Yoyoyoyoyo party people! It's been week 2 of Flower, the stretch hit HARD! Starting at about 30-ish cm to 43 (with a lot of LST tho) developed an almost nice and even canopy already. Scrog net is always nice, and i highly recommend everyone trying it at least once! So far i only gave Plagron basic nutes and she looks great. I Like the product, contains a lot of product for the price, pH isn't drifting all over. With my light, i need to supply extra calmag, as you can see on the purple branches. I'm ashamed to admit, i've only done 2.5 reservoir changes in 12 weeks 💀 Please do it better. At least every 2 weeks! (or watch week 10💀💀) Already starting to smell something "sus". im excited every day looking into the tent. I hope i can even out the canopy as much as possible and then full on Blast with 40 DLI as much as possible. I adjusted both fans, so i have one below the canopy and one above, hopefully this will improve the wet spots that occur sometimes caused by the high humidity, caused by the high temps) Stats for nerds: DLI 30 inceased to 34 over this week VPD 0,7-0,85 (it was really warm, so i went with a lot of humidity, temps up to 34Celsius and rH 85 kekw Feel loved, take care of yourself, peace !

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. For now, everything is going okay. Some nutrients shortage, but they are fixed.

The Afghani x Mac1 auto from DNA recovered well from the training and is in full bloom. Bud sites are looking great. Had an issue with humidity this week and the leaves started looking rough. She got a dose of Recharge this week and drinks about 8-12oz of water throughout each day. All in all she's trucking right along. Very happy with how smooth this solo cup grow is going.

I took the tiny plant out of the tent due to state laws. She is happily sitting in a window... we'll see what happens with her! Massive growth for both plants this week! They both doubled in size! I don't know whether to call my plants vegging, pre-flowering or flowering. I figured this was the last week of veg and next week is full on flowering!! They both stink! Gassy for sure! I'll need to turn start using my carbon filter soon... I caught a few cool time lapse videos this week. Especially after feeding them last night!! I fed them twice this week. The first time was at a third recommended dose and I jumped it to half yesterday. The leaves are clawing at the top of the plants... I think it is a lack of phosphorus due to me only watering them the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts out there? I'd love advice about defoliating... I have a couple massive fan leaves I could remove to open the canopy for flowers... I just don't want to stunt the plant or rob the main cola of a major energy source... Thoughts are definitely welcome! I tried my hand at LST... I think a few are working and a few aren't doing the job... Definitely need to figure this out! Again advice is welcome! Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Health to everyone! 👋 🌿1 week has passed since the big defoliation and switching the timer to 12/12 mode. -Pre-flowering stage, stigmas have not yet appeared. We are waiting for the flowering to begin. -Very thick stems. -Appetite was restored by watering 5 liters per day (water 2 times a week). -No problems or shortages were found. -Every 3-4 days I remove several large burdocks (no more than 5), which greatly block the light. -Added Bud Ignitor and Bud Factor X to the diet. 🤙In general, a strong and large plant with good resistance, which is pleasing to the eye.

Week 6 of flowering, everything going well, very strong smell, all buds are very sticky & frosty 😃. #5 growing big dense solid buds about 5inches long & 5inches in girth & solid as a rock, very, very sticky. #A1 is starting to 🦊 tail a bit. Lower leaves turning a purple colour on some plants. Trichomes are still clear

A week of INCREDIBLE Growth! I've turned down the intensity of the light to encourage them to stretch more towards the net. They share the 2x4 with a Photoperiod that is now 50 Days old and flipping to flower... from here on the Orange Panda will be under 12/12 until she is ready to harvest. At about 22 days old, I think she will do just fine. Thanks for looking through my diary, make sure to watch the short video to get a bit more info in a shorter amount of time. I'm not the best with writing these up, and it's more difficult only adding PH water and Recharge occasionally...
