Day 92 30/09/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag. She has shown drastic improvement this week with trichome development, colours deepening too a purple and pink . Pistils forming a deep 🧡, and the calyxs are forming like rose buds 🌹, tight upright curls , doused in trichomes 😍. Week 6 update: What up Grow family. These testers are growing fast and strong. Where in week 6 now and the swelling and ripening of flowers are going amazing. Still feeding 500ml/16oz daily as I've found that's the sweet spot for 3gal fabric pots for these. I'd say these probably have about 2 weeks left until they'll be finished. All in all Happy Growing.

I wish I could've taken more picture this week and previous week but I just could'nt remember to do it. Feeling nervous, but wierdly excited. Most promising strains for big yields are Super Silver and Tangie. Girl Scout Cookies being an autoflower already started to flower, wish it would have taken more time on veg to get bigger but it is what it is. Now starting flower. 12/12 cycle. 9 weeks

Welcome back to the conclusion of the Lemons! Day 56 from seed on the dot and these two girls came down, which is crazy fast! I had originally planned to let these girls run for another week, but the stem snapping on LP#2 put an end to that as she wasn't recovering well by the next day and I thought better to harvest now. The trichomes are in a good spot anyway, so I don't feel like I've lost out at all. The wet weight is good, but massively inflated due to the stems, so I expect to lose at least 75% of that, but I still think these girls yielded reasonably well. I like to dry in 2 stages in order to slow down that initial dry as the humidity is naturally quite low here. By leaving the stems and most of the leaves until Stage 2 I can control my dry time a little better. I leave the buds on the stems until they go into jars. There's no hard rule to how long I leave between stage 1 and 2, it depends entirely on how a particular dry is going and I judge it as it goes. Dry took 6 days total, trimmed large leaves at day 3, the rest at day 6.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Watered for the last time on Thursday going to have them dry out in their pots for 3 days and them chop them down I'm thinking probably on Sunday. Also have been using ice and cold water to flush pretty happy with the colors and trichome production. After completing week 14 successfully the plants are going to be harvested tomorrow Sunday the 23rd, the first day of Week 15/Week 10 of flower. This grow has been really awesome and a great first experience at growing, I'm so far pleased with how the buds have turned out, they are very dense and the smell is a strong berry vanilla fragrance that smells delicious. Buds have a decent amount of trichomes on them they foxtailed a little bit due to higher temps in flower but so far so good onto drying and curing now cross your fingers that goes well I do wish I was able to bring out a bit more color in the buds though.

I have the AirCube system set to 'Automatic Feed' now with two feeds per day for 15min. each. I'm checking the reservoir PH and EC before each feed as I'm still getting a PH climb due to the large air stone I have in the reservoir, and I want to keep my ppm's in the 600-700 range. So far, so good with the increase of nutrients. It looks like they are all beginning to get their color back, albeit slowly. 10/17- The Tropicana Cookies continue to be fed twice daily at 7am and 9pm, which works out to three hours AFTER lights on and six hours BEFORE lights off. So far this is working well with the medium having ample time to drain between feedings. I can see a noticeable difference in their color now, especially in the #1 plant. The #2 plant has a pair of lower leaves that are pretty damaged and I'll do a 'surgical' removal of them soon. the #3 is looking the best of the group, but the other two are on the rebound now. I'll have to wait and see how much this problem affects the plants growth and flowering and hope for the best! 10/19- I've got the AirCube system dialed in now and my little ladies have made a dramatic comeback! I've upped the nutrients to 650ppm's and am running the PH at 6.0-6.2 @ 74℉. Tent temperatures are running 73/80℉ during lights off/on, RH is being maintained @ 65%, and co2 levels at 1150-1300ppm's. I upped the output of the HLG 650R to 65% via a TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller, and have it hung 28" above the plants. Today, I drained and cleaned the reservoir and 'brain bucket', then refilled the system with 60L of well water to which added the following: 100ml each of Plagron Cocos 'A' & 'B', 30ml of Plagron Power Roots and 45ml of Botanicare CalMag+, and 3 tbsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss amino acids for a final level of 650ppm's. I then checked the ph and adjusted to 6.0 @ 74℉. I have also set the GrowAce AirCube system to 'Auto' mode and have it set for three 15min feedings a day, six hours apart, beginning two hours after 'lights on'. 10/21- There goes three weeks from seed on the books! All three Tropicana Cookies are looking really good now with great color and vigor, and I'm primarily concentrating on maintaining a consistent environment in the 4x4. The three times a day feeding schedule with Plagron nutrients ( Cocos A & B, Power Roots) continues @ 650ppm. I am also checking the reservoir before each to monitor and adjust the PH and nutrients when needed. I have noticed that after each feed the reservoir PH climbs 0.9of a point to 7.0, so I have been adding 30ml of Safer Grow PH Down which brings the PH down to 6.1. 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! The hermaphroditic of the two S.A.D.s has stopped, in total it remained at 4x 🍌 Since 5 days no more were added and I could already observe via my timelapse recordings how the flowers continue to grow. The Bruce Banner also shows no further deterioration in terms of potassium deficiency, the flowers continue to grow steadily. Although the S.A.D.'s were fertilized identically, neither of them show any major deficiency. Also interesting how S.A.D. #4 has overtaken her sister and her smell is not "grassy" at all. Something between floral with a sweet citrus/orange note. What also surprised me was that the Bruce Banner is already very far along in the development of its trichomes, many are already milky!

12th week of happiness

More Flowering! The rest of the strains started to catch up, but nanners started showing in the hermies and TP started to overripen with orange hairs. I would've gone extra days if there were no nanners, but it wasn't worth it to risk seeding the nugs, I'll just have to settle with more larfy buds. Going to start flushing next week.

🌸 Week 6 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is in the books and the differences between the phenos are becoming impossible to ignore now 👀🔥 Stretch has been very different across the plants and some phenos are clearly showing completely different growth patterns despite running under the same conditions. It’s getting easier every week to identify which phenos stay compact and bushy and which ones want to reach for the sky. 📈 Current observations: Pheno #3 and #4 have stretched aggressively and are now above 70 cm Pheno #5 took the lead and is currently sitting at around 101 cm 👀🔥 Pheno #1 and #6 are still in early flower / preflower and developing noticeably slower Plant architecture is becoming very clear now — some phenos are growing dense and bushy while others are showing strong vertical growth At this stage I already have clear favorites: ⭐ Pheno #4 and #5 are currently standing out the most for me in terms of structure, vigor, and overall development. But the real decision will come once the flowers fully build up. 🍃 Maintenance & development: Canopy management continues and I’m still removing leaves only where necessary to improve light penetration and keep flower sites exposed. 📊 Current environment: Temperature stable around 26°C Relative humidity sitting around 67–70% VPD target remains unchanged and is being monitored continuously Light intensity continues to increase gradually as flowering progresses The next weeks should become really exciting — structure is one thing, but now the buds will decide who becomes the real winner of this pheno hunt 🌸🔥 💬 Which pheno would you bet on at this point?
