Muy buenas amigos!!! Como veis, vamos a comenzar el seguimiento de la Gelato Auto de Fastbuds. Nunca hemos cultivado autos y esperemos que nuestra primera experiencia sea aceptable para realizar un buen testeo. Según lo que tengo entendido, este banco tiene una de las genéticas más potentes dentro del mundo de la auto. En nuestro caso hemos elegido Gelato porque es una variedad que nunca hemos probado y nos llama mucho la atención, además de ser una de las variedades más potentes de este banco. En primer lugar, hemos colocamos una servilleta de papel de cocina húmeda en un tupper y hemos puesto las semas encima, con sus respectivas etiquetas para identificarlas, centrándonos en la Gelato (el papel debe estar siempre húmedo pero no llegar a encharcarse). Luego ya podemos colocarle otra capa de papel húmedo por encima de las semas para que mantenga mejor la temperatura y la humedad. Cuando tenemos las semas recubiertas del papel y colocadas en el tupper podemos cerrar este y dejarlo en un sitio con una temperatura entre 20 y 26 grados y a oscuras. A los tres días han germinado todas las semas perfectamente y confirmamos la efectividad de este banco 6/6. Aunque nosotros nos vamos a centrar como habíamos dicho en la Gelato. Decir que solamente nos hemos encargado de mantener el papel húmedo pulverizando cuando era necesario, y de colocar el tupper en un sitio cálido en total oscuridad. De lo demás se ha encargado el método del papel que nunca falla y la calidad de la genética... El último paso de esta semana lo hemos finalizado con el trasplante de las semas a los jiffys. Hay que tener mucho cuidado a la hora de manipular las semas, intentad tocar lo menos posible la radícula o raíz, ya que estas son muy delicadas y pueden coger cualquier infección o ser dañadas. Una vez colocadas en los jiffys hemos regado un poquito y a esperar con paciencia que salga... Hello everybody! Here we are a week later and I’m starting to see some nice improvements and developments. This week I fed all plants pretty heavily with Recharge and Dolomite Lime (and a little Cal Mag). The plants seemed to like it, the color is really coming back to a nice shade of green instead of the pale yellow’ish green. I’m also seeing nice bud sites developing on all of the photos. My autos are doing great too. The FastBuds Blackberry is a beautiful shade of purple and the Barneys Farm NYC Diesel is nice and chunky with tons of crystals. I’m going back to my normal nutrient routine this week and think it should be fairly smooth sailing from here. One negative is I seem to have inherited some bugs from my wife. She asked me to put one of her outdoor plants in the room so it would survive the winter, well it looks like that plant was infested with bugs. The little f’ers had a feast on some of the leaves. My wife gave me the OK to toss the plant, so with the plant removed it should be fairly easy to irradiate any remaining bugs with some sticky paper. I’d like to say thank you to all who answered my question regarding recommend reading on cannabis. I’m selecting the answer for the Grow Bible by Greg Green because I was actually unaware of that one. I’m familiar with the Cervantes and Rosenthal versions but not Greg Greens. I’ll be ordering that book after I receive and finish “True Living Organics” by The Rev (should be here tomorrow). This week I have a new question for my GD friends…. CO2? I have not been using CO2 but EVERY book I read recommends using it, I’m not prepared to go out and buy a CO2 tank, regulator, etc… at this time. Has anyone ever used one of those CO2 bags? Or do you have any DIY CO2 solutions you can recommend? I’m looking forward to your answers on CO2. I’ll leave you this week with another interesting excerpt from “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear: “I prefer to use high-pressure sodium lamps. With the exception of LED's, HPS lamps are the most efficient source of light you can buy, both in terms of light output and light spectrum. Having read nearly every book on the subject of growing pot, I feel that their authors tend to overemphasize the importance of light spectrum. You do not need to alternate between metal halides (for growth) and sodiums (for flowering). That is an oversimplification of the plant's light requirements. You may do this if you like--it certainly won't hurt--but I firmly believe that the gains are just not great enough to justify the cost of the extra MH lamp.” -Read Spear

