Buds starting to form!!!! Day 2 of week 8 4/3/25 UPDATE: Flushed with Fox farm sledgehammer ph’d at 6.8 Soils were low at 5.8 4/5/25 update: fed with nutes 4/7/25: watered with plain water ph’d at 6.5 4/8/25: did a slight heavy defoliation to get ready for week 9!

Final weeks are here! The up coming week will be her last feeding with nutes. Florakleen will come next followed by ph’d water and possibly a day or two of blackout befor harvesting.

This week I can see the bud sites starting to stack up — she’s looking happy and healthy. Whenever a big fan leaf blocks the bud sites, I just snip it off. I’m still fighting to get the RH down, though. By the end of next week, I’ll give her a nice fresh haircut.

Day 22- She stopped putting on height due to one night of a dramatic temperature drop. It's a cooler fall this year plus a freeze came through the night before. That night, I was up doing some studying when I noticed the reading on the remote display. N o telling how long it had been in the very low 60's. The problem was fixed simply by adding a heater to the room. Now, the temp is only in the 68 degree range for the final 2 1/2 hrs. before the lights are cut back on. Day 26- Her bud branches hav grown at least 2 -5 innches in length and have at least 2-4 bud sites already. Instead of Defoliation, I decided to actual two different types of LST. The first is simply bending to fan leaf branches under to expose the bud branches to more light. The main benefit is that you still keep the ability to absorb more of the light energy with them. I look at the fan leaves as your plant's " Personal Sun Panels". Since they store energy in the day and use that reserve to grow at night, why would you take something away for her that is meant to help her? Also, the second method I used is something I like to call" wind thickening". The technique is using wind resistance to train your plant's stem and branches to become more rigid by growing thicker to stablize itself. So, instead of a gentle breeze, I use a three speed box fan at varies distance. I started doing this on Day 22 and the results are definitely showing. The main stem went from 1/16 in. to a nice 3/8 in.

LST proved effective. Looks almost ready to switch to flowering.

So these Cream Cookies were really easy to grow! Almost too easy that I neglected them for a week or so and then found two of them covered in Aphids. We tried everything we could to save #1 & #2 but It was a battle that we eventual lost. They are in a bag in the freezer getting ready to be bubble hash. #3 to my awe and surprise has survived through thick and thin. Good and Bad. And will be my only smokeable "flower" from this run. That said I will run these again but inside in a controlled environment as it seems my FastBud Girls were prone to the aphids and caterpillars. Reguardless I'm super impressed with the structure and just look of the plant overall. Can't wait to smoke #3!!! The frozen bag of hash weighs in at 203g and includes the mutant #3 smoothie auto from my other diary which also was overrun with aphids. *Will update with dry numbers*

Girls are growing very quickly. Definitely ready to put into flower by the end of this week. These are the fastest growing ladies I have ever had the opportunity to tend to. The feed will be going up to 700 ppm before this week is done. I will also be adding some bloom nutes into that mixture.. Had some slight bleaching on the tips of a couple plant that were directly under the lamp. Reason being the darn ladies are growing so quick, and I forgot to raise the light one day..My bad... Thanks goes out to Kannabia for the opportunity to try their strains. You guys rock...👍👍👍 Sept 20 Fed the ladies at 650 ppm 1.3 ec and the ph was set at 5.5. Runoff came out at 700 ppm 1.4 ec and the ph is at 5.9 Sept 21 Girls are growing rapidly and ready to switch over to flower now. Most have hit the 18" mark now. Will be setting the timer to 12 12 today Sept 23 Fed the ladies 700 ppm 1.4 ec of floranova grow, ph'ed at 5.6 Runoff waters came out at 800 ppm 1.6 ec and the ph is sitting at 6.0

Continuing regimen of appx .75gal/plant nutrient top watering every 4-5 days alternating recharge .3-.4ish gal compost tea per plant. All other water coming from wicking bases only treated with 2ml/gal hydro guard. Lights are maxed out with us/ir 100% as well. All good so far. 👍

Sixth week over, not much to share - they are doing great, bulking up. I'm very happy so far. 2 or 3 more weeks. Probably 2 since they already look almost ready. Beautiful smell and looks. See you in a week!

Another week closer... The girls are doing well, nothing really new, besides the day we changed our clocks back I forgot to plug my control box back in and for all day they didn't get any water..didn't really do any damage but for one, where I got a little leaf dry out on a couple of leaves on one plant.. Hello Diary. Fourth week of flowering. The first thing I will point out is the amazing fruity scent of Fat Banana. I literally run out of saliva from the smell, I can’t wait to try the flavor.😋 As can be seen in the photos, the brown spots from last week have turned into whole yellow leaves with brown spots. 😟 I’m not 100% sure what caused it, but what’s possible is that she got too many nutrients. (Overfeeding) Considering the RQS pellets I put in the ground, and the amount of BioBizz I added, it’s still maybe too much for Fat Banana. 😳 If anyone is reading this post, feel free to comment on your opinion for the cause of such leaves.🙏 Since her roommates, Haze Berry Automatic, have the same treatment, and there are no such symptoms on them, I'm not 100% sure about overfeeding. Although I don’t add BioBizz every time I water, but when I add it, I put it on schedule for that week. Perhaps the concentration of nutrients in such watering is too high for this strain. Let’s take a look at what happened last week. 07/11/2020 - Day 44. Watering. I preventively added 1ml / l CalMg and regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.4 degrees and 44% humidity. 09/11/2020 - Day 46. Watering. Since I noticed leaf decay, I watered like two days earlier just by adding CalMg and I regulated p.H. at 6.4 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.7 degrees and 44% humidity. 12/11/2020 - Day 49. Photographing and watering. This time I added BioBizz as scheduled for the current flowering week. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.8 degrees and 44% humidity. Although Fat Banana shows yellow leaves and brown spots on some leaves, the flowers themselves have not been affected so far. We'll see how things go. See you soon. 🙌

A lot has happened in the last week. First thing is i harvested all the other plants in my garden. 2nd is i got a new light!!!! A green sunshine company electric sky 180. It is a 24.5 inch long led panel with 3 different sprectrum Samsung mid powered diodes (180 total pulling 1 watt each). Super clean light and it has linear lenses that house the leds so it focuses the light down rather than losing light to a wider spread. Since hanging it, this girl prays hard and the undergrowth is getting a lot more light now also. 3rd thing is i put 10 worms in the pot, hoping they will make castings and more available food as we transition this girl into flower. 4th thing is i am slowly transitioning the light schedule. Right now shes up to 9 hours of darkeness a night and soon she will get to her final 11on/13off light schedule. Last night I gave her a tea consisting of OregonismXL, grokashi and bloom yellow bottles "Seaweed." Looking amazing and still loving her no till pot.
