SATURDAY - Day 23 12 October 24 Watering day, 1 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 1 litre - 61.1 PPM Final - 1 litre at 6.45 PH at 62.8 PPM Runoff - N/A - Thinking of removing her giant fan leaves soon, they’re becoming cumbersome. - Did my final planned topping of the two top branches. - Now just have to give her time and continue shaping her. SUNDAY - Day 24 13 October 24 - Just a day under the lights. - She doesn’t seem too bothered by yesterday’s training. - She’s got a few days now to recover. - All is moving along according to plan. MONDAY - Day 25 14 October 24 - Just a day under the lights. - Also a good recovery day. TUESDAY - Day 26 15 October 24 Transplant day into a 5 gallon pot and her final home. 60% Gaia Green soil 20% Worm castings 20% Perlite 8 Tbsp Gaia Green All Purpose 4 Tbsp Gaia Green Power Bloom 5 Tbsp Diatomaceous Earth 1/2 Tbsp Dynomyco Amended it all and transplanted. WEDNESDAY - Day 27 16 October 24 - Just a day under the lights recovering from a big day yesterday, extended light hours and a transplant. - She’s looking perked up and pretty happy so everything is looking good. - Probably resume LST staples tomorrow. - I’m done with my planned toppings so from here on out it should just be LST until we flip to flower. THURSDAY - Day 28 17 October 24 - Ahhhhhh I tweaked a branch manipulating it with my gorilla hands. - It not completely broke off so hopefully she can repair it and recover. - Going to give her a bit more time to recover before restarting LST. - Just a day under the lights today. Well this is the end of week four. It was a busy week with the transplant, all planned toppings are completed and now it should just be some LST from here on out. Pests seem to be under control with use of trifecta and insecticidal soap. Applied 1 cup of Jobes organic fertilizer to 5 gallon pots and 2 cups of Jobes organic fertilizer to the plant in 15 gallon container. All plants receive at least 1 gallon of water every other day and 15 gallon plant receives around 2-3 gallons of water every other day depending on rain and soil touch/feel. Decided to grow a bagseed I found of gelato x GMO. While in seedling stage a chipmunk or squirrel tried to bury its stash in the soil and bent the stem over 90 degrees. I taped it up with some medical tape and it bounced right back, which is the picture I have now.

So this week has been quite eventful. First, for the good news, there has been tons of new growth and the plant has stretched like mad! The buds seem to be fattening up in the last couple of days which is always exciting!! That was the good news lol. The bad news is I found a few pollen sacks on this plant which is really disappointing. I have never run seeds from the breeder I went with this time around and I am chalking this up to weak genetics. I do not have any light leaks and I run a pretty tight and tidy ship on my end so it’s hard to think it was environmental. I pulled off what I found and it appears only one opened 🤦‍♂️ (see pictures). It has been a good 4 days since I have seen any so 🤞 I won’t see anymore. I will keep this plant going but if I wasn’t running a single plant I might pull the plug. Who likes seeds in their final product! 😬😬 Not me!! Let see if I've to add more later, trying to take EC under control. pH is quite stable , but it always goes decreasing and never raising. NEw lamp setup: I've purchased one that seems really good with 2 dimmers for both VEG and BLOOM lights. Very compact but powerful. Now I put bloom dimmer on 100% and veg dimmer on 80%. I'm not sure about the light time: the product sheet say 9-12/24 but now I'm 18/24. Last week went well once the distance was changed for the light and I added another mL per gallon of cal-mag and she is getting color back to some of the damaged leaves. I think she is back on the right track. She has needed more cal-mag than anything I have grown. Can't wait to try it out when finished. The smell is unreal. Reminds me of a super sour smelling candy like sour patch kids. She is stacking up bud nicely so far. Just smooth sailing for the next few weeks I expect. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Esta semana hubo un crecimiento muy acelerado. Estoy manejando la altura de las plantas con HST y corte, esperando a una nueva que agregué, para que empiece a estirarse. Cuando tenga la altura de las otras plantas, paso todo a floración. Estuve cortando los bajos de algunas plantas. Otras las estoy dejando crecer un poco para hacer nuevos esquejes. La solución se mantienen las mismas proporciones. Voy a ir actualizando la semana con fotos diarias, para tener una referencia del crecimiento. Día 16. El crecimiento es increíblemente rápido. Estoy aplicando cortes y super cropping porque quiero lograr plantas bien fuertes y bajas. Además quiero aprovechar la superficie de cultivo lo mejor posible. Por lo que voy a hacer varias cabezas por planta, y voy a intentar darles bastante crecimiento para que den más producción. Iré actualizando. Día 19. Se aplica bioestimulante Aux ym foliar. 2ml/l. Ya preparando para pasar a flora en 10 días. Prendí una de las luces laterales par darle más luz a la pequeña Jamaican Dream de prueba que hay en la punta. Día 20. Mañana se cambia la solución. Las plantas estan creciendo mucho. Voy guiando algunas ramas para que queden todas a la misma altura. La pequeña tiene toda esta semana para pegar el estirón final antes de pasar a flora. Confío en que va a llegar porque es sativa 90% a diferencia de sus vecinas 80% indicas. De todos modos me voy a concentrar en las Green Tiger, ya que este diario está dedicado a ellas principalmente.

So week 5 of flower done. I didn't get to spend as much time as I needed with them this week and barely got 4 feeds in. They get a ltr or 2 of water in between or the res will be dry so they're drinking nicely. She has stopped stretching so hopefully it's all stacking from now. Waiting on a loupe so I can tell when to harvest because I think I harvested her mum too early being my first plant. Took some of the leaves off that were shading other budsites and adjusted some of the lst later in the week but she seems happy enough. She is still outside even though we've had some rain, I'm sure I've managed to get her under cover most times.

Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability. Watch the trichomes closely as they continue to mature, signaling the start of the final phases of flower. The Florida Gang grind is real, and the Donutz are proving their worth week after week. This tent is shaping up to be a legendary grow!

We successfully completed week 8 and things are starting to get interesting. The buds have grown significantly in size over the last days and the smell has gotten much stronger. I think I also need a new air filter… The leaves did some coloring in the past week which makes this beauty look even more handsome. I optimized the air intake of my tent this week by replacing my one 100mm tube with two 130mm 3d printed light traps so breathing is much easier now and the vent can run a bit less fast.

Beginning of week 3. Great development good healthy color.

I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.
