Day 55 - 18/11/19 i still think another 1-2 weeks for this one, getting a jewelers loupe for the beginning of week 9 so i can tell exactly where were at in terms of harvest :) anyone got any thoughts on this little plant? have a look at the photos and videos and let me know in the comments below :) oh and i finally nailed what this strains smell is - tropical hubba bubba gum with cheese :'D Day 59 - 22/11/19 Got my jewelers loupe 2 days ago and ive been having a look at them. its pretty hard to see for a newbie grower. ive looked at harvest guides online and seen pictures of clear, cloudy and amber trichomes. mine look mostly cloudy (60%) and slightly glassy (40%) with barely any ambers. i may be wrong but the reason i think its cloudy is that it looks white against the leaves instead of see through or like glass. so going on this for my first trichome inspection im gonna harvest in the middle of next week. Smell is getting strong enough to stink out a room, still that tropical cheese smell, although its just so pungent it lingers in the rooms after bringing it out of the tent to inspect it. smell isnt a problem if you put it back in the tent and spray some air freshener stuff in the next room. the carbon filter is doing its job exactly as described along with the fan. The fan leaves started to get yellow patches and sugar leaves starting to curl. and a friend thinks its nearing the end of its life. I flushed yesterday and will flush again today to drain out any excess salts and nutes. Thanks for following along. im excited for week 9! Happy Growing!

Tag 40: Ich gebe zusätzlich Alg a mic in das Gießwasser zur Stressbehandlung. Tag 46: Ich habe mich entschlossen diesen Grow abzubrechen.

3/18 Week 12 Day 33/Flower Have a Norto virus in the house so being brief All looks good no changes at this time waiting on buds to say when Tricones 80% Milky 20% clear with no amber so at least a week to go before flush 3/19 Pics Lot happened overnight, looking like end of week for flush. Will continue PK for one more day as time for the last push here now as upped nuets about 200ppm. PK ends Friday, nuets will drop back 200ppm at the same time. Flush begins 3/24 Tuesday... 08:05 PDT ... 😏 3/21 Day 36/Flower Ended PK dropped CT to below 900ppm On track for flush mid-week which will be real close to Fast Buds estimate of 45 days. 3/22 D 37/F Pics Just waiting for the ripening and flush day next week. Trics pretty much all white now, still no amber but that will come during flush. Will be dropping nuets to half Monday on last feeding. 3/23 D38/F Last feeding at half strength but tossed in a dose of Recharge just to see if it matters. doubt it would but it needed using as it hitting its effective date. Flush begins tomorrow morning 3/24 D39/F Flushed each using 10 gallons PHed tap water and 5ml/gal flushing agent. Pics and vid 3/25 D40/F Runoff @235ppm about 80 ppm over the water ppm so looks like the pot is empty and we can cease the FloraKleen those roots are stripped and I am no rush on this flush.

I did try a new method to dry with this one (DryFermBags) weighted them every day and removed them from the bags after 10 days. She completely lost all the good smell and smells like hey now. 1 Of the bags also contained mold. Very sad cause i grew this pheno before and i love her smell.

The eighth week of flowering for the Cherry Cola RF3 is here. The Cherry Cola RF3 has burnt tips, I probably over-fertilized it, so I think I'll just use water for the next few waterings. The Gorilla Z Up is shooting up exceptionally high, forcing me to set the lamp at almost maximum height to avoid causing light/heat burn, which means that the other two below are no longer receiving the optimal PPFD. The Strawberry Gorilla is just starting to flower, so I'm 4 weeks behind with the Strawberry compared to the Cherry Cola. 👽👽👽

