Day 84: The Lsd25 are finally ready for a wet trim and hanging. I would normally hang compete until dry then trim but due to the already present budrot ( sorted out now and Neutralized) , I am going for a wet trim to get some density out for their drying. They have been good to grow but like the BlackBerry , I dont think their yield will be shattering any records. The LOS girl has a major case of leaf mould due to the dark period of 4 days and not enough airflow. Sorted with a bud wash and shake dry. They will be both trimmed up this evening for their slow steady dry. The previously dries #2 is curing now and gave me 41g of very nice buds. Will do a full harvest report as soon as they are ready for jarring. Peace and love folks.

weeks 7 and 8 the sweet aromas came through more and more. These Northern Lights are a great choice for a stealth grow. These two cultivars had some difference in morphology. Cultivar #1 grew a lot taller and faster than cultivar #2. #1 Stretched quite a bit more than #2, and her flower sites were much closer together. She was also more sensitive to watering, feedings, Light. and change in environment. Cultivar #2 grew much more short and compact, she pretty much trained herself in veg. In flower she had denser nugs and more internodal spacing. #2 was defintley the hardier culitvar and was a breeze to grow.

Hello everybody Harvest day here and just like last year I'm gonna make it a regular flowering week in the diary and in 3 weeks to a month I will come with the results. So the chop itself went pretty smooth. I removed al the FanLeaves, sugarleaves and already did a nice trim. Other years I tried different approaches but this seems the best. I cut away the main cola and some big buds below a few days sooner since they were absolutely done, the other buds I left on the plant to mature for a few days extra and then proceeded to completly trim her. Buds look great, Pretty dense and big and all the buds kinda have the same size. The main cola is also not that huge but very decent. Frosty as hell and with a huge smell in my opinion. U would think that this is the most fun part of a grow (it is actually ๐Ÿ˜‚) but I hate harvest day because of the insane smell a plant produces. Anyway she's hung up to dry now with a ventilator and a much needed carbon filter. The Roots on the plant looks insane. Lots of root bound and she really used all the soil and the entire pot. The stem is pretty thick, more then other years. I'm happy so far but the real test comes in 3 weeks. I already Tried a few sample buds and the taste is nice, a bit spicy and herbal, exactly what a Jack Herer is described like. I can only hope that with a good dry and cure she becomes even better but these were just small sample buds, curious for the big ones ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜… Thanks a lot for following this journey. See u guys and girls in 3 weeks Happy growing ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights ๐Ÿ™Œ Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below ๐Ÿ‘ The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right ๐Ÿ˜ I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Threw some videos in this week as well with some Queen's Radio GaGa, Beastie Boys' Brass Monkey, and a little hint of Arkells ....COME TO LIGHT on the short @ViparSpectraLED ..GET IT.. ๐Ÿ˜“ I thought the Red Poison had the streaks in the leaves but turns out it was the Purple Lemonade, My Chocolate Mint OG Auto just finished curing so I must have made that update during the test session ๐Ÿ˜Ž Chocolate Mint OG Auto Diary: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/77696-humboldt-seeds-chocolate-mint-og-auto-grow-journal-by-glazedgrow -- Thanks for checking in! ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ 8ยฐ WEEK FLO // DAY 50-56 (from switch) // DAY 127-133 (from dry seed) โšก- Light: 30 cm / 250 watt; โŒ›- Schedule: 12/12; ๐ŸŒก๏ธ- 22.5ยฐ C - 65% RH average; ๐Ÿ“‘- PH 6.2 - EC 2; ๐Ÿ’ง- 8ยฐ DWC change; ๐Ÿ”- Ripening blend: tap water EC 0.4 + CalMag 1 ml/l + Ripen 5 ml/l + Power Buds 1 ml/l; ๐ŸŒฑ- Both are producing a lot of resin on their buds, the phenotype #2 is very sticky; ๐ŸŒธ- Trichomes are turning milky, some amber here and there. Harvest in 7 days; ๐Ÿ”œ- We are almost at the end and I am already organizing my next two diaries, I really like this initial phase of organization and planning for the next four or five months. The "modus operandi" will be the same adopted in this cultivation, I will start with two very fast autoflowering plants and in the meantime I will give the two photoperiodic plants a long vegetative growth. I still have to decide on the strains, but I already have an idea. As far as the nutritional regime is concerned, there will be big changes, for the first time I will be using beneficial bacteria in my DWCs and anyone who has any advice on using them in this setup feel free to write to me and share some thoughts. ๐Ÿ†•- On week 15 I got the TrolMaster TCS-1 by @TrolMaster_Europe and I started to track my grow box data. I will add these info once I harvest!

And so week 6 since the 12/12 flip begins. The leaves look a little rough on two of the three plants. I suspect a combination of old nutrient burn (flushed since then) and then a deficiency on one plant. Hoping that my latest nutrient mix takes care of everything. I donโ€™t expect the leaves to improve. Two more weeks of feeding heavily and then I will start to taper my nutrients for the finish at week 10 (hopefully). Sunday: while filling the reservoir, I observed some very small bugs swimming in my reservoir water. Look like Springtails. Completely flushed and treated all equipment with bleach water and added new nutrient solution. Sprayed plants with Captain Jacks Deadbug to be safe. Hopefully this will knock out the potential infestation.

Hey all! Welcome to the first week of veg. She is doing great! I fed her on Monday (Jan 6th) with 1/16th tsp of seaweed extract by Green Rush Nutrients mixed in with dechlorinated 250ml tap water. The solution was set at 6.1pH. I fed her again with the same quantity and pH on Wednesday (Jan 8th). I have my humidifier on throughout at the lowest settings. I need to buy a hygrometer lol. Anyway, I fed her with 1/16th tsp of seaweed extract and 1/2 tsp of Green Rush Grow mixed in with 500ml of dechlorinated tap water. Her mommy (my wife) fed her this time on Saturday night (Jan 11th). The light intensity is now set to 100% and its still hanging 18 inches from the plant. This week, I will make sure to take daily pictures. Happy growing!

I liked growing this strain very much, it was very easy growing and everything worked out nice, I like the structure of this plant the node spaces are not so big and everything filled in nicely when she was flowering. The fastbuds zkittelz has giant huge buds they where one of the biggest buds i grow on auto's. It was a plesure to see em getting bigger and bigger. I found that the plant was very forgiving as in mistakes you make, so i recomend this to every grower out there. They only thing is it takes a little bit longer then they advertise. But then again maybe the company's are giving you the most early time you can harvest if you do everything as perfect as you can. I think you cannot do much more perfect as you have a plant that grow as big as this one. So that being said i think if you let em go for 2 weeks more then in the last 2 weeks the buds are really fattening up and they double in size sometimes. In the end i had some foxtails on my buds, not all of them but still a few, I was thinking about it, and maybe it is because i pushed her a little bit too much in the end with the nutrients, She was not that close to the lights i think. Or maybe it is also a little bit in the strain. I definitely grow this strain again. (no rights to the music in the video)
