Fighting the crazy humidity 😵‍💫 It's really humid but the Candy didn't had mold yet but others did sadly enough. I'm running two dehumidifiers in a small room at the same time it still wasn't enough. So yeah little disappointed but it is what it isssss let's continue. I still have a lot beautiful ladies going on I think so let's just focus on the positives:)

This was my first time growing a photoperiod and I decided to put her outside along with some autoflowers this past summer. I started Purple Shot Photoperiod Fem. from Exotic Seeds in a one liter air pot and moved her into a 5 gallon phat sack on day 14 when she was 2.5 inches tall.🌱🌱🌱 By the start of week three she was 6.5 inches tall and looking quite happy in her new five gallon home. A short while later she was moved outside to adjust to her new environment.☀️☀️☀️☀️ By day 35 she was 16.5 inches tall and developing a nice bushy structure. She started to flower towards the end of week 10. By week thirteen it was evident this girl was going to be making some nice tight lil nuggets 😁 By week fourteen I could hardly take my eyes off of her as she started to show her fall colors. ✌️😎💨

The girls are starting to wrap up their cycle. I have been watching the trichomes closely, and we are getting very close..Trying to pick the best day for both of the strains I have going at the moment, the Apple Betty are a little closer than the cookies, but they are very similar in readiness… I’ll be checking daily, I did get a wireless microscope for Christmas so it has become much easier to tell👨‍🔬 I’ve got mostly cloudy, with a few clear, but I am waiting for a bit more amber to give them the couch lock that I like when I smoke. Boxing Day was the end of week 8, so any day now! Happy Holidays Growmie’s! ❤️🇨🇦😎🎉

Well she grows pretty tall with a a big internodes distance. Started to flower. Wedding Cheesecake seems to like hot weather as she endured +40C like a boss! SHe also handles pests pretty well. While her neighbors are filled with spider mites, she's doing quiet well. I really like how she thrives in hot temperatures without any LST - a pretty big girl.

We've made it to day 28! - 17/12/20 The girls seem to be happy and healthy today. I won't be feeding/watering them as the pots are still heavy from yesterdays feed. A few of the girls have started to show sex & the smell has picked up a little bit(inside the tent), so I'm hoping to see some flowering begin this week sometime. (I've been using my iPhone as my only DSLR lens is useless for focusing on certain depths, but I hate the colour I get using the iPhone... I may be switching back to DSLR unless I can find a better camera app.) update - day 29 (18/12/20) Short update today. Fed the girls today and will probably be feeding/watering every day from here on out, we'll see though. veg growth has really taken off by now, I'm hoping to see some flowering this week. update - day 30 (19/12/20) I fed the girls today. I need to find a better way to hand water, the plants are so short and bushy its a pain getting in between all the branches. I wish i left my drip feed system up and running, I will definitely refine it and use it next run. Update - day 31 (20/12/20) Fed the girl's straight water today. I'm going to purchase the pieces I need tomorrow to reconfigure my drip feed system & hopefully have it running by mid-week! Update - day 32 I attempted to set up my drip feed system today but the plants are too thick around the base to place the halo around :( I will have to wait until next season to set it up, oh well, I guess its hand watering for the next 5-10 weeks Fingers crossed these girls start to flower ASAP. I fed the girls today, everything is looking good so far. I also moved the plants around to try to make hand watering easier, I had issues trying to water the whole pot instead of just one spot due to plants/branches being in the way. Update - Day 34 - 23/12/20 It definitely seems ill be watering the girls every day from here on out. All the girls look fairly happy and healthy, they're getting a bit big for the 5x5 they're in. It looks like flowering has begun on 2 of the girls, hoping to see some more progress on the others in the next few days. Thanks for stopping by! 🙏

First week of flowering going well still got a few leaves here and there that look a bit sad but overall they look healthy and are growing like crazy. Upped the nutrients to 900ppm. Still watering every third day. Got some 13” risers and 18” saucers that work incredibly well with these cloth 5gals.

