hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

I added the small cooler with water with some ice packs, now the water will be below 20° for a longer period (around 2 days with the same ice pack), I also added a couple of sensors with the Raspberry Pi to check the humidity, temperature, light intensity and water temperature sensor

I love how Blackberry grow, so vigorously and beautiful plant. Very easy strain, suitable for beginners, you just need to water and give fertilizer, its all u need. Plants look happy and healthy, all is well. Blackberry loves fertilizer so much xD=) always asks more))) Blackberry already flowering,now I can see amazing colors. The smell is weak. This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. Anyways, they finished amazing, sticky, stinky and heavy ❤️ the Terps are crazy on these strains….Harvest details to come. Thanks for stopping by 💚🇨🇦👊

Got a couple more days until day 56 (week 8) but just wanted to add a few things from this week. The flush is coming along nicely and getting some really nice colors to come out, Really excited for the finish. Just uploaded the day 56 pictures, shes looking beautiful!

Okay, that was it, her growth period is over. My summary is a bit of a mixed bag. Sonnenerde: I liked how the plant grew in this living soil and am curious on the result after drying and curing. But so far, I'm happy with the experiment Blumat: I give up - I fell like this is not the watering system for me, despite me really liking the idea and the concept of it. To be fair, I need to check the drippers, if the membrane and moving parts are spotless, to rule out reasons beyond my wrongdoing, but I'm not too hopeful. I just don't think I'll use it again. the water hoses/pipes(?) make the whole plant too immobile, not even turning the pot is possible. I'm sure it's great for certain situations, but just not for me. Bio Tabs PK Booster+Orgatrex: This time I used a little more Orgatrex, not sure if I changed anything else, but it really made a huge difference, even bigger than in previous grows. The aroma intensified dramatically, the buds were covered in trichomes and bulked up really nicely - and all that was noticeable after a few days.
