I have decided to harvest a little bit early so spider mites don't come back and the weather is favorable for drying this week. After the chop, I also did bud wash with 3 buckets: 1. 5 gallons of water and a cup of lemon juice and a cup of soda bicarbonate 2. Warm water 3. Coldwater There were tons of nasty stuff left in water. After washing I left them to dry under a fan and shook them off to remove as much water as possible and then put back into the tent to dry with a dehumidifier and outtake on with 2 oscillating fans NOT pointed at the plants. Humidity is currently around 55%. After the first day of drying, I realized I will not be able to control good conditions in my tent for drying so I moved the plant to hang dry in the climatized room for a second day. During the second day, I trimmed buds and removed stems and then put them in brown paper bags to slow down the drying process. After 2 days of drying buds now weigh around 240 g, Humidity spiked to 87% outside on the third day and I had to constantly run A/C and a dehumidifier to keep the room at around 20 C and barely 55-60 % humidity. Grew tired of this so I tried something new from the third day. It's called Lotus curing and drying and works with any frost-free fridge. I put brown paper bags with buds inside the fridge at around 7-12 C and the humidity in the fridge is around 40-50%. I also have temperature and humidity probe in one brown paper bag so I can react if it dries to fast. Humidity is hovering around 70-80% currently and my plan is to manipulate humidity inside the fridge by opening it, adding moisture, or regulate temp so humidity drop as slow as possible. When it hits less than 72% when tested outside the fridge in the room temps I will start normal curing process in jars. After a week of drying in the fridge, jars are in the drawer curing right now. I sample tested one Dynavap bowl and flavor is decent with the sweet scent but it still needs a bit more time to be perfect. High was the same as my first Sweet tooth grow, the main thing I felt after finishing Dynavap bowl was calm and relaxed with time slowing down.

Mar 7 (day 78): Start of week 12. Mar 11 (day 82): Chopped plant.

The third week is over, and the ladies have finished their stretching phase. This meant one last trimming. I removed all the solar eclipses that were on a flower. This way, every flower receives light and photosynthesis is absorbed through the lower part. This way, I achieve maximum yield and no undeveloped flowers

She has some strange growth I'm not sure if I'll keep it or not yet, might just throw it in a 1 gal and see how it turns out. Just want to maximize space if it's not perfectly healthy I'll try somethin else.

Day22, Tuesday Week 3 Both are growing quick now. Might have to clip some of the big fan leaves blocking light to the lower bud sites. Day27, Sunday, End of the week both getting bigger an bushier and drinking a lot more. Hulkberry started going into flower, so I expect it to stretch during next week.

When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

Day 57 : AK was fed 2L with just Sensi Bloom A&B @ 2ml/l and Carboload @ 1ml/l . I backed off the Overdrive as i don't think it is time yet. The buds are still really forming and i don't want to burn this one as bad as cheese is showing. Day 58 : I found out that i've probably been feeding too much cal-mag. I spoke with AN and they told me that their Sensi products have enough cal-mag that i didn't need to be adding it. I've started seeing tip burns only in the past few weeks. I think adding the Carboload and Overdrive may have pushed it over the top with the extra cal-mag going in each feed. Lesson learned. Cheese is on water from this point on. I figure she'll be ready in the next 9-10 days. Need to start checking the trichomes as soon as my pocket microscope arrives in the next few days. Man am I ever glad I didn't kill AK off because it was taking too long to flower. That plant is going to be a monster. It has so many side branches and bud sites. And it's starting to put off some kind of funk. Giddy up ! Day 59 : Pocket microscope came in today. Can't wait to check the trichs later on. Cheese is really starting to smell more and more. 8 more days until she gets chopped. AK is fattening up nicely. She'll finish in 11-12 weeks for sure. AK was fed 2L this evening and is fattening up more and more each day. Cheese is getting close. Day 60 : Cheese got 2L of water, had a good look at the trichomes and this plant is pretty much ready to go. I should have started the flush earlier but i didn't have the microscope yet. Checked various parts of the plant and I am seeing mostly cloudy with a small amount of amber trichomes. I'm going to let it go 4 more days to try and give it at least 10 days of flush. Day 61 : Fed AK 2L, brought the base nutes down to 1.8ml/L and started Overdrive. I'm seeing some brown pistils starting to show up. Buds are filling out nicely each day. Cheese is getting frostier every day now. Only a few while pistils left per bud, many of them starting to curl inward. Not seeing any yellowing yet. Been almost a week of just water. 4 more days and she's coming down ! Day 62 : Fed cheese 2L water this morning. That plant is looking really incredible. So much frost ! 3 more days until chop chop Day 63 : Fed AK 2L, buds are filling out quite nicely. Some of the pistils are turning brown. Buds are not as fat as they are on cheese, however this AK seems to be a sativa phenotype so the smaller buds are expected. We'll see what the Overdrive does. Cheese is 2 days away from chop chop ! So much frost. This concludes week 9 !

