Getting to end of 3rd week getting ready for defoliation

This week I tried to let them go, only did some gnat hunting with the vacuum to keep populations down. Sunshine found a great way to hold the plant down with some thrift store Christmas light fixtures. At the end of this week, I tied the remaining upward stalks down and away. The final bits of training before we can hopefully go towards flowering coming week. I did some foliar feeding also to help the soil dry out a bit, also to fight the gnats. Maybe overdid it a bit with a few yellow points on the leaves. On to flowering!!

Frostbanger Plants 1-6 First thank you if you actually look at all these pictures that I photobomb with each week. Documenting six plants on a tester strain to provide ample information regarding the new strain characteristics takes a lot of time, work, and effort. I am so frustrated with Grow Diaries system doesn’t load pics or videos without error. When I load pictures, I am systematic and load every picture on that plant together, each video that I load first on the pictures identifies the plant pictures that follows. However, Grow Diaries puts the videos first, moving the picture out of order. I know which pictures of plant parts go with each plant, but with GD shuffling my pictures around good luck everybody else. This week I had so many errors uploading simple pictures that I had to go back and reload them. You may see multiple duplicate pics this time due to these system errors. Sorry about that but at least they are there. I will not do this level of photographs and diary support again. Purple Alaskan has turned into a beast. She eats like a hog and puts size on all day every day I'm running the solution at 1.95 EC and still cannot properly feed her. I just mixed the res with a solution of a shade over 2 ec and pH to 5.5 to account for the pH drift I've been encountering, first pistil hairs are evident now and I have been deleafing to try to keep intra-canopy humidity in check. I added a new Viparspectra P1000 in the tent to give 220w of power to give her the photons she needs without keeping the one light right on top of the leaves. Here comes flower!

Actualizamos familia, con la tercera semana de floración de estas Sherbet Jedi Joint de HighBreed. Gracias al LST arrancaron a crecer bien los satélites y va pareciéndose a un arbusto, tienen un color bien verde sin carencias por el momento y se ve que están sanas, las plantas están en macetas de 7 Litros definitivamente, con tierra top crop, con una altura similar a 55/65cms. Como los anteriores cultivos tuve visitantes(trips) estoy rociando aceite de neem y jabón potásico 1 vez a la semana, añadí también tiras de color azul / amarillo para prevenir y controlar mejor el tema plagas. El riego que aplicamos son 700ml de agua cada 48 horas y el ph se controla en 6.5, la temperatura la tenemos entre 22/25 grados y la humedad ronda el 55% gracias al humidificador. El mismo día que escribo esto el foco está al 100% de potencia. So this experiment is going terribly! LOL This ulitmately taught me a few important things about this sytle of growing. 1.) My Frequency was way to high in the beginning. When i start over next, i will be going for 1 hr -> Spray for 1 min -> Wait 1hr (Repeat) 2.) Never reuse hydroton or CC. It ends up having left over material and nutes in it, which not matter how much you wash just make the soil a land mine of nutrients etc. 3.) Do no use rockwool cubes inside the medium, they hold onto water for too long leading to rot. 4.) Fill the buckets up right until about 2cm short of the nozzles that spay. Otherwise you lose too much water and nutrients to the misting, which spreads your nutes all over the enviroment. Ultimately, even though this is a living disaster, I have learnt valuable lessons, and who knows, some of them still might produce smokable flower!

If you do not often cut off the weeds around your plants, then they begin to interfere with them and do not allow light to pass

I think they are going to start flowering soon, the little white hairs are going crazy now lol, didnt realize I wasn’t giving them nutrients 😭 so stared them on it hopefully they’ll grow even bigger. Been learning a lot for my next grow but all in all these babies are doing very well

This week the plants went through a lot of training. First, at the beginning of the week, the humidifier was taken out, the light was set to 4, and I applied worm castings to reduce the Ph level. Then two older plants got topped, and applied LST on the main branches. I rolled the main branches between my fingers to soften the branches until they are limp. Then tied down the tallest branch. Then, the rest of the plants got topped. By the end of the week, ALL of the plants were topped at the fifth node and trimmed under growth, up to the third node. This prepares them for top bud production and sets the plants into healing mode. Which will increase yield and terpene production. Note: the baby Lemmosa plants are very healthy and vibrant and young enough to withstand the HST!

03/24/2021 Been a slow transition week, starting to see pistils but not flowering been on 12-12 just under a week so expecting to see some flowers soon, gave some 4-10-3 with IBA so hopefully she is putting out extra roots before she starts to flower, I know my cuttings root better under 12-12 so fingers crossed. Hoping root & grow does the good job.

First week of flowering and its going great! The plants are still nice and green from the biogrow we gave some weeks ago, next steps is to give some guanokalong bloom nutrients and a small shot of green sensation from plagron!

Dropped RQS Diesel Automatic this week, she has not sprouted out of the soil yet, but its only been 4 days. I expect her to pop in the next 24-48 hours. I'll add new pics once she sprouts. Planning a slightly different strategy with this girl. no HST, only LST, and FIM'ing instead of topping. Looking forward to watching what happens. She is front-center in the group pics. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. By the way, I never had any germination problems with seeds from other breeders. (I don’t want to bad mouth any breeders, but the seeds that didn’t germinate came from a popular breeder/advertiser that is most commonly known by 4 letters). Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge and Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I also rotate each plant 90 degrees every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans here are to do LST bending only, no HST this time. Around 3 week I'll do a FIM cut/pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. I will also be doing some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope LST only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Setup: 1- Grow Tent 24”x48”x72” 2- Viparspectra 300W LED’s (1-V300 & 1-R300) 1- Hanging 100w CFL (26w actual) 1- Carbon Filter w/ 190cfm Fan & 4” ducts 1- 6” clip-on fan 1- 700w electric heater - oil filled radiator (in front of air intake behind tent)

Let say I don’t even know where to begin or how to say this but it more of a challenge w/ the fans leave. I’m like dang but of course got to keep the girls manicure and clean for they can strive to their full potential. I may have or may have not stress the girls out by cutting too many fans leaf off. Regardless I hope they don’t hermies on me . If did no sweat 😅 still will run this back . I only see em at the bottom bottom. For sure have to trims on the regulars… or every time open grow tent. According to Premium Cultivars.. the problem to look out for is trimming & pruning . Humidity Sensitive and mold/mildew. Sorry for late post or update. Outside of that working new 9/5 and doing my best to stay on top LPC. Will see harvest… stay tune!

I am waiting, and for the moment, everything is good! My plant looks healthy! I'm happy to see that :) I just started watering with nutrients, I'm quite worry about the quantity and I'm not sure about what I'm doing. For the moment, prevention is key, I don't water too much (maybe not enough but still ok I think) Edit: I stop watering with nutrients because it's bad for my plant(thank you guy for your recomendation!)