🌱 Week 3: Mutant Magic—The Veggie Vibes Begin! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! We’re officially cruising into Week 3 of veg with these Mentha de Croco mutants from @TerpyzGenetics, and WOW, they are stealing the show with their funky, unique traits. The diversity in their growth patterns, leaf shapes, and overall structure has me in awe every single day. It’s like watching a gallery of nature’s art come to life! 🌿✨ This week, I’m excited to share something extra special—a photo showcase capturing the magic up close, featuring some incredible macro shots of water drops and reflections. Plus, I’ve included a behind-the-scenes video to show you how these shots came to life, proving it’s all-natural and no digital effects! 🌟📸 Tent Life: Keeping It Steady This week’s conditions remain rock-solid, giving these beauties the stable environment they need to thrive: • Temperature: Holding steady to ensure smooth growth. • Humidity: Keeping it nice and high to encourage lush, healthy foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED is still set at 200 PPFD, which is perfect for building strong, compact plants with tight node spacing. Consistency is the name of the game here, and it’s paying off beautifully. 🌟 Nutrition: Feeding the Funky Mutants 🌿 The feeding schedule this week continues with the amazing Aptus Holland organic-mineral lineup. Here’s the mix that’s keeping these plants healthy, happy, and thriving: • Regulator (0.15 ml/L): This is my go-to for fortifying cell walls and helping plants handle any environmental stress. It’s like a shield of armor for them! • CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Calcium and magnesium are crucial for strong stems and vibrant, green growth—an absolute must for mutants showing off their unique structures. • All-in-One Liquid (1 ml/L): The backbone of the nutrition program, delivering a balanced diet of essential nutrients for steady, healthy development. • Start Booster (0.25 ml/L): Packed with root-stimulating microbes and nutrients, this ensures the root systems stay strong and can support the impressive foliage growth above. Why I Love Aptus Holland: This organic-mineral line perfectly blends nature and science. It’s clean, efficient, and gives the plants exactly what they need without overloading or causing buildup. The results? Happy, resilient plants that thrive from root to tip. 🌱✨ Growth Highlights: The Funk Unfolds! 🌿 Each plant is starting to show off its unique traits, and I couldn’t be more excited. Mutant genetics like these are a grower’s dream, bringing surprises and individuality with every leaf that unfolds. I’m noticing: • Leaf Diversity: Wide blades, funky asymmetry, and new textures emerging. • Steady Growth: Compact, strong plants with great structure—perfect for setting up the next stages of training and growth. This week, I also took some time to capture the magic of these plants through photography. Using my trusty Sony and Nikon cameras, I snapped some macro shots featuring stunning water drops with beautiful reflections. These photos really showcase the intricate beauty of nature that’s so easy to overlook. 📸 Behind the Scenes: To top it off, I’ve included a video showing how these photos came to life. No tricks, no effects—just a little patience, the right light, and the magic of macro photography. It’s my way of sharing not just the plants’ journey but also the creativity and wonder that comes with it. 🌟 Grower Reflections & Tips 💡 💚 Observation is Key: Take time to really “read” your plants. Each one is unique, and mutants often need a little extra attention to their quirks. 🌱 Embrace Creativity: Whether it’s training techniques, feeding strategies, or photography, let your passion shine through—it’s all part of the journey. 💧 Steady Feeds, Happy Plants: The balance of Aptus Holland nutrients is keeping these plants perfectly happy without overfeeding. Light but consistent wins the race in these early stages! Shoutouts & Grower’s Love 💚 A big thank you to: • @Terpyz Genetics for these incredible, unique seeds. • @Aptus Holland for the nutrition line that keeps these mutants thriving. • @Future of Grow for the perfect lighting setup. • @Trolmaster for the best controls in the market. • @Grow Diaries for providing a platform to share this journey with the grow fam. • And YOU—the amazing community that makes this all worthwhile. Whether you’re a follower, a fellow grower, or just stopping by, your energy means the world! Let’s keep celebrating these mutants and spreading positivity. Until next week… let’s grow, let’s grow, let’s grow! 🌱✨ Genetics - Mentha De Croco https://terpyz.eu/products/menta-de-croco-fern-type?_pos=1&_sid=e9237cbcb&_ss=r DogDoctorOfficial Discount Codes @ terpyz.eu - DOCTOR 15% off Nutrition - @aptusholland https://aptus-holland.com/ Led Power @ F.O.G. So these Cream Cookies were really easy to grow! Almost too easy that I neglected them for a week or so and then found two of them covered in Aphids. We tried everything we could to save #1 & #2 but It was a battle that we eventual lost. They are in a bag in the freezer getting ready to be bubble hash. #3 to my awe and surprise has survived through thick and thin. Good and Bad. And will be my only smokeable "flower" from this run. That said I will run these again but inside in a controlled environment as it seems my FastBud Girls were prone to the aphids and caterpillars. Reguardless I'm super impressed with the structure and just look of the plant overall. Can't wait to smoke #3!!! The frozen bag of hash weighs in at 203g and includes the mutant #3 smoothie auto from my other diary which also was overrun with aphids. *Will update with dry numbers*

I currently have the ladies drying in my dry tent on day 3 now. I have my temperatures around 61-63 degrees stable, with 50-60% RH fluctuating. Will be updating the diary with weights once they finish drying and I get them all trimmed up! Thanks everyone for taking a look, super stoked with how my first run turned out and will be starting my second run in the next few days as well so super excited. I have learned a lot from this run and looking forward to implementing things into my next run to improve. Will also update more info about the strain once I have it for sure. I will be pressing some of the flower and all of the dry sift from the trim. So if you are interested in that as well feel free to ask. Thanks everyone for checking out my diary! Good luck with all your grows and best wishes! Dried for about 9 1/2 days. Just finished a 12 hour trim session, that was a lot. I ended up with 18.3 ounces of nicely trimmed buds, and a ton of larf and trim (26 ounces) which is fine because I will be dry sifting and pressing on the nugsmasher! I did press out a little and have some work to do to figure that thing out and dial it in. I have learned a ton from this grow and look word to applying to my current grow. I see and have a much better understanding of feeding, training, and now I kinda see what is and is not going to developed that much. Going to give these girls time to cure. Will update. Thanks As always tips and recommendations appreciated!

This strain was just what I was looking for. After the previous trauma of letting my plant grow WAY too tall, I went into this grow looking for something much shorter and manageable and this was exactly it. The tying down at times were a pain, but one of those things that’s better in the long run. The transplanting kind of screwed me up a bit. Not only did I not really fill the pot enough, but I put them in horribly. The soil was falling apart and it was just an ugly mess. Trying to OD the plants wasn’t part of the plan either but they bounced back just fine. All in all it was a very easy strain to grow. The dry amounts of each plant are as follows. Plant 1: 48.2 grams. Plant 2: 51.8 grams. Plant 3: 46.4 grams. Plant 4: 50.1 grams and Plant 5: 51.2 grams for a total of 196.4 grams (7.8 oz’s)

Harvest • Plants #2, #3 and #8 were harvested last week after spending one week on pure water. All were pollinated: • one crossed with Diesel • one within the line • Plants #4 and #7 were harvested this weekend, allowing them additional time to mature. Phenotypic Observations No particularly standout traits were identified in this run. • Semi-dense flowers • Weak aroma profile • Mature trichomes present, but without exceptional expression Result The cycle is completed. While the current run did not reveal strong phenotypic highlights, the line remains promising for further work. Next Step In the next cycle, focus will shift to more targeted selection and refinement of this line.
