Lemon Cake week 18 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. Thanks for the visits, likes and comments, I appreciate all the plant love💚. [ Information ] For all grow information, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] (Flower) Day 1 - Light intensity increased to 65%. C02 increased to 1300ppm average. Day temp/humidity 85/70 (1-1.2VPD), night temp/humidity 75/65 (.8-1VPD). Fed a diluted compost tea mixture before lights on. Base water was R/O and tap water mixed lightly with silica and Tribus microbes. Tea was a mixture of Fish Hydrolysate, Bat Guano, Molasses, Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. 8 gallons of tea were added to 72 gallons of water mixture for an 80gal batch total. The batch was mixed for a half hour before feeding to the room. I did not PH or PPM test the mixture, organic material is hard to get an accurate PPM reading so the numbers are useless to me. I will be working to bring the lights to 100% power over this first week of flower. Day 4 - Light intensity increased daily, currently at 90%. Will raise to full power tomorrow. C02 increased to 1800ppm average. Temp and humidity for day and night are still the same. Lights were raised slightly to maintain 12 inches from canopy height, and a few growth nodes that were above the canopy got topped. Watered today with an 80gal (1.25gal p/pot) mixture, 10% tap 90% r/o water. 6.8 PH, 2.2ec. Foliar sprayed yesterday before lights off with a neem mixture for weekly IPM. Canopies are stretching relatively evenly, though I will be adding in support nets within a few days to help maintain the even spread. I've run this strain before so I'm fairly confident that I know what to expect during these few stretch weeks. Day 7 - Lights have been at 100% since day 5. C02 still 1800-2000ppm on average. Plants are stretching quickly into the lights, I have yet to readjust their height. The best growth usually happens when I do nothing, and I've done almost nothing the past couple days besides enjoy the unusually warm spring weather my area is currently experiencing. Watered today, 100gal (1.5gal p/pot) mixture, <1ec. Mainly an organic feeding for microbe health, also wanted a bit more runoff than normal due to the high ec feeding previously.

The plant showed some problem areas on the leaf, and the characteristic red stems appeared on the upper floors of the plant. I began to wonder if this was due to the PH level or not, but I added some PK 13-14 just in case. keeping track of the PH level when growing on soil is very difficult for me. On coco substrate it was easy there are still some problems with the humidity of the tent, because my ventilation with a pc cooler and a charcoal filter mat for the hoods can barely cope with the large vapors of the leaves

Since this is my first time around, before getting started, I took a week to finetune my freshly built setup. Took me a couple of days to get the parameters in order, mostly battling high humidity due to wet soil straight out of the bags. (Plagron Promix) At the beginning of this week i first put the pots in the tent (actually a 4 by 5) and started feeding the soil the myco alraidy. Figured it could be benificial. Them being autoflowers, I planted the seeds in the original pots and covered them with solocups. Watering mostly around the solocups multiple time per day wit a pressure dispenser. I took about 72 hours for the seeds to start germinating. Kept Par levels on the high side (350 and up day by day to 480 in the last days of week 1, probably less to the plants themselves because of the solo cups) thinking the strong genetics could handle it. All the while checking for signs of to much of it. That didn't occur, even after taking of the cups a day or two after germination. Nice as I am, I did not take any pictures, this week! But! some footage from the room where it all happens :)

This strain is very forgiving to say the least and would definitely grow it again. Only 10.5 grams away from 2 oz. I could’ve definitely gotten more out of these girls if I didn’t have two other plants jammed in a 2x4 grow space. I’m happy with my results. This strain is very loud with hints of lemons and gas. Highly recommended!

Day 22. Last 3 girls got final house. 20 liters pots for those late runners. They look sad, but maybe big house and other girls will encourage them to kick in. I took last NL away and now humidity and lightning are a lot better. Will drop lights down in few days, but not a lot ... 16 girls again in one room ;)))) I changed names of diaries, because I will try to finish them indoors ... Happy Growing !!!
