Week 6 Summary: First off, Happy New Year!! Ciao 2018, may 2019 be filled with peace, love, joy and dank buds 😄😉 Day 36-39: Started off nice well this week, considering the amount of defoliation I did on day 35. Some more stretching going on here but not too much, except 4AM3 has a central shoot I couldn't find a spot to LST that just started to shoot right up lol. Starting to show some nice frost on Day 36 too. 4AM2 is already starting to plump up a bit, don't think will get much more stretch on that one, seems like it will probably harvest the least. I might have overdone the defoliation on it on Day 35 lol. 4AM2 is the one I decided to top for the hell of it anyway because it had a really wierd growth mutation. Still, with less main tops to produce it might be the best bud of them all 😅 Day 37-42: Day 37 is when I started seeing a deficiency I thought might have been magnesium on 4AM1. Pictures to show up top. Since their next feeding wasn't scheduled until day 42 I waited. Day 38 and it had spread a little on the same plant, and typical calmag deficiencies started slowly showing up on a few other plants(really tiny amounts). I posted on reddit and pretty much confirmed my suspiscion of a calmag deficiency. Since I am watering twice a week, once with calmag ph'd to 6.8-6,9 and once with blume nutes ph'd at 6.3-6,5. The calmag feeding was done on day 42( as scheduled at full strength this time so hopefully the problem will go away. 4AM2 hasn't been watered yet, pot didn't feel completely light yet(plus she had the most runoff last feed), will get her dose tomorrow. P.S. Really starting to smell like sweet berries! Mmm.. 😍 On to week 7!

End of week 4 and this orange sherbet is finally pumping and has almost caught up to her sister (which I stunted this week 🤦‍♂️) I haven't defoliated or trained this girl, im going to leave her el natural for now. On day 27 I added a big dose of compost tea and she loved it, she's now praying to the lights and I'm stoked she's stoked Today on day 28 I repositioned the thermometer in the tent as it was too far from the plants, the girls were getting baked and not the good kind, they're all loving life now. I hope you all had a good week and thanks a lot for checking in 🙏

Week 5 Marvels: Cherry Cola Auto's Grand Green Symphony, guys get ready for some exiting report, what a week , what a week <3 <3 <3 We've hit Week 5 of the Cherry Cola Auto adventure, and I'm buzzing with excitement to share the latest chapter in this extraordinary journey. Our green queen continues to defy expectations, growing at a pace that hints at the making of a true horticultural legend. Surprisingly, our Cherry Cola Auto remains in her vegetative stage, and I must say, she's growing into what can only be described as a potential green monster. The anticipation for the flowering stage is building, and the sheer size she's reaching makes me think we're in for a botanical spectacle of epic proportions. The ballet of bending continues, with a touch of finesse and a dash of strategy. Every branch is a brushstroke in this green painting, carefully orchestrated to maximize light exposure and encourage lateral growth. The benefits of bending are becoming increasingly evident – a wider canopy means more bud sites, and more bud sites translate to a potentially bountiful harvest. In my quest to create the optimal light environment, I've been selectively plucking away those shading leaves, allowing the lower branches to thrive. It's like pruning the excess to unveil the hidden gems, ensuring every part of the plant receives its fair share of the spotlight. The result is a vibrant, evenly lit canopy that promises abundant photosynthesis. The nutrient elixir from Aptus Holland remains the backbone of this green symphony. The familiar blend of Regulator, caMg-boost, Start Booster, and Enzym+ is like a well-practiced melody, ensuring the plant's nutritional needs are met with precision. And for an extra touch of indulgence, a refreshing shower of Aptus Holland NutriSpray was on the menu. Not that our Cherry Cola needed it, but a little extra love never hurt. Why all these techniques, you might ask? Each bend, each leaf pluck, and each nutrient application serves a purpose. Bending creates a balanced, open structure for optimal light penetration, leaf maintenance ensures efficient energy distribution, and the nutrient elixir acts as the lifeblood, fueling this green powerhouse. It's not just about growing a plant; it's about crafting a masterpiece. As we wrap up Week 5, the Cherry Cola Auto stands as a testament to the boundless possibilities of cultivation. The anticipation for the flowering stage is palpable, and the journey thus far has been nothing short of an epic green saga. Stay tuned, fellow green enthusiasts, for the next thrilling installment in the Cherry Cola Chronicles! So after consideration of the density of the buds and my night humidity levels— decided to chop a week early. Buds are super dense. Concern for mold. Very leafy lady- with massive fans She’s 10% amber but still some white pistols on the lowers. Very easy to grow. Stayed on the shorter side with minimal stretch—which is appreciated. I love how the Plagron Green Sensation is nitrogen free! I used it from weeks 3-6. Super helpful as the leaves were getting a little curl— even with minimal nutes. Will have harvest report soon. As terps can change after dry/cure. Happy with the results of the Runtz and Plagron! 🏻💚

She grew 12cm in height this week and a whole lot bushier!!! Day 42 - I trimmed off about 6 large fan leaves to get light to the lower bud sites. This is her last week of 20/4 veg lighting.

Supercropped, they are still recovering from a magnesium deficiency, really purple stems coming out of propagation tent, it also started to have a potassium deficiency but both were corrected with new growth taking off. New reservoir has; 32 grams Calcium Nitrate 20 grams Jack’s Hydro 25 grams magnesium sulphate 100mL regen a root 50mL Mighty Growth Enhancer 75mL of Humic and Fulvic Since writing, I realize I forgot to add 3% hydrogen peroxide USP ... I’ll add 250mL tomorrow... pH is high at 6.5 atm PPM is 1100

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . I'm not sure I'll go through all this effort of documentation here again, but please follow along on my instagram, stay in touch and chill out with me sometime @Fullmeltalchemist.00 All in all, I was running 1000w of quantum board across three tents and pulled just over 1100 grams, which was a big goal of mine. Thanks for all the advice and love growmies! And thanks growdiaries for the platform. It's been coo.

