But our P.C.R.s have other plans—they're playing hard to get! Despite their reluctance, I’m keeping a close eye on them and patiently waiting for the perfect moment to give them a little trim. After all, a little pruning goes a long way in ensuring optimal light penetration and airflow, leading to healthier and happier plants. Defoliation is like a mini makeover for our plants—it removes excess foliage, allowing more light to reach the lower buds and promoting better airflow throughout the canopy. My Purple Kush is still the little guy of the group. It's so small, I don't think it's even started flowering yet, but that's alright! It'll have plenty of time to mature and do its thing. I'm guessing it'll probably be ready for harvest a couple of weeks after the others. I'm excited to see how this one turns out – Purple Kush is known for its beautiful colors and relaxing effects, so I've got high hopes! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

Hay good week the flowers have started to bulk up a bit .I've stopped the take root and started a low dose of explode . I've been taking a few more leaves an I've tied down a couple of branches to let the light get in . Lots of tricomes some frosty leaves and getting sticky and smelly .

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2017-10-01. New week and the girls have stopt growing in hight. Girl Nr 1 is 61 cm and Nr 2 is 39 cm. They are frosting and budding up. New pics and video added. 1/11: Fed today, but had no time for a photo sesh. All good. Systems nominal. 1/15: Was gonna feed today, but had no time... 1/16: Fed today...they were very thirsty... Took a few photos. Zenzations will be the first to finish..they are both senescing and smell great. Prolly another 14 days or so for them. Black Jacks and Gorilla Girls still have 3-4 weeks left to go.

Week 10 buds keep growing but the girls got some kind of deficiency… it started at the top of the plant … I’m almost done with the blue dream hopefully this don’t mess her up in her last week or weeks.. other than that she’s a big girl !!! The purple dream seems to be doing fine hopefully she don’t end up dying on me before harvest …
