the chemical, gassy scent is getting stronger too! I've definitely cranked up the bloom nutrients. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on what you think is worse, I tend to be a bit too cautious with the standard nutrients. But that's another learning experience to take with me.

Sour Fruit Tartare F1 - #16 Dutch Passion

8.5 weeks of flowering and a whole 7.5 weeks of vegetative phase – that's a hell of a lot of time, but in the end, the wait was absolutely worth it! This was my very first run with photoperiod plants, a SCROG net, and 20-liter fabric pots, and what can I say? It was a complete success all around. The Setup & The Process: Canopy Management: The SCROG net was nearly 100% filled, and the area was utilized optimally. Root Climate: The plants thrived in the 20L fabric pots and always showed a perfect, consistent dryback. The Strain & The Phenotypes: This strain is an absolute game-changer! It impresses with extremely fast growth and a very strong, unique scent. It was particularly exciting to observe two different phenotypes that were identical in smell but an absolute contrast in appearance: Phenotype #16: This pheno developed extremely hard, golf ball-shaped buds. By the end of the flowering phase, the leaves had beautifully turned deep black. Phenotype #8: Here, massive, cola-like, and very dense buds grew, while the foliage took on an intense reddish color towards the end. Conclusion: All in all, this grow was a true visual and aromatic spectacle. Now the harvest will be dried in peace. I'll submit the smoke report at a later time!