Hopefully she ends up looking pretty cool.Been better yet smoking even better.. We have a few more weeks of veg before I have room to put her in the flower tent .. thank you for checking out my page.God bless and happy growing everyone ✌️

Night 2 (after a 1.5h): In - 5.6 pH 40 ppm (1.0 l of plain water); Out - 6.2 pH 680 ppm (0.7 l) • Stats: Temp: 24.9 °C Humidity: 70% • Note: I was missing for 1.5 day and there are a lot of deficits, but look how big Heracles is! Tomorrow I will give her a Mg foliar and she will be the best girl ever. Day 3. • Watering: Day: In - 6.1 pH 1010 ppm (0.75 l); Out - 6.3 pH 760 ppm (0.35 l). Night: In - 6.1 pH 1040 ppm (1.05 l); Out - 6.4 pH 724 ppm (0.5 l) Night (foliar): 6.5 pH 224 ppm (0.2 l of MgSO4) • Stats: Temp: 25.4 °C Humidity: 71% • Note: No more plain water in feeding schedule. Showered Heracles with epsom salt, fed her two times (0.55 litres was not enough) tonight. I am so excited to see the difference! Day 4. • Watering: Day: In - 6.05 pH 1050 ppm (0.75 l); Out - 6.3 pH 702 ppm (0.35 l). Night: In - 5.7 pH 1130 ppm (0.75 l); Out - 6.4 pH 940 ppm (0.15 l) • Note: Well, it's almost no difference after using an epsom salt. Next week will be a big defoliation after Heracles reaches the net. I need a dehumidifier since it's still 70%+ humidity in the box. New leaves started to grow disproportionally. The flowering is coming. Decided to water on the low level of pH once to fix possible copper and zinc deficits. This grow is full of a new experience! Day 7. • Watering: Day: In - 5.8 pH 1140 ppm (0.75 l); Out - 6.2 pH 989 ppm (0.25 l). Night: In - 5.9 pH 1130 ppm (0.75 l); Out - ? pH ? ppm (0.? l)

NOTES: I stopped using the root stimulator as I fill the tanks, next full nutrient solution change to mid-bloom phase is at around 3rd to 4th week flowering. I'll I stop using the Grow nutrient and will increase Bloom the same amount. A lot of training on upper parts with the net and some light defoliating on lower parts of the plants. Day57 (12.12.) Day58 (13.12.) Defoliated and pruned my plants a bit more. Removed some big fan leaves covering large areas of becoming bud sites but mostly focused on lower leaves growing inwards, blocking growth, airflow etc.. Added a video afterwards. Day59 (14.12.) Day60 (15.12.) I continued doing the same as before, light defoliation mostly under the canopy. Day61 (16.12.) Day62 (17.12.) Everything looks good and my teenagers are finally beginning to flower, also no signs of any males or hermaphodites so that's good. Filling the net and keeping the tops and bud sites at the same level is a lot of work since they've stretched a lot. They've also needed some pruning and defoliating but I've tried to not remove too much before they've finished growing bigger. After that, propably on 4th week of flowering I can decide better on what to remove and what to keep for the rest of the grow. Day63 (18.12.) I started the last heavier defoliation process which includes removing around 50% of the upper leaves blocking airflow and light to the developing bud sites. I'll continue the process propably a couple days so I don't stress them too much. It's pretty time-consuming to dive in to each plant and remove anything that's unneccessary for the rest of the grow, keeping that in mind I don't even have the time to do everything at once. This includes the bottom nodes and branches that aren't going to reach even close to the net, the leaves that are blocking the light on top, and the leaves at the bottom of the canopy that aren't getting basically any light. Thanks for the tips! 💪

Early update from week 7. As hoped, she's doing great again. I just put in a lot of nutrients and she loves it. A little LST on the BPP2 and a little defoliation on the BPP.

Well this is a switch. The plant that was small has caught up to the bigger one and the bigger one is slowly getting better. Was having a issue with my tank temperature and luckily both plants seem to have avoided any issues. They both do have a bit of purple in the stems but it seems to be fading so I'm hoping that there issues are sorted out lol. Today is the last day of veg and the first day of flower is to come. If it goes a full 8 to 9 weeks I'll be looking at a March harvest. If that's the case I might be able to squeeze in a quick auto flower grow before the family summer vacation lol. The temperature has been getting warmer outside and the night time temperature hasn't been to bad. The humidity has been stay around 50% all week and thats were id like to keep it but we're expecting a lot of rain over the next few weeks so we'll see how well that works. I picked up 2 more temperature hydrometer meters with probes for the room. And with all the fans the air movement in the room has been great. Humidity and temperature is the same in every corner of the 8x9 room. I switched the lights from 24/0 to 18/6 this last week to get them ready for the approaching 12/12 light schedule. And because that is tomorrow I lowered the lights down so that tomorrow I just have to turn the lights up. I also emptied my tank and refilled it with the nutrients for flower so that the treys can empty a bit before I add all the new nutrients. I filled all the trays before I turned it all off so they would have enough for the night. Well that's all for now, happy growing and happy new years!!! Keep it growing!!!