Reaching peak flower now so added PK into the mix for extra Potassium and Phosphorous over the next 10 days or so. Never had plants soak up this much nutrients without any burn (touch wood) so I'm really impressed with the Vitalink range. Theis plant is at the front right of the tent, and to the left of the screen in the timelapse. Defoliated for the last time at the beginning of this week.

Night 41 - 02/11/19 Time for a new week again and damn has the Quick one stretched since last week. was 18cm 1 week ago and now its 30cm. im really proud of myself for getting this far :) wondering how tall its gonna grow lol. Still not much of a smell to the plant, i dont think its fully flowering yet. I flushed tonight again to decrease ppm further and rid the medium of salts. runoff ppm was 800 last flush. runoff ppm is 650 this flush with a ph of 6.34 compared to 6.22 (i think) last time. going to calibrate my ph pen after this grow :) hoping im near the harvest now as im having panic attacks when i get into bed at night, my mind is racing so fast :/ On a better note my other diary fast eddy may not be tall but is soon to be heavily flowering! finally i added a few videos and pictures and I was watching videos on breeding birds last night, completely fallen in love with nature and living things :) il see how things go but i might end up taking care of some cool animals! would be amazing to have them in the videos of my plants lol! will update sometime later in the week folks so take care until then :) Day 43 - 04/11/19 Quick one is 35cm now :) if it didnt go above 30cm by harvest then i definitely could have done better but 30-40cm is what iv think a good beginner attempt is :) if it goes to 50-60 il be excelling for a new grower :) the more the merrier haha! one of my chilli pots finally germinated today along with the diesel strain from my new diary :) Still no smell from this plant tho, maybe a slight lavender/veg smell. looks to me like it developed flowers and went back into veg hahaha. the next 4 weeks will tell i guess! keep an eye out for the next picture update, everything is looking great and im hoping for 20g of bud from this strain but il be happy with around 14g :)

Start of week 2. Everything seems to be ok. The bottom left and right seem to have taken the lead. I switched the two biggest plants into the center. And raised the pots off the ground to help with airflow and temps. Plants are doing good. Two centers are taking the lead. Using RO water. Currently watering when top two inches are dry.

Da molto tempo che volevo usarli e sono rimasto veramente sorpreso , semplici e concentrati ! Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. ​📝 Mes impressions finales ​Quantité vs Qualité : Je vais être honnête, même si les têtes sont bien denses, la quantité n'est pas tout à fait au rendez-vous. C'est un peu mieux que sa petite sœur, mais pour moi, une plante doit approcher les 100g sec pour vraiment valoir le temps investi. La Cherry Cola semble privilégier la résine au rendement. ​Aspect : C'est une merveille visuelle. Les têtes sont d'une beauté rare, totalement recouvertes de trichomes en masse, on dirait qu'elles ont été plongées dans le sucre. ​Odeur : C'est extrêmement fort ! Un parfum lourd, sucré et épicé qui embaume tout l'espace. ​Note provisoire : 8/10. J'espère maintenant que l'effet sera à la hauteur de cette production de résine incroyable. ​🙏 Remerciements ​Cette aventure n'aurait pas été la même sans vous.
