Day 70! They are showing signs of foxtailing due to the light intensity. Time to go!!! Temps, humidity, and CO2 are prime. I pulled the Super Skunk, the Maui Waui’s, and the Gorilla Glue #4 into their light deprivation area for the next 60 hours or so. It gets dark when i drop the Cloth curtain. I also have a Durban Poison already hanging. Got tired of looking at her about a week ago. I will post some close up pics with those HIDs off and some normal light right before i cut them. There are a few more ripening up in the flower room. They will all be done over the next 2 weeks.

I wasn’t planning on doing an update this week, but the smell of lemons on this so far is unreal!❤️ It reminded me of walking into my nans house when I was a kid, with that lemon bleach she always had, wow, this couldn’t possibly be from the bat guano?🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ve just ordered a few kilners to cure this for a good few months rather than the grove bags😍…. First week in water.

Following full strength full line of Cyco Nutrients feeding chart now and they seem to be growing Healthy and at a steady pace finishing up week 2 of feeding chart

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Week 5 flower both girls are doing good, one buds still seem to be getting chunky the other one seems to be coming to an end of it cycle the trichomes are starting to get cloudy on it none are really amber yet but I feel she’s in her last couple of days think I’ll start flushing her soon

Looking good few more day and i willl clean her up ,some defoliation been performed too

In the second week the plant has now started to produce its first set of single bladed leafs.

Things are looking great, I've put them under the LED this week so they can get used to it... and to get a better video quality :D I'm mostly hand watering at the moment one time a day.

God's Vagina seedling seems to have finally established its roots and begun to thrive. The clone was yellowing I belive from being root bound. She was transplanted today 04/27. End of the week update! 05/03/2020 God's Vagina was topped at the 5th node yesterday(05/02) First time ever topping but she seems to be recovering nicely. Will begin with low stress training on the clone soon in an attempt to keep both plants at roughly the same height. Yellowing on the clone is nearly all gone. Planning on keeping them in veg for another 6 weeks.

Day 93 - Fattened up good, getting really heavy....posted pic of test bud.... vid of the led uv globe i got on ebay... works awesome.... highly recommend...... 😎 maybe 1 more week.... they smell delicious, not very strong smell.... just normal water in bottom drip tray, dutch master one gold ....next week, flush em and next sunday pull em..... idk.... Day 95 - had a good look at both girls and worked out a harvest plan...... i've started flushing/watering on the smaller one, and sunday (day 100) will be her last. i'll leave the larger one (she's still quiet white) for another week and re evaluate her fate next week. Day 97 - 4 vids .... looks good 😎 getting a 1600x Camera Endoscope USB Digital Microscope from ebay, see if it will help with harvest........ 😎

Herbert: 1.25 gallons water, pH: 5.77, Height: 24.5 in. ***Both fed nutrients - 5 ml/.5 gal BioVega (3% N, 1% Phosphate, 5% Soluble Potash), 7 ml/.5 gal BioBoost (1% Phosphate), and 1 ml/.5 gal BioRhizotonic (0.6% Soluble Potash) Plants were watered on day 5 of week 9, as follows: Thin Mint Sr: 1 gallon water, pH: 6.76, Height: 20 in. Thin Mint Jr: 1 gallon water, pH: 6.50, Height: 19.5 in Notes: Thin Mint Jr has nutrient burn and so was NOT fed nutrients today. Thin Mint Sr was fed nutrients at 50% strength 2.5 ml/.5 gal BioVega (3% N, 1% Phosphate, 5% Soluble Potash), 4 ml/.5 gal BioBoost (1% Phosphate), and 0.5 ml/.5 gal BioRhizotonic (0.6% Soluble Potash) (both plants still in nutrient distress - in process of recovery but have some new growth that is greener so improvement is being observed; slowly but surely!) ***Plants ideally would have been transitioned to the flowering phase this week, but due to nutrient deficiencies and nutrient burn on Thin Mint Jr., we are holding off on this transition for 1 week to give the plants a chance to recover from stress.
