The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/3- Week Six is here and the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower by FastBuds is on a mission! Yesterday, I spread straw over the entire mound of soil and surrounding area to help keep the soil from drying out so fast and the watered with well water through a hose. 5/5- I'm noticing that something has taken a likening to the plant and is eating holes in her shade leaves. I went ahead and sprayed her down with Neem oil and will keep an eye out to try and determine what/who the culprit is. 5/7- Rain showers today handled the watering duties and all I did was to add some straw to a couple of bare spots on the mound. 5/9- I'm not seeing much in the way of any new damage to the leaves of the Wedding Cheesecake FF and I am continuing with the Neem oil preventative along with spreading some powdered cayenne pepper around the base of the plant to take care of any slugs that may think of trying a taste of cheesecake! There's another week gone by for this lady. The weather is getting better by the week and her growth is responding to it. The next weeks should be fun! Stay Blessed! 🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. Both plants make me supper happy!!

The Apple Betty babies are doing great 😊 I’m very pleased with the results so far, I just wished I would have known they would have such a large stretch, they D almost doubled in size in 14 days. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so, much more than my other strain that I have going as well. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. A quick snip here and there will really help the end result. At day 13 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, she flourished just as the girls in my big tent did as well. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing and large tops. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. I will be doing a defoliation next week. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Day 43. Girls are filing up nicely and the only issue i had with supercroping instead of heavy tieing - was one split, but both branches are fine and should hold large colas. Blue Dream closest to heater got thirsty first, so leaves a bit droopy. Girls got phed water today, next feed - molasses tea, then water and later full blast of nutes. No Root Juice, took out Cal-Mag too for now. In 3 days girls go to 24+ hours darkness and FLOWER !!!! Day 46. After 36 hours of darkness its always small rush to see your girls - they are just DIAMONDS ;)) Vegetation stage went like couple weeks, if not my stupid overboost of exhaust and low humidity i would save 4-7 days i think. So its FLOWER time, girls will get theirs feed tomorrow. Very impressed with Zamnesia seeds, let's hope next stage will be even better !!! Happy Growing !!!

UPDATE - Thurs 4th March The week has been fine. I am going there today so you may get an update this evening. Iv been posting on TheWeedTube also so I have much more videos explaining what’s going on. Plants are looking great. I got paid today so I bought an online fan to plug into the thermostat and pull fresh air in through a duct from a cooler part of the flat. In summer it won’t be as useful but to be honest I’ll probably just duct tape the sucky end of the duct to a small ac or Friday type thing, iv not really looked into it yet. Even a hillbilly cooking system would be better than nothing. ( filling a bucket up with ice, water and salt and put the end of the duct into that so it sucks in the cold air). We’ll see! Update - Monday 8th March All is well, I just want the buds to start swelling now. I found some awesome supports in Aldi. They are metal rings that the plant weaves through and has spikes that go into the pot rather than a scrog net being fixed in place. Therefore I can still move them and drain the run off.

24.02.2020-installed the 5th lamp, carbon filters, washed with clean water of 5 liters per plant and set it to 12/12 29.02.2020-I water 1 time in 2 days, according to the fertilizer-fertilizer-water scheme, gradually increase the ppm from 600 to 900, before going to bed, having a spray shower ;)

This grow has been sooooo easy apart from a slight bit of nutrient burn that you can see, she has been a pleasure to grow, she is taking longer than expected but i wouldnt have her any other way lol. Ive noticed that the pistils really turn bright orange even red 😁- i hope she tastes and smells as citrusy as she looks😝 - also getting frosty 👍 Merry Christmas Everyone!!😉

Week 16(8weeks of flower)

The grow on my Big Blue Cheese was beautifully satisfying. Not one deficiency or problem to report with her, she loved to eat as much as you gave her. Plus the size of her stalk and branches were on point, a perfect plant from the beginning. I performed LST, super cropping, and topping to create this 12 top beauty. Big Blue Cheese is a 8-10 week flower strain that I harvested on day 64, along with a 6 week veg to create this perfection. Recommended over and over for all growers with that sweet tooth craving 💯🔥💪000
