Week 7 green space looking amazing

This week has been with tropical temperatures, just one day with the passage of a cold front dropping temperatures by ten degrees celsius... We continue to grow without problems and are waiting for the beginning of flowering... ☀️⛈️💪🍀😉

🗓️ WEEK 8 (flo) - HARVEST WEEK (56° FLO) 💧 Midway through this final week of flowering, I performed a complete DWC reservoir change. I replaced the nutrient solution with plain tap water, EC 0.4 - pH 5.8. This flushing solution was maintained for 4 days, right up until the moment of harvest. 🌱 On the 56° day of flowering (day 84 from the dry seed), the plant appeared perfectly ready for harvest. The buds are dense and glistening with resin, nearly all pistils have browned and retracted, and the trichomes show a beautiful mix of milky and enough amber. Immediately after chopping her down, I removed all the large fan leaves and I've decided to dry these too as they are remarkably full of resin. ✅ DRYING PHASE The entire plant was hung to dry inside the grow box, which was kept completely dark with constant, gentle air circulation for 8 days. The average VPD during this period was maintained around 1.2 (approximately 20°C and 50% RH). Once this drying period was complete, I trimmed off all the sugar leaves. These resinous sugar leaves will be combined with the already dried fan leaves and larf buds, and I plan to use them to make cannabutter for edibles. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT After the 8-day drying period, and once all the remaining small leaves and branches were removed from the buds, I weighed the final product: The harvest yielded: - 150 grams of dense buds. - 5 grams of finger hash collected during handling. For edibles: - 30 grams of larf. - A large amount of fan and sugar leaves. ⚠️ In the next coming days I'll update the harvest week with info about curing stage and a smoke review.

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! Congratulations!!! I will be contacting you to get the seeds with you!! Thanks for playing to all the others and better luck next time, I will give away some seeds again!! Summary: Cost of setup: 850 euro Cost of nutrients and soil: 125 euro Cost of seeds: None they were cloned Cost of power: 150 euros in the power bill Total cost: 1125,-- for setup and this run. I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Overall conclusion: I think we can call this a succes. Made back my investment, my cost per grow and we saved the environment. Thanks for all the love, tips and support! First week of flowering for plants #2 #3 #4 #5 #11 #12. The other six have been transplanted into 3 gallon containers to continue growing in veg until I harvest the first six. All 12 plants are female! ( lucky roll with regular seeds). Really curious to see which of these girls will win the first round of the pheno hunt.

08 Feb 2022 Update: Little check after I removed plant n.9 (the little 2nd blackberry banana), all 8 plants are beautiful, the colors of the leaves, the grow, the smell, the temperature, the humidity of the soil everything is nice and goes fast and strong 🤜🏼☀️🤛🏾 Light regime ☀️22/2🌑 temp ☀️22.5/28.5 🌑 17.5/21 humidity 59% All plants looks now gorgeous as hell hahahahha color and grow looks going good 10 Feb 2022 Update: After 30 days of life, for the "Wedding Cake" it's already flowering time! 😬

Shoot!!!! They’re beginning to thickening up, i’ve done some lst for 5 days and now they’re pretty good. I’m letting them grow and will begin to tie the other branches when they will be big enough!

Two totally different bud structures on these girls both Gorilla Glue from 420 fastbuds one is also frostier then the other as well both fed exactly the same, same growth medium, same size pot, same nutes...everything. Very cool to see how different 👌

Both plants look healthy. I keep defoliating every day and they keep growing new leaves. They are extremely bushy plants. I have elevated their pots as they almost don’t stretch and they are a lot smaller than the rest of the tent now. A trailers net is added to level the canopies end of 1st flowering week.