Blueberry Headband DinaMed CBD Plus Week 01 Flower End of first week of flower. Just gave first dose of Bloom. Roots look amazing. Will continue with Hygrozyme but will stop Tarantula inoculations. Blueberry Headband has increased height by about 300% while DinaMed is at around 150%. Has a little more than two weeks to catch up and stretch finishes. BHB will continue it's stretch for the whole 3 week period. New air pump (EcoPlus Air 1) has been ordered. Should be here in a couple weeks. Keeping the EC at around 12-1.3 for the BHB and 1.1 for the DinaMed. DinaMed isn't a fan of med-high nutes, I don't think. It seems to prefer on the light side. Also, turned the lights up from 30% to about 55%. Will up to 75% in about four weeks. Day 22 Flower (Day 64) Today is the first day of week four of flower. I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.2 water, but the left girl didn't need any. She doesn't drink much since the light is turned way down not to fry her canopy more than it already has. Unfortunately, her new tent didn't show up today — hopefully, tomorrow. I also put half of an avocado on top of the soil in each pot to feed my worms. It should be a nice little treat for my worm buddies. Most of my cover crop has died now when the girls are blocking out all the lights, and I really should cover the soil in mulch, but as I'm changing to larger pots next run, I would have to remove it again in about a month, so I haven't bothered. Day 23 Flower (Day 65) Yay! The new tent finally arrived today. It is still a tiny 40x40 cm tent as that is all I can fit inside the wardrobe, but the new tent is 40 cm taller. The plant really needed the extra height since she was pressing against the light and roasting the top buds. It was a bit tricky to get the left girl out of the old tent, but by combining some McGyverism with a bit of brute force, I got her out in mostly one piece. The damage from the light wasn't as bad as a feared, although three tops were fried and a few fan leaves. Not great, but it could have been worse. I took the opportunity when she was between tents and did some defoliation/lollipopping before moving her into her new space and giving her 1.5 liters of ph 6.7 water to help her deal with the shock of being manhandled. It is lovely to have some space again, and I was finally able to turn up the light to 100%. Now those buds can start to fatten up! All I did with the right girl today was to give her 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. Day 24 Flower (Day 66) The left girl loves her new home and looks to be bouncing back nicely. She didn't need any water today, but it was the first time a tiny weed smell came out of the tent as I opened it. The right girl in my main tent is further along in flower and technically should smell more than the small tent, but the CO2 bag still overpowers everything with its sh*t smell. lol I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.4 water today, and I also "shaved her legs" by removing some pointless leaves and branches low down on her. Finally, I started brewing some compost tea with the same recipe as last week (worm castings, rock dust, biochar, lime, bentonite, neem meal, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, and molasses). Still, this time it will be filtered as it is too soon for additional topdressing. The tea will brew for 24 hours, and I'll feed it tomorrow. Day 25 Flower (Day 67) All I did today was to feed each girl 3 liters of pH 6.6 compost tea as well as rearranging the main tent (moved the CO2 bag so I could move the clip fan, attached the ratchet hangers to the lights differently, and did some LST to get a branch out of the way) so I could raise the lights another 5 cm. Day 26 Flower (Day 68) Today was a really easy day. I just gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.1 water. That was it. Day 27 Flower (Day 69) I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.6 water today. I also took out my proper camera and tried a few quick bud shots. Just as an experiment though - handheld, no tripod, just the grow lights so no proper lighting, etc. Would love some feedback on these photos though as I'm completely new to bud photography and am looking to improve. Day 28 Flower (Day 70) The last day of the fourth week of flower and all is well in the tents. The left girl is 97 cm tall (12 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 120 cm tall (a 3 cm increase in a week). The left girl has been stretching this week since she got her new tent (which allowed me to turn up the light.) She certainly is loving those extra photons! On the other hand, the right girl seems done with stretching and is working on fattening up the buds. All I did today was to snap some pics and videos and give the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.2 water.

SUNDAY 4/28: I plucked off some dead leaves and did some leaf-tucking. The two remaining colas on the good one in the big tent (the one I had to chop off 5 big potential colas) is really starting to bud up now. She'll make a pair of 10" colas. The bigger one in the small tent still has the big curl going on with her leaves..doubt they straighten up. The new growth looks more normal, but still I'm sure the problem was that the soil was just too compacted for her roots to flourish. I'll continue prodding and poking with a skewer to loosen the soil and get oxygen to the roots. The smaller, daintier one that I had to remove a couple branches from is stretching her remaining branches now and starting to put on the pistils. Daytime temps are still hovering around 87-90f, but I've got them sitting in 70-72f temps for 6 hours of darkness now.😁 I did a little video today and I'll take a few "glamour shots" tomorrow. MONDAY: I think I phuktup the PH again because they are getting fed everything they need and still showing signs of various deficiencies. I douched everybody with 1/3 gallon including some boomerang, calimag, bembe, bud candy, and terpinator. No time for glamour shots... TUESDAY: I was busy again today, so no glamour shots.. WEDNESDAY: I did a little training today and finally got around to taking some good photos.😎 A couple of plants in the tent, adjacent to one another, suddenly got crispy leaves..(contagion?) THURSDAY: The 'contagion' seems to be spreading through the garden... I'm thinking maybe I completely PHuktup the ph when I added silica last time and didn't correct it?? Not sure...but it's sad..they're all gonna be less than photogenic for the finish... FRIDAY: I plucked some dead leaves and misted everybody with perfectly PH adjusted spring water and increased airflow in the tent. Also decreased the dehumidifier to 45% RH. I moved a lesser plant into the small tent and a better Candesia into the big tent.

I had to get a bigger tent as these girls were pushing themselves out of my other tent. I also added another COB to the tent at the same time. The plants are doing well and are liking their new home it seems. I need to defoliate the biggest one though, too many leaves covering bud sites. Might do that after work tonight as well as water. Back ina week.

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! The next phase will depend on how fast they continue to spread, and adjustments will be made accordingly. Closing Thoughts & What’s Next? This week was all about structural optimization—ensuring proper airflow, training the plants with the SCROG net, and keeping everything in balance before the transition to flower. The upcoming weeks will be crucial, as we fine-tune the environment, possibly introduce the under-canopy lighting, and prepare for the flowering stage. A huge thank you to our sponsors Aptus Holland, TrolMaster, CannaKan, Grove Bags, Ziggi Papers, and of course, Zamnesia, Plagron, and Grow Diaries for making the Eternity Cup possible.