🌿 Woche 8 - Zweite Erntewoche ️🌿 🌱 Wachstum🌱 Lady 2 wurde Ende Woche 9 also nach knapp 10 Wochen auch geerntet. Bei ihr kam Erwarungsgemäß mehr rum bei rum. 47g bei Pflanze Nr. 2 Die Mängel sind kaum noch zu übersehen. Ich bin überzeugt das die Pflanze zum Schluss ihr volles Potenzial nicht ausschöpfen konnte. Trotzdem haben es viele gute Buds geschafft und der Rest sieht auch rauchbar aus 😋 🌱 Living Soil🌱 Ich bin mit der Erde so semi zufrieden. Aber wenn man die Umstände bedenkt, und das eigentlich zu kleine Beet, für gleich 2 Pflanzen. Kann ich mich doch noch glücklich schätzen. Nächstes Mal vllt nur eine Pflanze 😜 Vllt hab ich auch hier und da was falsch gemacht. Der Blumat hat mich mitten im Run auch im Stich gelassen. Vllt war es hin und wieder doch etwas zu Trocken. Grade in der 2. Hälfte des Runs. Slowly we are getting to the finishing line, i would guess 2 or 3 weeks. She is doing very well, although she had all the problems at the start. The buds are swelling and she smells great fruity.

End of week 9 harvest time for the blueberry. She grew very well and packed on a lot of weight in her last 2 weeks. I will update this in about 2 weeks with dry weight and first smoke, taste, flavor review. This will be my last grow of this strain for a while. Update - Mar 7 - dry bud weigh-in 218.3 grams. She had big buds, nice density, but not as heavy as I had hoped for.

Week 2 went fast with zero issues from this strain it has become my favorite of current grows as of now based on structure, growth rate and it's overall healthiness. I have a feeling this is going to be a really nice plant by flower. I gave her her first worm tea this week and a foliar spray as well. Other then that I'm gradually pushing the light intensity daily hoping to reach my veg lights max output shortly without stressing it. Also rigged my light to move for me check out the video of it moving that mover cost me about 4 feet of tie down wire and that's it keep that in mind if your on a budget! You don't have to buy one if you get creative! Anyway I'm having a good time with this can't what to start training on the coming weeks. Second week of nutes given on Saturday nice bit of growth from the plants really stretching n reaching out now soaking up as much light as they can quite a few deficiencies showing been giving 1ml calmag ontop of the nutes on the bottle per litre of water , very cramped 1 plant taken out the tent to create abit of space currently 45 in there 2.4m x 2.4m would only recommend putting 36/38 plants it top capacity in 7/9 litre pots

Started to show some Phosphorus and / or Calcium deficiency. Flower comes on fast for this strain, gave her two feeds with an increase of CalMag and “P” from my NPK nutrient line and she looks great again. Such a short life span for this Autoflower strain, problems come fast! This is the end of her 8 weeks, tricomes are almost all cloudy with a few clear, she still has a bit to go before she is done. She is LOUD, ordered a new filter for the big tent to accommodate some funk I have coming up in ranks at the moment, more to come! 🌱😎💨

Everything is going good. Some are showing some sort of deficiency . Lowered lights a little bit. Going to start watering every other day. One of the critical thunder autos is like 8 inches tall lol definitely breeding her.

Very happy overall, had some difficulties hitting the sweet spot through the cycle but managed to pull it through brilliantly at the end. This is definitely a very deserty and cookie like strain. Oven baked freshness!

D65 - 23/03 Did a cleanup on the bottom part of the bigger girls, to avoid any issues in these last weeks. Not much to update, just watching them grow and admiring them gaining weight. Aiming for a 80~85 day harvest, so we got around 20 to go.
